Pride of Cows Partners with Faye D’Souza, Others to Promote Dairy Awareness

Mumbai, 9 July 2025 — In a bold move to shift the national conversation around everyday dairy choices, Pride of Cows, India’s first single-origin milk brand, has strengthened its latest campaign, “What’s the Source of Your Milk?”, by partnering with the most trusted public voices, award-winning journalist Faye D’Souza, popular sports broadcaster Jatin Sapru and food and travel blogger Kamiya Jain from Curly Tales

As the demand for authenticity and accountability in food grows louder, Pride of Cows is championing a message of radical transparency in the dairy industry. At the heart of this campaign lies a powerful and simple question: where does your milk really come from?

Through strategic collaborations, the campaign is reaching new and diverse audiences across news, lifestyle, and sports. Award-winning journalist Faye D’Souza, known for her fearless advocacy and focus on consumer rights, brings depth and credibility to the conversation around food transparency. Complementing her, renowned sports broadcaster Jatin Sapru adds a warm, relatable voice that resonates with family audiences across India, encouraging them to rethink their everyday milk choices. Further amplifying its digital reach, Pride of Cows has partnered with popular food and travel content creator Kamiya Jani from Curly Tales. Through engaging video content and immersive storytelling, this collaboration brings the brand’s farm-to-doorstep journey to life — reinforcing its core promise of purity, traceability, and trust for today’s urban consumer.

“Consumers today are asking more from the brands they bring into their homes. With this campaign, we’re giving them not just a better product, but also better answers,” said Akshali Shah, Executive Director, Parag Milk Foods Ltd. “By bringing on board respected voices like Faye and Jatin, we’re taking this conversation to living rooms across India. They represent the modern Indian family that cares about what goes into their food and most importantly, where it comes from.”

The “What’s the Source of Your Milk?” campaign is a comprehensive 360-degree initiative spanning premium print, digital storytelling, social media engagement and influencer collaborations. The messaging is bold, thought-provoking and rooted in the brand’s core promise of complete traceability.

At a time when most dairy products are sourced from fragmented third-party networks, Pride of Cows stands apart by delivering milk exclusively from its own world-class dairy farm near Pune. Here, over 5,000 cows are raised with international best practices, fed a nutritionally balanced diet and milked in a fully automated, contactless process. The milk is then transported via a direct cold-chain system, ensuring zero human touch from farm to doorstep.

This model doesn’t just ensure unmatched purity and consistency it also gives consumers a rare assurance in today’s cluttered food ecosystem: knowing exactly where their milk comes from.

With respected public figures now joining the cause, Pride of Cows is doubling down on its vision to create a movement where every consumer feels empowered to ask the right questions and make informed choices about their dairy.

TeamViewer Boosts Simulator Efficiency for Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team

New Delhi,—July, 9 2025TeamViewer, a global leader in digital workplace solutions, is driving improvements for The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 Team with the performance-enhancing advantages of TeamViewer Tensor in managing the driver-in-loop simulator.

In the highly competitive world of Formula 1, every millisecond counts. The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team seeks to ensure a competitive advantage at every stage of a race weekend to get the car across the finish line first, including the technology it deploys throughout its operations.

Part of this process is the driver-in-loop simulator which replicates the behavior of a real car, but in a controlled digital environment where every circuit can be driven on and every possible car configuration can be explored. Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team drivers, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, use this simulator to test drive different car setups and discover the best possible options to configure it for the race weekend. This year, the simulator work is especially important for rookie driver Antonelli as he familiarizes himself with new tracks.

The team’s reserve and simulator drivers are also often busy in the simulator, especially during race weekends. Simulator drivers and the simulator team work closely with the engineers to test solutions for real-time issues which, if effective, can be applied to the race cars on the next session. As the race team is frequently overseas and in different time zones, TeamViewer Tensor ensures that key personnel have the flexibility to log in, monitor, and make changes to the simulator devices remotely, even when they’re not on site in Brackley, England.

This maximises the use of these simulators with unmatched security, scalability, and manageability.

Christian Damm, Simulator Development Engineer for the Team, notes that, “Not only are the simulators a sensitive area, they’re also very secretive. We need to be able to trust that the data security is in place. With TeamViewer, we can have that peace of mind. The work in the simulator has an impact on the track so being able to push boundaries and enhance performance is a win for my team.”

Damm also highlights that one of the benefits of using TeamViewer Tensor is dynamic remoting that allows multiple users to connect to one machine to troubleshoot a problem together. He has a specific setup at his desk, with multiple screens, and is able to replicate this remotely on his laptop.

In addition, TeamViewer Tensor’s scalability and centralized management allows the simulator team to effortlessly add or remove users and machines, reducing the time it takes to manage new resources and secure them within groups. Tensor also displays significantly better resolution than the previous software used by the team, which would stutter and freeze. Tensor’s ability to utilize a higher bit rate and tune colors as needed has allowed it to avoid these disruptive issues, providing a high-quality experience at all times. And whether it’s a trackside engineer or IT staff at the factory, ensuring that team members can access the data in real time can be the difference between winning and losing on the track.

“On the track, every second counts – so we need to ensure our technology implementations can keep up to ensure drivers and team members can access all the data they need in real time to make those split-second decisions to get us over the finish line. We use TeamViewer across our digital workplaces, whether the office, the factory or at track, so when Christian approached us about new technology for the simulation, Tensor was the obvious choice. Due to the cost cap all our technology deployments have to deliver value. It is always a balancing act where technology spend will make more of an impact than putting the money elsewhere in the team,” said Steven Riley, Head of IT Operation and Service Management, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team.

FICCI FLO Bengaluru Unveils FLO Santé – A First-of-its-Kind Platform for Women-Led Brands

30+ women entrepreneurs redefine India’s future through conscious commerce and community-driven innovation

Bengaluru, 9th July, 2025: FICCI FLO Bengaluru, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), proudly unveils the first edition of FLO Santé, a pathbreaking initiative redefining how India experiences sustainability, commerce, and community through the lens and leadership of women.

Conceived by Dekyi Yangtso Chawla, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Bangalore, FLO Santé is more than an event — it’s a movement. One that transforms the traditional marketplace into a dynamic hub of inclusive growth and conscious living.

Set to take place on Friday, 18th July at Anantya, Gate 9, Palace Grounds, the one-day showcase will feature over 130 women-led brands, across sustainable fashion, artisanal food, wellness, homegrown beauty, and conscious lifestyle. Rooted in purpose and ethical entrepreneurship, the event is free and open to all.

At its heart lies The Wedding Edit Pavilion, a curated space blending couture, wellness, gifting, and beauty under one roof. This showcase is not just aesthetic; it aligns with national policy ambitions to integrate women-led MSMEs into high-value sectors like India’s $50-billion wedding economy through direct customer acquisition rather than charity.

True to Bengaluru’s creative pulse, the day will also feature a fashion masterclass by Shivan & Narresh, will conduct a workshop on Couture on the Table. Wellness session by Marzi, exploring holistic health and longevity, and live musical performances, infusing warmth, rhythm, and a deep sense of community.

In a time where sustainability remains a buzzword and women-led enterprises often struggle for visibility beyond social media, FLO Santé bridges the gap between purpose and profit. From reusable tote bags to eliminate waste, tetra pack water stations replacing single-use plastic, a pre-loved fashion swap embracing circularity, to an engaging pedal-powered installation generating electricity on the ground, the event demonstrates that conscious choices can be both impactful and inspiring.

Speaking about the initiative, Dekyi Yangtso Chawla shared, “We’re not here to incubate businesses; we’re here to give them real customers, real visibility, and real sales. FLO Santé is about creating access to markets, not just mentorship. It’s a commercial platform where women-led brands can thrive, scale, and be seen as serious contributors to India’s economic future.”

Under Dekyi Yangtso Chawla’s leadership, FLO Bengaluru is reshaping the narrative around women entrepreneurs, moving beyond token gestures to champion true economic empowerment.

FLO Santé exemplifies this commitment: a vibrant platform where women-led brands are not just included but celebrated as key drivers of India’s growth story. This vision continues with “Breaking the Silence”, an upcoming Mental Health, Art, and Short Film Festival in August, aimed at fostering open dialogue and healing through creativity and storytelling.

Dr Birbal Jha: The Visionary Champion of Language, Culture, and Social Empowerment

“Language is not merely a tool of communication—it is a passport to dignity, equity, identity, and both social and economic mobility.”Dr Birbal Jha

BIRBAL

In a country of over a billion voices, where dialects shift every hundred kilometres and opportunities often favour the linguistically privileged, one man has dedicated his life to empowering the voiceless through the power of language. That man is Dr Birbal Jha, a social entrepreneur, noted author, cultural crusader, and social reformer, who has helped over 4 lakh individuals rewrite their destinies—not with wealth or influence, but with words, self-confidence, and skill.

Born in the heart of Bihar and rooted in the rich soil of Mithila, Dr Jha is a self-made visionary whose life’s mission has been to make English—once a symbol of elitism—into a language of liberation and emancipation. His impact, however, extends far beyond classrooms and textbooks. It is etched into the lives of the marginalised, the aspiring, the forgotten, and the proud bearers of India’s regional cultures.

The Founder of a Language Movement

As the Founder and Managing Director of British Lingua, an internationally acclaimed institution headquartered in Delhi, Dr Birbal Jha has led what many call an English skills training revolution. Over the last three decades, he has trained more than 400,000 individuals, spanning students, job seekers, government employees, and rural youth, transforming their lives through employability skills and communicative competence.

But Dr Jha’s contribution goes deeper than grammar and vocabulary. He introduced the groundbreaking andragogy of “English for Social Equity”—a bold and inclusive model that challenges linguistic elitism and promotes language learning as a tool for social justice and mobility. In a nation still grappling with systemic inequality, this approach has resonated powerfully with India’s aspirational masses.

Transforming the Poorest of the Poor

Dr Jha had a landmark collaboration with the Government of Bihar, where he spearheaded a training programme for 36,000 Mahadalit youth—those considered the poorest among the marginalised. These young people, many of whom had never stepped into a formal classroom or spoken a sentence in English, were given the tools to dream, express, and rise.

From learning basic English expressions to facing job interviews, these young men and women emerged from Dr Jha’s programmes with dignity, confidence, and hope. For many, this was more than a training—it was a second birth.

Empowering Educators, Building Futures

Recognising his expertise, the Government of Bihar also entrusted Dr Jha with the upskilling of English teachers in government high schools. Through intensive training modules, he introduced thousands of teachers to modern, communicative language teaching, thereby improving the quality of English education across the public-school system.

In Dr Jha’s words, “When a teacher improves, generations benefit.” His work in this domain has quietly but effectively impacted hundreds of thousands of schoolchildren, creating a ripple effect of progress.

In the run-up to the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India focused on enhancing both infrastructure and human interaction. Those who served as the first point of contacts were trained in Spoken English and behavioural skills. This training was imparted by Dr Birbal Jha under the banner of British Lingua. It aimed to ensure effective communication and warm hospitality for international guests. Dr Jha’s efforts were widely applauded by the government as well as media houses, highlighting the vital role of soft skills in shaping India’s image on the global stage.

A Cultural Warrior in the Age of Globalisation

While his educational endeavours span across India, Dr Birbal Jha has also fought to protect the soul of his native culture. As Chairman of the Mithilalok Foundation, he launched the internationally recognised “Save the Paag Campaign”—a movement to revive and protect the traditional Maithili headgear (Paag), which symbolises dignity, honour, and identity in Mithila culture.

Under his stewardship, the campaign garnered nationwide attention, culminating in the recognition of the Paag as a cultural symbol. His work reinstated a vanishing heritage into public pride, reconnecting the youth of Mithila to their roots with renewed affection. Paag postage in 2017 was issued by the Government of India following the campaign.

Again in 2017, his cultural, educational and literary contributions were formally acknowledged when Dr Birbal Jha’ biography titled “Youngest Living Legend of Mithila” was published—honouring his unique blend of activism, intellect, and identity.

Author, Motivator, Thought-Leader

Dr Jha is also a prolific author with over 30 books to his credit. His publications—such as “Celebrate Your Life”, “English for Social Justice” and ‘Spoken English Kit’—have become go-to resources for learners, educators, and policymakers alike. His works are not merely academic—they are social documents that blend pedagogy and andragogy with purpose.

Beyond books, he is an acclaimed speaker and motivator, delivering lectures that blend wit, wisdom, and warmth. Whether addressing university scholars or rural youth, Dr Jha has a rare gift of connecting across generations and geographies, speaking not just to minds, but to hearts.

A Life Rooted in Values, A Vision for the Nation

Dr Birbal Jha’s journey—from a small village in Bihar to becoming one of India’s most influential educational reformers—is a testimony to the power of resilience, purpose, and relentless service. He doesn’t merely teach English—he uses language as a medium to restore dignity, ignite aspirations, and foster unity.

He continues to inspire with campaigns like “Viksit Bharat, Viksit Bihar”, calling for regional empowerment in alignment with the national vision. His message is clear: development must begin with education, language, and culture—the real engines of human progress.

Conclusion: A National Treasure in a Local Hero’s Soul

In an era where many chase fame and fortune, Dr Birbal Jha stands apart as a torchbearer of hope, humility, and humanity. His impact is measured not in headlines but in lives changed, voices found, and identities reclaimed.

He has proven that with the right words, a farmer’s child can become a leader, a marginalised youth can become a professional, and a fading tradition can once again bloom.

If India is to truly become a Viksit Bharat, it will be on the shoulders of visionaries like Dr Birbal Jha, who teach us that the most powerful revolution is not one of politics or power, but of language, love, and learning.

Anil Agarwal Calls for Galvanization Push to Protect India’s Economy and Infrastructure During Monsoon

New Delhi, 09th July 2025: As monsoon rains sweep across India, Vedanta Group Chairman Anil Agarwal has issued a timely and urgent reminder on social media about an often- overlooked economic risk ‘corrosion’. In a compelling post, he highlighted that rusting of iron and steel due to moisture, heat & pollutants results in a 5% loss to India’s GDP annually, a drain that is both massive and avoidable.

“Everything made of iron or steel is prone to rusting due to wetness and moisture,” he wrote. “This is a huge loss, which can easily be prevented. The solution lies in galvanization where steel is coated with zinc.”

With this, Mr. Agarwal spotlighted zinc as a national protector an essential mineral that shields steel infrastructure, vehicles, and buildings from decay, enhancing their life span and safety. His call to action is clear: in a country like India, where infrastructure faces severe weathering, galvanization must become a mainstream practice, not an afterthought.

Beyond corrosion prevention, Mr. Agarwal also positioned zinc as a future-critical mineral, pointing to its emerging role in clean technology. “Today, zinc is being explored as an alternative to lithium in high-tech batteries,” he noted, indicating zinc’s strategic potential in India’s clean energy and storage revolution.

Through its subsidiary Hindustan Zinc Limited, India’s only and the world’s largest integrated zinc producer, Vedanta has been at the forefront of promoting galvanization and responsible zinc use across infrastructure, mobility, and green tech. This message comes not just as an industrial advisory but as a larger economic imperative With a 7,800 km-long coastline, large regions face extreme corrosive conditions. Corrosion costs India approximately 5% of its GDP annually, a stark contrast to countries like Japan and Australia, where zinc-coated steel has reduced this figure to under 1.5%. Zinc galvanized steel offers durability against heat, pollution, moisture, and mechanical damage while ensuring long-lasting performance. Galvanized steel is also cost-effective as it incurs lower maintenance costs thereby increasing asset life and resulting in significant economic savings.

Steel, which constitutes over 70% of most vehicle bodies, is highly susceptible to corrosion unless it is protected. Zinc is the single most effective material to protect steel from corrosion. In international markets like North America, Europe, China and Japan, over 90% of vehicles use zinc-coated bodies. In stark contrast, India lags, with currently only about 0 to 25% of vehicles utilizing zinc-coated bodies

As India builds for the future, Agarwal’s post serves as a strong reminder that galvanization is not just about preventing rust it’s about protecting national assets, conserving public wealth, and accelerating India’s industrial resilience. As India inches towards the goal of 300 MTPA steel production and aims to become a developed country, zinc galvanization will enable reducing maintenance costs and higher overhead costs for upcoming infrastructure projects.

Collaborate. Coordinate. Thrive: The Path to Resilient Operations

By Sundar Balasubramanian, Managing Director for India and South Asia, Check Point Software Technologies

Operational resilience in the context of cyber security means strengthening an organization’s ability to respond to crises. It must be prepared for disruptions, whether caused by attacks, technical failures, or human error. In addition, it must be able to respond quickly and recover sustainably. There is no definition yet, but the BSI Group uses the term “organizational resilience” and defines it as follows: “Organizational resilience is the ability of an organization to absorb shocks and adapt to a changing environment in order to achieve its goals, survive, and thrive.” Derived from this and tailored to the role of the CISO, operational resilience aims to protect organizations from cyberattacks in such a way that both economic survival and ongoing operations are equally secured.

CISOs are shaping operational resilience as a strategic management goal. They are taking responsibility and embedding their goals in corporate strategy.

The CISO’s job is to create the technological, procedural, and organizational conditions necessary for IT security in their company. They create a security architecture aimed at resilience, drive the integration of interoperable platforms, and establish processes for continuous risk monitoring. In addition, they ensure the development of incident response and backup capabilities as well as the meaningful use of threat intelligence information. At the same time, the CISO acts as a bridge between traditional IT, the business, management, and specialist departments. They pursue the goal of embedding security measures in the company strategy, creating clear responsibilities, and building a resilience-promoting corporate culture. In short, they must create operational resilience.

Supporting this shift, India’s evolving tech landscape is witnessing a sharp rise in demand for talent in areas like cyber security (up 215%), cloud (16%), and data analytics (256%), as per Quess Corp’s Annual Digital Skills Report FY24. These skills are foundational to helping CISOs build scalable, secure, and responsive IT environments. As Indian enterprises intensify digital transformation, CISOs are not only protecting systems—they’re actively shaping hiring strategy and driving enterprise-wide resilience from the ground up.

Operational resilience requires technological resilience

Unlike operational resilience, however, this approach focuses purely on providing crisis-proof technology. Together, the two ensure resilience in maintaining ongoing operations. Technological resilience requires modular, fault-tolerant systems with strong automation and continuous testing and validation loops. An effective resilience strategy is based on the interoperability of security technologies via open interfaces, integrated data management, and a consolidated platform architecture. Only then can sub-disciplines and technologies such as XDR, EDR, cloud security, IAM, and zero trust work together as core components. Resilient teams are interdisciplinary, DevSecOps-oriented, and closely integrated with the business. Building an adaptive security platform in the form of a hybrid mesh architecture creates transparency, automation, and rapid responsiveness. However, this is crucial for resilience in an increasingly complex threat landscape. Technological resilience basically describes an organization’s ability to remain functional and recover quickly despite technical disruptions, attacks, or failures.

This involves identifying various core components and competencies.

These include:

  • System redundancy,
  • Modularity, e.g. fail-open vs. fail-close in terms of fault tolerance,
  • automated recovery via infrastructure-as-code,
  • cyber resilience integration, e.g., via zero trust,
  • deception,
  • threat hunting,
  • table top exercises, and
  • concrete testing & simulation via chaos engineering or red teaming approaches.

Coordination and interoperability

CISOs must coordinate security technologies and ensure their interoperability. Their goal is to create a harmonious, holistic security ecosystem rather than a collection of individual solutions. They are responsible for maintaining an overview of the so-called “security sprawl,” i.e., the jungle of providers. Unfortunately, the knee-jerk reaction of consolidating providers, i.e., reducing the number of security tools, is often taken too early as a solution. In contrast, deeper integration with a platform provider with a proven ecosystem is the much better choice.

CISOs should therefore not commit to a single provider, but rather focus on the right ecosystem and keep an eye on technological harmony. In a crisis, technologies must be able to interact and be managed via a single platform; a multitude of partial solutions and platforms makes detection and defense more difficult. If, for example, some of the security systems are bypassed during a cyberattack, interconnected systems could still monitor the behavior of the malware and report it via the platform. While working together, they can then detect and thwart the attack at an early stage. Establish a culture of error In addition, it is important to build resilient security teams. These teams are characterized by interdisciplinarity, DevSecOps orientation with clearly defined roles and responsibilities within a “failure culture.”

Security teams must repeatedly train together for emergencies in order to prove their resilience. Specialization does not necessarily help if silo thinking prevails. It is important to work together harmoniously in extreme situations. CISOs should establish a form of “Growth Through Mistakesnight” in their teams. No one is perfect, and mistakes happen, especially in stressful situations. That’s why it’s important for managers to support their teams and cushion them from pressure coming from all directions, whether it’s from senior management, individual departments, or external sources such as service providers or customers. However, such a culture must not operate in silos. It should enable the results of regular training and experience gained from security incidents to be discussed openly with one another. If the insights gained are transferred into your own practices, a robust error culture emerges in which the CISO can rely on their team in an emergency, but the team can also rely on their CISO.
