She is a director of the company “Shahnaz Hussain Herbals ‘. She is the daughter of “Herbal Queen” Shehnaz Hussain. With the musical drama, Ananda-Eyes of the Healer, Nelofar Currimbhoy ventures into the world of theatre.

Nelofar Currimbhoy, author and daughter of herbal beauty empress, Shanaz Hussain, has penned a narrative that blends emotions, music and spirituality.

The show titled “Ananda – Eyes of The Healer” is a musical drama. It is directed by Muzaffar Ali, choreographed by Shivani Varma and narrated by Kabir Bedi. Together, they lend richness to the art of storytelling.

The 9th Nizam’s participation in the event was much more than mere participation. Nelofer also hails from the top nobility of Hyderabad and her great grandfather, Sir Afsar Ul Mulk was the Commander & Chief of the Hyderabad State Forces of the Asaf Jahi Nizams. Hyderabad is also the birthplace of her mother beauty queen Shehnaz Hussain.

The Play is exceptionally creative and has P.M. Modi’s office requested seats in a sold-out auditorium.

The play, “Ananda-the Eyes of the Healer” is performed in Delhi today with a celeb dinner after party at the iconic Golf Club and it goes on the 27th too. The play is Directed by a celebrated producer of the iconic film “UmraoJaan” including music similar to his historic movie.

The program scheduled from 16th-20th October 2023 is supported and organised by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs Government of Meghalaya. It promises to be a memorable and enriching experience for the youth participants.

Smti. R. Kurbah, IAS and Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills graced the inaugural ceremony as the Chief Guest, which was held at the Convocation Hall, NEHU Campus, Mawkynroh, Shillong. The Chief Guest expressed her enthusiasm for the remarkable potential the state’s youth possess. She encouraged the young participants to be open minded and make the most of this unique opportunity to learn from each other, celebrate their diverse cultures, and develop their life skills for all round development. The presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Conrad K. Sangma, who graces the event as Chief Guest at the District Library Auditorium in Mynthong, Jowai, West Jaintia Hills, along with the esteemed presence of individuals such as Smt. Santa Mary Shylla, MLA, Sutnga Saipung, Shri Wailadmiki Shylla, MLA, Jowai, Shri Lahkmen Rymbui, MLA, Amlarem and Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) Chief Executive Member (CEM) Thombor Shiwat which added a touch of prestige to this significant endeavour. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Meghalaya Shri Conrad K. Sangma said, “I have always maintained that development is incomplete if every citizen and every community in society and part of our state does not move forward with us together, then the development is incomplete. CM-Elevate is a program for entrepreneurship. In the last five years, we have supported 3000 entrepreneurs in different ways. We have a huge workforce. We have projects for communities, for self-help groups, for sports groups and for anybody who wishes to be an entrepreneur. The Cinema Hall scheme is meant to ensure that every district should have one cinema hall, government should not run cinema halls, government must run government not cinema halls, private sector will run cinema halls and government will support. We should have a very good state-of-the-art convention center in every district headquarter.”

Economic empowerment of women is important, the self-help group movement is one of the most powerful ways to economically empower our women.”

On the YESS Meghalaya program, he said, “The government will give support upto Rs 1 lakh to do your activity. Out of the 1155 youths we supported in the first tranche and the first group in the state, Jaintia hills alone has 389 groups got the benefit which means in the whole state Jaintia Hills got the highest support from YESS Meghalaya. Almost Rs 1 crore plus was distributed among these groups.”

Turning to Green Meghalaya program, the Chief Minister said, “Any community, any group, any individual who wishes to protect his or her or their forest cover, Meghalaya government will pay you Rs 15, 000 per hectare to not disturb the forests. We have 40,000 hectares under Protected Areas under the PES program and government has given upto Rs 40 crores as cheque and cash to communities to protect this every year.”

At the program, a total of Total 37 cheques were distributed, Yess- 17, Self-Help Groups (SHGs) -10 and Green Meghalaya-10 while the amount disbursed is Rs 4,90,000 for YESS program, Rs 66,00,000- SHGs, 54,09,058- PES.

I would like to say that they are truly and beautifully blessed to face the challenges. We spend our lives looking at things we don’t see them, when you are differently blessed you will start feeling them, seeing them differently. I also feel that god has a way of blessing you differently, its magical. It’s actually beautiful that because of this cricket match today, I got an opportunity to meet the blind team as well. With my daughter Radha, every day is a new day and you learn something new every day, her sense of humour is super funny, she has a way with the smile, so every day is a learning day, I do end up becoming a kid with her. My mom is a huge Krishna follower and she gave the name, Radha also means happy in Russian, so it means something in both the languages.

Udit Dugar said we are all witnessing the India Vs Pakistan World Cup match on the world’s largest live projected screen. An India, Pakistan match that too in a World Cup is a massive massive event. This is our way to give the fans a large experience.
