‘Pret Boys’ follows the misadventures of three Gen Z misfits: Prem (played by Ritik Ghanshani), Tatsat (played by Ahan Nirban) and Rajat (played by Shardul Pandit). The trio sets up Pretboys.com – an unconventional start-up dedicated to capturing and busting ghosts. Prem hails from a lineage of tantric practitioners, Tatsat is a passionate paranormal research enthusiast and Rajat is the business-savvy brain behind the operation.

Their lives take an unexpected turn when they encounter Eisha (played by Aanchal Munjal) – a vulnerable yet quick-witted girl with the ability to see ghosts. As the four team up to tackle various supernatural spirits, they unwittingly cross paths with UN_KRA – a malevolent force of darkness. Eisha’s connection to this sinister realm puts her and those close to the girl in grave danger. Can the Pret Boys rescue her from this trap? Talking on the OTT debut and his character, Shardul Pandit said, “So this is my first venture in the world of OTT and I was very excited to play a comedy character because I have done very intense roles on television in the past, but this was a project which was a complete comedy. The director sat me down and explained me the character and expressed Rajat was his favorite character from the show and the lines they were writing were best suited for me and convinced me to do Rajat. Throughout the show we kept improvising on our dialogues which made it a lot of fun.”

[Paris, France,21st June 2023 Huawei launched the 2023 Tech Arena competitions in Europe at Viva Technology, one of Europe’s biggest tech summits, on Friday.

Tech Arena competitions are sponsored and designed by Huawei’s worldwide labs in partnership with top universities to give students from around the world more opportunities to experience and learn how to solve real-world problems.

Liu Shaowei, President of Huawei’s European Research Institute, explained that the company plans to host 10 Tech Arena competitions for over 1,000 students during the 2023–2024 school year. These competitions will be hosted in several countries, including France, the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Belgium, Poland, Switzerland, and Israel.

Liu also emphasized that Huawei’s sharing of the results of past Tech Arena competitions was evidence of Huawei’s determination to invest in young talent. By the end of 2022, there were more than 5,400 students from over 52 universities who had participated in Tech Arena. Also to date, Huawei has offered more than 3 million dollars to make this competition platform available to global students.

“The results showed that more and more young people truly are improving from Tech Arena; this is aligned with the company’s intention to help build stronger talent pools for local communities,” Liu added.

Liu also released the themes of some Tech Arena competitions; other competitions will reveal theirs later in the year.

Vegas Mall, Delhi’s ultimate shopping and entertainment hub, organized a Blood Donation Drive in collaboration with the Rotary Blood Bank. Hyderabad 19th June 2023: KLH Hyderabad Campus of KL Deemed to be University is proud to announce its collaboration with SETU Ireland which aims to conduct cardiovascular research. The MoU is signed between Dr. K. Thirupathaiah, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at KLH Hyderabad Campus and Dr. Pat Chambers, Professor, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at SETU, Ireland. The primary objective of the collaboration is to undertake the design, development, and implementation of implantable antennas operating at THz frequencies, specifically in the research field of Microwave Photonics.

The scope of the collaboration includes joint work around the development of advanced THz antenna designs, and system architectures that have the explicit purpose of monitoring the body in conjunction with iWNSNs and will enable seamless interaction between iWNSNs and medical professionals. This collaboration will bring together expertise from both institutions to address critical research questions and drive transformative solutions particularly to improve diagnostics and treatment for cardiovascular diseases.

Talking about the collaboration, Dr. G. Pardha Saradhi Varma, Vice Chancellor, KL Deemed to be University said, “This collaboration signifies a significant milestone in the pursuit of advancements in cardiovascular research. By pooling resources and expertise, the initiative will is expected to make substantial strides in combating cardiovascular diseases and improving patient outcomes. The project has already received funding from the Ireland Government and is scheduled to commence in September 2023.
