From Jaipur to Nagpur, Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Ignites a Nation of Problem-Solvers

GURUGRAM, India, July 10, 2025: From the sunlit classrooms of Jaipur to the buzzing lecture halls of Nagpur, a powerful question echoed across campuses: “What problem will you solve for India?”

That question lies at the heart of Samsung Solve for Tomorrow, a national innovation challenge that is transforming students into changemakers—and campuses into launchpads for the future.

SFT Jaipur

After a powerful launch on April 29, the design thinking workshops and college Open Houses swept across India—reaching not just major metros but also the vibrant heartlands of the Northeast.

Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025 will provide INR 1 crore to the top four winning teams to support the incubation of their projects, along with hands-on prototyping, investor connects, and expert mentorship from Samsung leaders and IIT Delhi faculty.

At Neerja Modi School in Jaipur, over 1,000 students filled the auditorium with their ideas, ambitions, and dreams. Among them, Naman Lakhani found himself thinking beyond textbooks:

“I’ve always wanted to build something that could solve real-world issues. Samsung Solve for Tomorrow showed me that someone out there actually wants to listen to us—and help make those ideas real.”

Anshika Gupta, another student, added: “It felt like a spark. This programme is not just about innovation—it’s about inclusion. It made me feel like I could be a part of building India’s future, even while I’m still in school.”

The journey continued to Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School, also in Jaipur, where Ishan Sharma, part of a 850-strong student turnout, found his perspective shift:

“I realised that I don’t need to wait to graduate or become an adult to solve problems. If we have ideas now, Samsung Solve for Tomorrow wants to hear them. That’s empowering.”

In Nagpur, the vibrant community of Ramdeobaba University welcomed the campaign with open minds and open notebooks. Among 640 participants, Manya shared her dream of building AI-driven solutions for public health:

“For once, a platform came to us—to our campus, to our city—and said, ‘Let’s build something that matters.’ It’s not just a competition. It’s a launchpad.”

Even virtually, the momentum didn’t stop. Shanti Business School in Ahmedabad hosted one of the largest online Samsung Solve for Tomorrow open houses yet, with over 1,700 students tuning in. Discussions ranged from clean energy to accessibility tech.

“It felt like a national classroom of creators,” one student shared in the chat. “We were miles apart, but our ideas connected.”

In Bhopal, Oriental Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) brought the conversation to ground zero—how students can use tech to tackle local problems. With 290 students in attendance, the event had a quiet, determined energy.

“We don’t just want to dream. We want to build,” a student said. “Samsung Solve for Tomorrow is giving us the blueprint.”

As Samsung Solve for Tomorrow rolls across India, it’s making one thing clear: Innovation doesn’t belong to labs or big cities. It belongs to every student with a question and the courage to find an answer.

So, if you’re a student with an idea that could solve a real problem—this is your moment. Apply now to Samsung Solve for Tomorrow. Your classroom could be the next stop in this journey. And your idea? It could change everything.

Code Meets the Road: Continental White Paper Explores Key Technologies for Connected Mobility

Frankfurt, Germany, July 9, 2025: Continental is underlining its pioneering role in digital mobility with a white paper titled “Mobility applications for software-defined vehicles – an approach based on verifiable credentials.” It illustrates how, beyond merely serving as a means of transport, vehicles could in the future become versatile platforms for intelligent software solutions – including for real-time traffic management.

Continental

The focus of the publication is on so-called verifiable credentials (VCs), which are regarded as a key technology for greater security and data protection in connected mobility applications.

Continental outlines a practical approach for how verifiable credentials can enable trustworthy communication between vehicles, infrastructure and digital services – a crucial step on the path to secure, software-defined mobility of the future.
Verifiable credentials are a standardized, cryptographically secure format for digitally representing information – such as details about a vehicle or a user – enabling unique and trustworthy identification. The white paper was created as part of the publicly funded cooperation project GAIA- X 4 AGEDA, a subproject of GAIA-X 4 Future Mobility, in which Continental is taking a leading role together with well-known partners from industry and research to address the central challenges of increasing connectivity and digitalization in the automotive sector.

Verifiable credentials as a key to the safe mobility of tomorrow

Mobility applications are increasingly becoming a central component in meeting the mobility requirements of tomorrow. However, their integration in the vehicle, the necessary connection to an open ecosystem and the decentralized management of identities and data raises many questions. It is therefore necessary to create a framework that ensures both the seamless integration of new applications and compliance with strict security and data protection standards. “Research by colleagues has shown that verifiable credentials are a promising approach for the secure use of mobility services in vehicles. They enable a high level of security and data protection when using software-defined vehicles as an execution platform for mobility services,” explains Nino Romano, Chief Technology Officer at Continental Automotive.

Based on the results of the GAIA-X 4 AGEDA project, the white paper outlines the necessary fundamentals and describes the key aspects of how the use of verifiable credentials provides an effective way to make access to vehicle data and functions secure and flexible. The white paper underscores the importance of the developed framework for the mobility of the future. It makes clear that the concepts embedded within it are central to integration into modern, software-defined vehicle architectures. “Software-defined vehicles as part of a cloud ecosystem are the key technology for future mobility concepts,” says Romano. “With a reliable and trustworthy digital framework, the vision can become reality.”

Continental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods. Founded in 1871, the technology company offers safe, efficient, intelligent and affordable solutions for vehicles, machines, traffic and transportation. In 2024, Continental generated sales of €39.7 billion and currently employs around 190,000 people in 55 countries and markets.

Nash8 Redefines Advertising with ‘Manga-verse’ Campaign for Too Yumm…

New Delhi, 9 July 2025 — In just two years, Nash8 has emerged as one of India’s boldest new creative agencies — a team rewriting the rules of advertising for the short-form generation. Their latest work for Too Yumm! ‘The K-BOMB Manga-verse’ campaign, fronted by Ananya Panday, is a striking example of how Nash8 blends youth culture, platform-native storytelling, and visual immersion to connect with Gen Z in ways most brands only aspire to.

nash8

Driven by a sharp mobile-first mindset, Nash8 doesn’t believe in adapting ads for digital — it builds for it from scratch. Whether it’s a series of shortform podcasts, anime-inspired disruptive reels, or billboards that look like Japanese manga art, the agency’s creative philosophy is clear: make content that feels native, not interruptive. Make advertising that earns attention — not buys it.

“Gen Z can smell a traditional ad from a mile away,” says Nasheet Shadani, Founder and Creative Head, Nash8. “For Too Yumm!, we wanted to create a universe that stood out from the clutter yet felt relatable for GenZ consumers. And came up with this Idea of “Manga-verse” that not just referenced manga — it lived and breathed it. We read over 50 manga books before we even started designing. That’s the kind of depth we try and bring to the table.”

Three explosive reels, a series of short-form podcasts, and manga art inspired billboards across the country bring this ‘Manga-verse’ to life. The campaign features Ananya Panday gatecrashing the ‘Manga-verse’ and having a blast.

Talking about the campaign Shadani says, “While, on the surface it may look like an art project but underneath it’s a strategically designed campaign aimed at moving business metrics. Combining the universal appeal of K-culture with the charm of Ananya Panday the campaign is crafted to convert and win hearts.”

But this is just one of many campaigns that have made Nash8 the talk of the new-age creative space. Their work for brands like Urban Company, MakeMyTrip, NoBroker, ZEE5, Axis, Instagram and 99acres reflects a consistent language: culturally aware, thumb-stopping visuals built natively for digital, not adapted from TV scripts.

Their campaigns don’t just perform well — they’ve also earned acclaim. Nash8 was named Young Agency of the Year at the afaqs! Foxglove Awards, where it won two Golds, for its ‘Forex at your doorstep’ campaign for MakeMyTrip. Another Gold came at ETBrandequity Digi+ awards for their “Bin Bulaaye Mehmaan” campaign for Urban Company.

The Urban Company and Axis bank reels campaigns were also featured as a Meta

Case study for exceptional work.

“We are living in a complex world of content and information overload, thus it becomes important to craft stories that are fun and relatable— and do not feel like chores to watch,” says Aiman Zubair, Business Head at Nash8. “Our work taps into what today’s audience cares about: tone, vibe, and relevance. Whether it’s pop culture, emotional storytelling, or innovative advertising — we don’t chase trends, we translate them into stories that drive results.”

Nash8’s journey is just beginning, but its voice is already unmistakable — one that belongs to a generation raised on stories, not slogans. As the digital world grows more complex, Nash8 is proving that simplicity, style, and scroll-savvy storytelling can still make people stop — and listen.
