Mumbai,9th October 2023  Conceptualising the fusion of fashion, architecture, and technology into a cohesive textile installation, Minal Gala, a design student from Istituto Marangoni Mumbai, joined forces with the innovative Architecture studio Morphlab to present ‘Threads of Life.’ This captivating installation came to life within the inspiring setting of MorphLab in Mumbai.

The theory behind this installation was to display the odyssey of the magnificent, microscopic narrative that starts through the integration of the ovary and the sperm and eventually evolves into the creation of the wonderful voyage of life. This microscopic yet momentous event weaves a narrative rich in complexity and significance. Life’s symphony unfolds, intertwining threads of challenges and triumphs. Amid this intricacy, a serene clarity emerges, akin to the calm after a storm. This artistic odyssey, expressed through weaving, macramé, crochet, and braiding, comes to life with the touch of wool and cotton. White, red, orange, and yellow hues breathe life into the full spectrum of human experience.

Talking about the installation and her journey in creating it, Minal says, “Gratitude flows to those who believed in my vision, from my mentors, Mevin, Manuela, Janet, and Camille; to the owner of MorphLab who gave me the space to generate this art piece, Sahil Jain. This project serves as a testament to the boundless possibilities that life holds, reminding us that age is no barrier to pursuing one’s aspirations and that life, despite its ups and downs, is an exquisite journey enriched by remarkable experiences.”

Elaborating more on this installation Sahil Jain (Principal architect of Morphlab) states “Our studio space has evolved into a vibrant platform for art, where creativity knows no bounds. The installation seamlessly fuses with our product collection Nuolo, extending its essence into the realms of art. Minal’s creation serves as a testament to the limitless possibilities when design and art converge. Projection mapping by Floating canvas company adds another dimension to our vision, enriching the viewer’s experience with immersive storytelling.”

New Delhi: KONE Elevators India, a fully owned subsidiary of KONE Corporation, partnered with KHUSHII to execute the “Shikshaantra Plus – School Transformation Project” in SDMC K-II, Sangam Vihar, South Delhi. There are remarkable changes KONE India’s CSR has brought to SDMC K-II:

●Ground Leveling: The project involved flattening the previously overgrown rear-side playground, which was covered with bushes and thorns. This transformation not only improved the visual appeal but also established a secure and easily accessible area for students, teachers, and school events.

● BaLA (Building as Learning Aid) Painting: The corridors and walls of SDMC K-II received a vibrant makeover through BaLA Painting. The infusion of colors has not only added visual appeal but also fostered an environment where creativity and imagination can flourish.

●Green Boards for Classrooms: A fundamental educational enhancement, green boards were installed in classrooms. These boards provide teachers with a dedicated space to convey information, facilitating interactive learning experiences.

● Student Dual Desks: Recognizing the importance of ergonomic furniture for students, KONE India generously contributed 150 dual desks for nursery to 5th-grade classrooms for improved seating comfort and a conducive learning environment.

●Desktop Computers and Furniture: KONE India generously donated 20 computers along with tables and stools, complete with electric fittings. This technological upgrade empowers students with access to modern learning tools, contributing to their digital literacy and skills development.

●Notice Boards: Effective communication is vital in any educational institution. KONE installed 15 notice boards across various classrooms, ensuring the dissemination of important information and notices.

●Class Gate Painting: In an impressive feat, KONE painted all 54 class gates, each measuring 7×4 feet. This aesthetic enhancement promotes a sense of pride and ownership among students and staff.

● Tile Work: Before the BaLA painting on the corridor walls, meticulous tile work was undertaken to ensure a durable and long-lasting finish, contributing to the overall durability and maintenance of the school’s infrastructure.

● Classroom Whitewashing and Waterproofing: Ensuring the structural integrity of classrooms is paramount. KONE took the initiative to whitewash and waterproof the classrooms, protecting them from environmental factors to a conducive learning environment.

KONE Elevator India has not only enhanced the physical infrastructure of SDMC K-II but also inspired and uplifted the spirits of the students, teachers, and the entire school community.

Gurgaon, 4th October 2023: Cogoport, a global trade platform and IIM Amritsar have announced the commencement of its first batch of candidates for the Post-Graduate Certificate Program in Global Logistics and Freight Management.

The inauguration took place today at the Cogoport office. Bengaluru,2nd October 2023 The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2023, a highly respected gateway to MBA programmes in India, has officially released its important dates for the upcoming year. The Registration for SNAP 2023 started on August 23, 2023 and is set to close on November 23, 2023.

In accordance with the same, the admit cards for the SNAP Test will be accessible exclusively through the official SNAP website, www.snaptest.org, on specific dates: December 04, 2023 (Monday) for SNAP Test 01, and December 09, 2023 (Saturday) for SNAP Test 02 and SNAP Test 03. The last date for registration and payment for SNAP 2023 is November 23, 2023.

The SNAP Computer-Based Test (CBT) for 2023 is scheduled across three distinct dates: December 10, 2023 (Sunday), December 17, 2023 (Sunday), and December 22, 2023 (Friday). The highly anticipated announcement of SNAP 2023 examination results will occur on January 10, 2024 (Wednesday).
