Vedantu launches Ved to deliver AI-driven personalised learning across India

Bengaluru, India, 14th November , 2025: Vedantu, the pioneer in LIVE online learning, announced the launch of Ved, an AI-powered personal mentor that makes personalised, human-like academic guidance accessible to every student. Built on insights from Vedantu’s Master Teachers and trained on millions of hours of real learning interactions, Ved provides structured support that adapts to each student’s learning journey. Ved represents a breakthrough in educational technology that processes comprehensive student data to deliver mentorship at scale.

For almost two decades, Vedantu has championed personal attention, first by transforming online teaching for millions of students, then by integrating the best of online learning into tech-enabled offline classrooms across the nation.  Students gained access to high-quality lessons, yet hyper-personalised mentorship remained difficult to scale. The launch of Ved addresses this critical gap in digital learning. Ved functions as a continuous learning companion that interprets progress, identifies gaps, and guides students through their learning journey in a timely and contextual manner. The platform draws from multiple data signals including lecture attendance, test performance, practice patterns, and in-app learning behaviour. This enables Ved to respond with precision and provide relevant support calibrated to each student’s preparation stage and learning requirements.

“Ved does not replace the teacher. It amplifies the teacher’s ability to guide every student continuously,” said Pulkit Jain, Co-Founder, Vedantu. “Students are no longer learning in isolation; they are being guided with context, care, and clear next steps. This is how we create a real shift in online learning: by delivering personalisation & measurable impact at scale, at an affordable cost, and making high-quality learning accessible for every student across the country.”

Ved’s capabilities are structured to support every stage of learning. The platform comprises four core features designed to address distinct academic needs:

  • Personalised content curation through LearnList: This feature creates a smart, structured playlist of videos, SmartNotes, and quizzes in a sequence that aligns with syllabus requirements and the student’s current understanding. The result is a clear, structured learning path that eliminates the confusion of endless content recommendations.
  • InstaSolve for round-the-clock doubt resolution: This capability provides 24/7 doubt resolution. Students can upload a photo or type any question to receive step-by-step explanations, including detailed reasoning, pointing out common mistakes and suggesting shortcuts. Unlike conventional AI tools that only provide solutions, Ved identifies the core concept behind each doubt and automatically generates a LearnList consisting of curated videos, notes, and practice questions. This transforms every doubt into a structured learning opportunity, reinforcing understanding and building long-term conceptual mastery.
  • ScoreBooster for performance diagnostics:  ScoreBooster translates test attempts into actionable improvement insights by analysing how each question was attempted, time allocation, accuracy patterns, and confidence levels across the four parameters of speed, accuracy, consistency, and confidence. Ved identifies the student’s attempt style, generates improvement plans, and explains how targeted focus can raise overall marks and rank.
  • LectureLens for remembering every lecture: This capability transforms how students engage with both LIVE and recorded classes, ensuring clarity and support beyond traditional classroom hours. Ved listens and transcribes every lecture, reads the board, and breaks sessions into timestamped segments. It generates SmartNotes, quizzes, and practice tests that make revision efficient. Students can also ask questions during class replay and receive contextual responses aligned to the exact point of instruction

Commenting on the launch, Anand Prakash, Academic Head and Co-Founder, Vedantu, said,

“Real learning happens when a student understands exactly where they stand and what they must do next. With Ved, every student will get that level of clarity in their learning journey every single day. It nurtures the student, strengthens discipline, builds confidence, and instills a sense of direction that empowers students to take charge of their own growth journey.”

Ved delivers value across user segments, with the depth of personalisation scaling based on available learning data. Free users receive conversational mentoring, content search and curation, doubt solving, and YouTube SmartReplays, while paid users experience advanced personalised support as Ved references their complete class history, test data, and performance trends to provide guidance calibrated to their individual academic trajectory.

Access to Ved is available directly on the Vedantu App and website through the search bar, a persistent floating icon, and offering a conversational and intuitive experience.

  • LearnList is accessible Free of charge to all App & Website users and provides customised learning support.
  • InstaSolve for doubt resolution is LIVE and Free for all students on the app and website.
  • ScoreBooster is included in Long-Term courses and is LIVE and Free for all online, offline and Test-Series students.
  • LectureLens is LIVE and free for all app and web users and is also available for YouTube sessions on the Vedantu App.

Ved reflects Vedantu’s sustained commitment to delivering mentorship that is patient, personal, and purposeful, combining technology with human-centric guidance. The platform provides each student with a structured, adaptive learning journey, enabling clarity, focus, and measurable progress. The launch of Ved sets a new benchmark in how AI can meaningfully support education, creating lasting impact at scale.

Mahindra University, School of Law and IIAM Sign MoU to Establish Seeding Centre for Peace and Justice on Campus

Hyderabad/Delhi, 13th November 2025: Mahindra University’s School of Law has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation (IIAM) to establish the Seeding Centre for Peace and Justice, which is essentially an Institutional Arbitration and Mediation Centre on its campus.

Mahindra University's School of Law signs MoU with IIAM

The initiative forms part of IIAM’s ‘Gateway to Justice’ (G2J) project, a nationwide initiative that aims to set up these centres at law schools across India. The project’s goal is to enhance access to justice and promote a culture of amicable dispute resolution.

The Mahindra University Seeding Centre for Peace and Justice will serve as a consortium partner of the IIAM G2J project and function as an affiliated centre under IIAM’s online dispute resolution platform, ‘Peacegate’. Through this collaboration, students, faculty, alumni, and the community will have access to real-time dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration, and case management, integrating practice with legal education.

According to Dr Yajulu Medury, Vice Chancellor, Mahindra University, “With a strong focus on interdisciplinary education and experiential learning, our collaboration will enable the exchange of knowledge and broaden their perspectives while preparing them to become industry-ready professionals. The establishment of the “Seeding Centre for Peace and Justice” at Mahindra University marks a significant milestone in experiential legal education in institutional arbitration and mediation. It reflects our commitment to creating a learning ecosystem that goes beyond theoretical understanding. We aim to nurture practical competence and social responsibility by bringing real cases into our education system. We are not only enhancing the professional readiness of our students but also contributing meaningfully to bring accessible justice for the community.”

This JDC will also be complemented by the Mahindra International Dispute Resolution Centre, which will operate as a full-scale institutional ADR facility housed on the university campus. The Mahindra International Dispute Resolution Centre will serve as a training ground for students and young professionals to manage real cases, offering a vital resource to the community.

Anil Xavier, President, Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation (IIAM), said, “Law schools have always been justice training centers and not delivery centers. By establishing these Centers, we are enabling students to undertake real-time work so that by the time they graduate, they are industry-ready and equipped with real-world experience. We aim to transform law schools from mere training grounds into active hubs of justice delivery, where students and young professionals manage real cases, offering a vital resource to the community. This initiative will also benefit the public at large, as they won’t have to go to court for adjudication and dispute resolution—they can instead approach the law schools.”

The centres will host institutional and ad-hoc arbitration and mediation, provide training programmes in accordance with IIAM’s approved schedule, and help cultivate a panel of student, faculty, and professional mediators and arbitrators. The initiative also aims to benefit the broader community by offering accessible dispute resolution beyond traditional courts.

“This MoU is a pathbreaking initiative as it offers our law students professional training, a significant change from the typical simulations or mock exercises. This partnership is a crucial step in bridging the gap between classroom theory and professional practice. The programmes’ focus on mediation advocacy, arbitration advocacy, case management, and adjudication in real-world settings provides students with a distinct readiness advantage, preparing them for the challenges of the legal profession. It is a paradigm shift in law education,” emphasised Dr E.R. Jayram, Dean, School of Law, Mahindra University.

Under the collaboration, Mahindra University and the Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation (IIAM) will organise joint workshops, seminars and research projects, all aimed at further promoting ADR practices.
