India, 3rd March 2023: PVR Limited, the largest and the most premium cinema exhibition company in India, after the merger with INOX Leisure Limited, today announced the launch of its new 5-screen multiplex at Capital Mall in Nalasopara, MMR, Maharashtra marking its maiden entry into the city. The newly launched property stands as the latest entertainment hub for cinema lovers in the lakeside Capital City, a completely self-reliant, modernistic town. The Cinema is located in Nalasopara in Palghar district near Mumbai’s western suburbs, part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) has become one of the most-populous urban areas in the state.

Chennai, March 4, 2023: Earlier today, the New India Assurance Co Ltd. announced the launch of its Surety Bond business. It becomes the second insurer to offer Surety Bonds in the country.

The IRDAI permitted general insurers to issue Surety Insurance Bonds since April 2022. Surety bonds are legally enforceable tripartite contracts that guarantee compliance, payment and/or performance. The insurance company provides an underwriting guarantee, for a premium, in case of a default in execution of a project. It assures one party – the obligee, that the party responsible for project or service delivery – the principal, delivers on the project in a timely manner by adhering to the prescribed stipulations. The principal is also reassured that the surety will assume responsibility for timely payments. If the principal defaults on the performance, the Surety Insurance provider pays damages to the obligee.

When the contractors furnish a Surety Bond, the authorities will readily consider them as the bonds indemnify them to the extent of the bond issued in the event of non-performance.

Due to genetic reasons, Indians are more prone to obesity due to the large amount of fat around the waist. In addition to this, some factors related to lifestyle have also been found to increase body weight excessively. These are: consuming food that provides more calories than needed, lack of physical activity, endocrine disorders (diseases of the endocrine glands), mental illnesses, and certain types of drugs. Dietary habits, lack of adequate sleep, and heavy reliance on vehicles also contribute to weight gain.

The first thing to do is to make sure that the physical activity is enough to burn more calories than the food intake. For this, exercise, a low-calorie diet, and the use of weight loss drugs should be done. If these efforts are unsuccessful and obesity persists, weight loss surgery may be recommended. We have often seen patients coming to us with fractured eye sockets, detached retinas, and even blindness from water balloon exploding on the face during Holi.”

Don’t rub your eyes if colours enter the eyes accidently!

Rubbing the eyes can lead to corneal abrasion or can damage the cornea. It may also lead to eye infections and other complications. If the color has accidentally entered the eye, immediately cleanse the hands thoroughly with soap. Then, take a palm full of water and gently try blinking the eyes in the water. Avoid, splashing water into the eye, as it can aggravate the injury. It is also not advisable to use handkerchief or tissue to remove any particulate matter in the eyes as it can further aggravate the injury.

Remove contact lenses before playing with colours!

Contact lenses have hygroscopic properties which mean it can easily absorb water. Therefore, if any color enters the eye, it increases the risk of allergies and infections. The best solution is to use your glasses or opt for a disposable contact lens that can be discarded immediately if there is any sign of eye irritation.

Do not Self-Medicate!

The most important thing to note is to avoid self-medication. In case there are indications of eye injury or damage, then consult an eye expert immediately. 4th  March, Riyadh – The Saudi Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission has launched the inaugural edition of its Writers & Readers Festival on February 23 which is scheduled to continue till March 11 across five locations in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Region to celebrate Arabic and international literature.

With the aim of supporting the works of Saudi, regional, and international literary luminaries, the event showcases and provides opportunities for literary partnerships in the fields of publishing and translation.

Dr. Mohammed Hasan Alwan, CEO of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, said “Through this festival, we aim to acknowledge global literature and create a platform for writers and readers from around the world to exchange knowledge and ideas.

“The Eastern Region was chosen to host the festival because of its cultural heritage and historic impact on the literary movement in the area. It is home to some of the most influential literary voices, such as the 6th-century renowned Arab poet Tarafah ibn Al-Abd.”

The Writers & Readers Festival offers a comprehensive program with several interactive activities, allowing audiences to enjoy an immersive literary experience, including panel discussions with renowned writers, literary salons, literary criticism workshops and movie screenings.

Additionally, the program will also have theatrical performances, poetry nights, musical concerts, crafts and culinary markets and food trucks to cater to visitors.

One of the key events of the festival is the Sharqiyah Book Fair, which will take place between March 2-11 at Dhahran Expo, and is the Eastern region’s first book fair ever. Matches of Mumbai Heroes will be telecasted on & Pictures Hindi, PTC Punjab will telecast matches of Punjab De Sher, Zee Cinemalu, Zee Thirai, Zee Pichar, Zee Biskope, Zee Bangla will telecast matches of Telugu Warriors, Chennai Rhinos, Karnataka Bulldozers, Bhojpuri Dabanggs, Bengal Tigers and matches of Kerala Strikers will be telecasted on Flowers TV.

CCL 2023 has a new format never played anywhere in the world.

• T20 match will consist of each team playing 2 innings just like in a test match but each innings will be a maximum of 10 overs.
•  The power play will be applicable for the first 3 overs of each inning.
•  The batsmen coming in to bat in the 1, 2 & 3 positions in the 1st innings will not be allowed to bat in the 1, 2 & 3 positions in the 2nd innings. They can only come into bat from number 4 in the second innings.
•  The bowlers who bowled in the power play of the first innings cannot bowl in the power play of the second innings
