The greatest social impact initiative 36 Dialysis Machines at Mahavir and Ramdevrao Hospitals were replaced with new and advanced machines meant for Dialysis services offered at a subsidised price @ Rs 300/- per session

Hyderabad, December 25, 2023…… Hyderabad-based NGO Bhagwan Mahavir Jain Relief Foundation Trust (BMJRFT) achieves a record 13.72 lakh Dialysis and creates yet another world record for performing the most dialysis by a Social Organisation. It crossed the one million dialysis milestone on 14th October 2021 and is now 13, 72,798.

Other achievements at a glance include giving 9,64, 154 Erythropoietin Injections; Iron Injections 5,22,120; and Ocarnit Injections 3,49,107 at subsided prices during this 14-year journey. It has supported 6,986 patients so far. The patients supported with medicines are 8,812.

To mark the occasion, it has today replaced 24 Dialysis Machines at Mahavir Hospital & Research Centre and 12 Dialysis Machines at Ramdevrao Hospital, Kukatpally with the most advanced dialysis machines. These dialysis machines are meant for subsidised dialysis for patients, who need to pay just Rs 300/- as against Rs 1200/- to 3000/- charged in corporate hospitals.

These new machines were donated by philatelists. They cost on the whole Rs 2.52 crore to the donors.

The trust provides dialysis services to more than 1300 patients in the twin cities every month. As of November 2023, the trust has done 1372798 Dialysis sessions. And saved well over INR 109 crore for the patients.

It has installed 215 machines at various Mahavir dialysis centres during the past 14 years.

In a function held on Sunday morning at Mahavir Hospital & Research Centre, A C Guards, Masab Tank, Hyderabad rededication of the 36 machines was done.

Dailysis Machines New Donated

Speaking on the occasion PC Parakh said two dialysis centres are newly renovated with the most modern and technically advanced machines. Health is one of the pillars of the human race. According to one survey, we are more backward than Bangladesh and Pakistan in providing quality health care services at affordable cost. There are three models of healthcare delivery—Government, Corporate and Trust hospitals like ours, he said. While government hospitals are few and always lack resources. Corporations are unaffordable. Non-profit trust hospitals are the saving grace, he said

PC Parakh added that they have been providing dialysis at Rs 300/- for the past 14 years. Though costs have gone up, they have not increased the price.

Inderchand Jain, one of the Trustees said kidney failure puts the entire family in debt. A kidney patient who needs dialysis needs to shell anywhere in the range of Rs 50,000/- to rupees one lakh every month. It is a huge burden on the breadwinner of the family. We have begun our journey with six patients with six dialysis machines we have reached today doing 600 dialysis a day.

Besides subsidized dialysis, BMJRFT also provides injections of Erythropoietin, Iron Sucrose, Levocarnitine and Dialysis kits at highly concessional prices

The Trust founded by 16 like-minded Jain friends of the city in the year 2009 has been offering Dialysis at Rs 300/as against Rs 1200/- to 3000/- charged in Corporate Hospitals. What was started 14 years ago has now become a very big humanitarian service being talked about across the world. It has 215 dialysis machines doing close to 600 dialysis sessions every day.

The service is offered at 10 different locations and 3 associate hospitals, all in Hyderabad, except two in Aler & Jadcharla. It has reduced the financial burden on the patients. The trust was founded to provide affordable health care to financially weak members of society irrespective of caste and creed.

The locations where subsidized dialysis is offered include 01. King Kothi District Hospital, King Kothi; 02. Mahavir Hospital, AC Guards Masabtank; 3. Ramdev Rao Hospital, Kukkatpally; 4. Gurunanak Medical Centre, Gurudwara, Secunderabad; 5. Zoi Hospital, Attapur; 6. Challa Hospital, Ameerpet; 7. Indo US Hospital, Malakpet; 8. Quthbullapur, Suchitra 9. Community Health Center, Aler, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri.Dist, 10. Area Hospital, Jadcharla. The trust is headed by Mr P.C. Parakh as Chairman.

Can you provide insights into the founding principles of Blitzkrieg Co. and how they have guided the company’s growth and development over the years?

Values, transparency, and trust are the 3 core principles on which Blitzkrieg Co started. These core principles define us and guide us, transparency with our developer partners and customers a trusted relationship, and delivering values for both our developer partners and customers we have been very particular in timing up with developers who have the vision to deliver a quality product and similarly we help our customers to find their right home in our developer partner projects r association which developer is not a short term we are involved from concept to possession hand holding the developer and customer along the way. These principles have helped us to get the entire portfolio of our developer partners and drive 30% plus referral business.

In what ways has Blitzkrieg Co. contributed to the local community or urban development through its real estate projects?

We work with developers who are focused towards the development of community and improvement of micro-markets. However, the values that we bring into our undertakings are tangible and persistent. Like for instance, in Samarth Aura in Bhandup, the sales value we generated was huge. To ensure a good quality concrete road was established around the project (our developer partner made sure this), thereby creating a beneficial impact on our development and the general surrounding infrastructure as well.

Our resources recruiting policies encouraged to achieve their full potential has been a consistent action on our part. Our vision is clear: We grow when our team members grow. This is our collective desire and we must attain it.

Could you share an example of a real estate project where innovative marketing and sales strategies played a crucial role in achieving success?

As the world emerged from the pandemic, we took the opportunity to plan projects tailored to the changing lifestyles of our customers. Adapting to their evolving needs, we implemented the concept of ‘blissful living’ in one of our projects, Samarth Aura in Bhandup. The project features 60 amenities, and our marketing campaign highlighted ’60 Reasons for Blissful Living.’

In another project, our marketing strategy, ‘Rise Above the Ordinary,’ resonated well with the aspirations of the current middle class, proving successful in our Vikhroli project.

We also observed that while customers appreciate the projects, their financial understanding of home buying is still at an early stage in India. To address this, we created extensive and innovative financial offerings to assist customers in realizing their dream homes. These sales strategies have been instrumental in the success of all our projects.

Our sales approach follows a simple strategy, contributing to strong performance in the current market. From pre-sales to sales and post-sales, providing exceptional customer service has been the cornerstone of our strategy. This approach has not only helped us achieve impressive sales numbers but has also generated remarkable referral business, as customers appreciate our assistance in realizing their dream homes

The most significant challenge facing the real estate industry right now is acquiring the right resources for projects, which is crucial for project success. We have successfully overcome this challenge through our employee-friendly policies, placing people at the core of our business. By providing immense opportunities and assisting our employees in reaching their aspirations, we have seen individuals progress from starting as telecallers to becoming sales champions and closing managers. A positive brand has helped garner higher sale price in same micro market vis a vis competition, hence focussing on building brand should be taken very seriously by developers.

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar,23rd December 2023 : S M Sehgal Foundation, in collaboration with DCB Bank and NIRDPR (National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj) as the knowledge partner, held the second chapter of the Capacity Building and Experience Sharing workshop series in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, on 20th December 2023. Titled ‘Jalagam’ (panlot in Marathi), the workshop was graced by Dr. Debapriya Dutta, Head & Scientist “G” /Adviser, Societal Mission & Science for Equity Empowerment and Development (SEED) Division – State S&T Programme (SSTP) Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. The addition of one of the most popular fragrance brands on Myntra will give the platform a major fillip, considering that the Fragrances, Bath & Body, and Accessories segments are among the brand’s top performers.
