From Hormones to Ovulation, Signs You Might Be Naturally Fertile

By:-  Dr. Meghana Nyapathi, Cluster Head – Reproductive Medicine, Milann Fertilityl, Bengaluru

Fertility isn’t just about getting pregnant,it also reflects your hormones, nutrition, and overall well-being. But, many women often ignore or miss simple signs of their body.  At times , women find it difficult to identify when they ovulate or recognize the natural cues of their reproductive health. A 2023 study published in the Indian Journal of Community Medicine revealed that over 60% of Indian women had low fertility awareness.

Understanding the subtle signs that the human body gives out on a regular basis is crucial.  The following are the six main indicators that you might be naturally fertile.

  • Women having regular menstrual cycles:

The physiological process by which one of your ovaries releases an egg is called ovulation, and it usually happens 14 days before to your next period.  Following its release, the egg passes through the fallopian tube, where sperm can fertilise it and this leads to pregnancy.  The egg disintegrates 24 hrs post ovulation if fertilisation is unsuccessful, and your menstrual cycle continues with the onset of the period. The menstrual cycle normally lasts between 26 and 35 days, with ovulation usually taking place approximately 14 days before the next period.  Regular cycles indicate that your hormones are in balance and that the ovaries are regularly releasing eggs.  About 20% of Indian women experience irregular cycles, which might be a sign of PCOS, thyroid imbalance, or stress, all of which can disrupt ovulation.

  • Understanding possible ovulation symptoms:

Around the middle of the  cycle, you might notice a dull ache in your lower belly, a bit of bloating, or even a sudden burst of energy. These are your body’s gentle hints that ovulation is happening,  a phase doctors call mittelschmerz, which simply means “middle pain” in German. It’s your ovary releasing an egg, and a key moment if you’re trying to conceive. Nearly 8 in 10 women experience these subtle signs.

  • The changes in Cervical mucus

As you get closer to ovulation, you might notice a change in your vaginal discharge, it becomes clear, slippery, and stretchy, almost like egg whites. This is your body’s way of helping sperm move easily and stay alive longer, making it the perfect time for conception. If your discharge feels dry or sticky instead at all times, or discolouredit could be your body’s signal that you’re not in your fertile phase yet, or that your hormones need a little attention.

  • What healthy skin and hair describes

If your skin feels clear and your hair looks healthy and shiny, it’s often a sign that your hormones are well balanced. But if you’re struggling with frequent breakouts, hair loss, or noticing extra facial hair, your body might be trying to tell you something. These changes can happen when male hormones (androgens) rise, which is common in PCOS, a condition that affects about one in five Indian women and can make it harder to get pregnant.

  • What does stable weight and active metabolism tell you about

Keeping your weight in a healthy range helps your hormones stay balanced and supports regular ovulation. If you’re underweight, your body might not produce enough reproductive hormones. On the other hand, carrying extra weight can affect insulin levels and make ovulation less regular. Studies show that even a small weight gain, about five BMI points can lower your chances of getting pregnant by nearly 25%.

  • Minimal Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) or Menstrual Pain

It’s normal to feel a little discomfort before your period, but very painful cramps or heavy bleeding can be a warning sign. Conditions like endometriosis , fibroids,or even endometrial polyps which affect about 1 in 10 women, can make it harder to conceive. Smooth, manageable cycles usually mean your hormones are in good balance.

When a couple tries to conceive for 12 months but fails, and most importantly ,after trying for even just 6 months , if the woman is over 35 years, they should consult a fertility specialist. Because, early intervention can help to identify underlying issues quickly and help to get improved outcomes.

Fertility is also one of the factors that decides your body’s internal equilibrium.  Therefore, by understanding these signs women can safeguard their reproductive health and make educated decisions by being aware of these covert indicators and getting prompt medical attention before it’s too late.

Grace Cancer Foundation Celebrates 12 Years; HYDRA Commissioner Compares Anti-Encroachment to Surgery

GARETH WYNN OVEN_DR SHAILENDRA KUMAR JOSHI_MR AV RANGANATH_DR CHINNABABU SUNKAVALLI AT THE 12 TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS OF GRACE CANCER FOUNDATION

Hyderabad, Dec 4: Grace Cancer Foundation (GCF), one of India’s leading non-profit organisations dedicated to cancer awareness, early detection, treatment support, rehabilitation and research, celebrated its 12th Anniversary on Thursday at Forum Hall, Hotel Daspalla, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.

Founded by Dr Chinnababu Sunkavalli, Senior Consultant Surgical & Robotic Oncologist and Clinical Director – Surgical Oncology at Yashoda Hospital, the Foundation has evolved into a global movement committed to reducing the cancer burden through scientific innovation, technology-driven outreach and community-based healthcare initiatives.

On this occasion, Dr Chinnababu Sunkavalli announced that the Grace Cancer Foundation has entered into two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the Governments of Meghalaya and Tripura to roll out free cancer screening programmes from February 2026. He said the Foundation began with a noble mission to alleviate the burden of cancer by offering Cure, Care & Compassion to the needy, and over the years, this has transformed into a holistic health campaign striving to create freedom from cancer through education, early detection, timely treatment, rehabilitation and cutting-edge research. Over the past 12 years, Grace Cancer Foundation has touched the lives of 1.4 crore individuals across 130 countries, reflecting its expanding global footprint.

The celebrations were graced by Shri A. V. Ranganath, IPS, Commissioner of HYDRA, Government of Telangana, as Chief Guest, and Dr Shailendra Kumar Joshi, IAS (Retd.), Former Chief Secretary of Telangana, and Shri Gareth Wynn Owen, British Deputy High Commissioner, Hyderabad, as Guests of Honour.

Addressing the 200-plus gathering, Shri A.V. Ranganath, referring to Prof. Arun Tiwari, who spoke before him, remarked that just as Dr Chinnababu works as a surgical oncologist for a cancer-free society, “we too are no less than surgeons. We at HYDRA are also surgeons, removing tumours from society, saving public property from encroachers. We are working to protect public property for a safe, secure and sustainable city.”

He said HYDRA has reclaimed public property worth ₹60,000 crore in the past 15 months since it came into existence and, buoyed by overwhelming public support, has set an ambitious target of reclaiming property worth ₹1 lakh crore in the next one year. “When we reclaim public property, we derive a lot of satisfaction—it is a feel-good factor,” he added, noting that he draws inspiration from Dr Chinnababu and feels recharged by his work.

Dr Shailendra Kumar Joshi and Shri Gareth Wynn Owen lauded the efforts of the Grace Cancer Foundation in taking cancer awareness and screening to the masses.

Prof. Arun Tiwari explained why the HYDRA Commissioner was chosen as Chief Guest, drawing a parallel between Dr Chinnababu, who is working towards a cancer-free society, and Shri A.V. Ranganath, who is working towards encroacher-free public properties.

Their presence underscored the growing recognition of GCF’s work at a time when India faces an alarming rise in cancer cases—over 1.6 million in 2023, with a projected 12.8% increase by 2025.

Early detection continues to be the strongest scientific intervention for improving survival outcomes, and GCF’s model demonstrates the power of accessible and technology-enabled cancer care. In 2024 alone, GCF screened more than 61,000 individuals, leading to over 1,000 early detections.

Its goal for 2025 is to reach one lakh lives through free mobile screening for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), including cancer, diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular risk profiling. The anniversary event brought together medical experts, dignitaries, public health professionals, volunteers and supporters to spotlight the innovations, research collaborations and community initiatives that continue to drive the Foundation’s impact.

An annual report was presented, and an annual newsletter was unveiled on the occasion.

“Snowflake’s most strategic partnerships are measured not just in scale, but in the depth of innovation and customer value that we can create together,” said Sridhar Ramaswamy, CEO, Snowflake. “Anthropic joins a very select group of partners where we have nine-figure alignment, co-innovation at the product level, and a proven track record of executing together for customers worldwide. Together, the combined power of Snowflake and Claude is raising the bar for how enterprises deploy scalable, context-aware AI on top of their most critical business data.”

“Enterprises have spent years building secure, trusted data environments, and now they want AI that can work within those environments without compromise. This partnership brings Claude directly into Snowflake, where that data already lives. It’s a meaningful step toward making frontier AI genuinely useful for businesses,” said Dario Amodei, CEO and Co-founder, Anthropic.

“We leverage Anthropic’s Claude models in Snowflake Cortex AI and this has transformed how we work with our customers to achieve increased Fin AI Agent automation rates for their support volume. Our engagements, especially with our biggest, most demanding customers, are holistically more efficient and more effective. We can do things we simply could not feasibly do before,” said Dave Lynch, VP EngineeringIntercom. “We will continue to seek out places where we can build on strong security and governance foundations of the Snowflake platform to drive impact for our customers and revenue for Intercom.”

Snowflake and Anthropic Deliver Enterprise-Ready AI

By bringing Anthropic’s Claude models directly to organizations’ governed, business-critical enterprise data in Snowflake, joint customers can accelerate the delivery of AI agents that create real-world value. Key benefits of the partnership include:

  • Turn Data Into Action: Snowflake Intelligence, powered by Claude Sonnet 4.5, is an enterprise intelligence agent that puts insights at every user’s fingertips. It enables business users to analyze, reason, and gain insights from all of their structured and unstructured data, using only natural language prompts.
  • Unlock Deeper Analysis with Multimodal AI: With Snowflake Cortex AI Functions, users can leverage Anthropic’s newest models, including Claude Opus 4.5, which Snowflake hosted on day one, to query all data types from traditional rows and columns of numbers to text, images, audio, and more all while using SQL, the universal language they already know and love for managing data.
  • Build Custom, Multi-Agent Solutions: Snowflake Cortex Agents empower users to build trusted, production-ready data agents to retrieve their structured and unstructured data more accurately. Customers can power these data agents with Claude, helping ensure accuracy, efficiency, and governance at every step of the workflow.
  • Built-In Governance and Observability: When leveraging Anthropic models in Snowflake, Snowflake Horizon Catalog provides end-to-end governance and responsible AI controls  so teams can bring AI agents into production with confidence.

Snowflake also utilizes Anthropic’s Claude Code internally to enhance developer productivity and accelerate innovation across its engineering organization. Claude models also power Snowflake’s internal GTM AI Assistant, built using Snowflake Intelligence, which enables sales teams to centralize data across the organization, ask questions in natural language, and find relevant insights that help accelerate deal cycles.

How to Ensure a 3 BHK Villa in Bangalore Has Positive Energy Flow?

BHK Villa in Bangalore

A home should feel calm, balanced, and full of life the moment you step inside. The way light enters a room, air circulates, and spaces connect has a quiet but powerful influence on your mood. Homebuyers in Bangalore increasingly value these unseen qualities alongside luxury and design.

A well-planned 3 BHK villa in Bangalore can offer comfort and privacy, along with an atmosphere that radiates harmony and positivity. Let’s look at the key factors that help maintain this flow of positive energy and turn your villa into a peaceful sanctuary.

Key Factors that Influence Positive Energy Flow in a 3 BHK Villa in Bangalore

Positive energy in a home comes from thoughtful planning, natural elements, and emotional connection. Each aspect contributes to a living environment that supports health, happiness, and peace of mind.

  • Orientation and Direction

The direction your villa faces can determine how sunlight and air move through the space. East- or north-facing entrances are considered ideal because they allow soft morning light to fill the interiors. Sunlight symbolises vitality, and having it flow through your living areas helps create a cheerful and balanced atmosphere. Many modern 3 BHK villas in Bangalore now follow such orientation principles to enhance natural brightness and warmth throughout the day.

  • Layout and Spatial Design

Open, well-planned spaces naturally encourage better air circulation and free movement. Narrow hallways and cluttered rooms can restrict both airflow and energy. When reviewing layouts of under-construction projects in Bangalore, check that living and dining areas are interconnected and well-lit. Rooms should feel open yet comfortable, allowing light and air to travel easily. The right spatial balance keeps your villa from feeling confined and promotes a sense of harmony in everyday life.

  • Natural Light and Ventilation

A well-ventilated home instantly feels more alive. Ample daylight keeps your interiors fresh and reduces dependence on artificial lighting. Wide windows, skylights, and cross-ventilation are small architectural details that have a big impact on the feel of a home. A thoughtfully designed 3 BHK villa in Bangalore uses these elements to ensure constant air exchange, removing stagnation and keeping rooms energised.

  • Use of Natural Elements

Bringing nature indoors connects you with balance and calm. Adding indoor plants, natural textures, or water features introduces freshness and life. Consider bamboo, money plants, or peace lilies to purify the air and symbolise growth. Many 3 BHK villas in Bangalore communities include landscaped courtyards or garden patches for this purpose. Even a small green corner can bring emotional and visual relief after a long day.

  • Lighting and Colour Palette

Lighting sets the emotional tone of a home. Natural light during the day should be complemented by soft, warm artificial lighting at night. Cooler lights work better for kitchens and study areas, while warm tones create a relaxed ambience in living rooms and bedrooms.

Pair your lighting with soothing colours such as white, light blue, or pastel green. Earthy tones add grounding energy. A well-lit 3 BHK villa in Bangalore instantly feels more spacious and tranquil, supporting comfort and focus for all residents.

  • Clean and Inviting Entrances

The entrance is the gateway for both guests and positive energy. Keep this area clean, well-lit, and clutter-free. Adding gentle fragrances, potted plants, or soft lighting creates a welcoming atmosphere. Many under-construction projects in Bangalore feature elegant front entrances and landscaped pathways, creating a warm first impression for homeowners and visitors alike.

  • Balanced Vastu Alignment

Vastu principles have long been associated with balance and well-being. While not everyone follows them strictly, some placements can support a natural energy flow:

  • The master bedroom in the southwest is for stability
  • The kitchen in the southeast for warmth and nourishment
  • A prayer or meditation space in the northeast for peace

Several 3 BHK villas in Bangalore projects now blend modern architecture with Vastu elements, ensuring a home that feels both functional and harmonious.

  • Clutter-free Interiors

Clutter blocks energy and affects clarity of thought. Keeping your villa clean and organised allows air and light to move freely. Minimal furniture, hidden storage, and tidy surfaces promote peace and efficiency. Residents who maintain clutter-free spaces in their 3 BHK villa in Bangalore often experience better focus, restful sleep, and overall well-being. A calm space supports a calm mind.

  • Personal Touches and Décor Harmony

Your surroundings reflect your inner world. Add décor that conveys positivity and happiness, such as soft fabrics, family photographs, or art that inspires. Avoid overly dark or chaotic designs that may disturb balance. Homes that express their residents’ personality and values tend to feel naturally peaceful. When your 3 BHK villa in Bangalore feels personal, it becomes a true source of comfort and stability.

  • External Environment and Community Setting

The surroundings of your villa influence its internal energy. Proximity to green spaces, parks, and tree-lined roads enhances air quality and overall peace. Homes located away from busy roads or industrial areas experience less noise and dust. Builders in Bangalore are now prioritising green infrastructure, ensuring that every home benefits from a cleaner, calmer environment. When the outer environment feels balanced, the inner space benefits too.

Creating a Balanced, Peaceful Living Environment

Creating positive energy in a 3 BHK villa in Bangalore is about more than design aesthetics. It’s about building an environment that feels balanced, peaceful, and alive. When every corner supports harmony from the entrance and lighting to colours and ventilation, the entire home becomes a space of comfort and joy.

Homebuyers are increasingly drawn to builders who understand this connection between architecture and well-being. Builders like Casagrand focus on thoughtful layouts, ample ventilation, and green design principles that naturally support energy flow.

The Human Frequency: Why Man Made Rugs Believes Time Is the New Luxury

Jaipur, Dec 3 : In a design world dominated by speed, Man Made Rugs makes an intentional choice to move differently. At a time when luxury home décor is increasingly defined by trends and algorithms, the brand repositions luxury through time – measured not in seasons, but in hours of human craftsmanship. Their handmade rugs, created entirely without powerlooms, carry the quiet confidence of objects shaped slowly, deliberately, and with purpose.

Each rug reflects the unhurried rhythm of traditional handwoven craft. The fibres show the subtle signatures of artisanal skill – shifts in tension, tonal variations, and textures that evolve only when a piece is crafted by hand from start to finish. These marks of imperfect beauty are not corrected; they are honoured. They form the emotional connection to craft that Man Made Rugs considers the real foundation of handcrafted luxury.

“Every rug is an heirloom in progress,” says the founder Mr. Pritam Khanna. “Time isn’t just part of our process – it’s the value we are offering.”

In a market crowded with machine-made designs, the brand makes a clear distinction between craftsmanship vs machine-made. Their slow craft movement is not a philosophy but a working reality. The artisans who create these pieces spend weeks – often months – perfecting a single rug. It is this time-honored craftsmanship that gives each piece its depth, weight, and longevity.

The brand also understands the needs of modern luxury interiors. Their rugs are created for intentional living – homes that value stillness, authenticity, and meaning. These aren’t decorative accessories; they are artisanal home accents that ground a space, soften its energy, and bring a sense of emotional home design. Each piece blends seamlessly into contemporary architecture while carrying the legacy of Indian craft traditions.

What makes a rug luxury today isn’t simply material or colour. It’s the presence of the maker’s hand. It’s the narrative of the slow design movement. It’s the assurance that a piece has been shaped with respect, not acceleration. Man Made Rugs captures this philosophy of handcrafted design and presents it in a form relevant to global taste yet deeply rooted in Indian craftsmanship.

As homes across the world shift toward slow livingsustainable rugs, and meaningful objects, Man Made Rugs offers something increasingly rare – pieces that feel personal. Pieces that feel lived with. Pieces that hold the human-made vs mass-made frequency of the people who made them.

In a culture obsessed with the immediate, the brand’s refusal to compromise time feels almost radical. And in that radical slowness, a new definition of luxury emerges: one that cannot be rushed, replicated, or replaced.
