KIIT Students Shine at National Kalam STEM Conclave 2025

Gurugram, 07th November, 2025: Students from KIIT World School and KIIT College of Engineering earned top honours at the National Kalam STEM & Quiz Conclave 2025, organised by the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam International Foundation, House of Kalam, Rameswaram.

With the theme “Vision for Space Missions”, the conclave celebrated scientific innovation and the aspirations of Dr. Kalam for a technologically advanced India. The event focused on pioneering fields such as Micro-Electromechanical Systems (MEMS), Nanotechnology, Reusable Aerospace Vehicles, Future Energy Solutions, Remote Sensing, Disaster Management, Communication Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Automation.
The conclave witnessed the presence of eminent dignitaries including Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Union Minister Dr. L. Murugan, Chandrayaan-3 Project Director Dr. P. Veeramuthuvel from ISRO, DRDO Scientist Dilip Babu Vijay Kumar, and Delhi’s Minister for Home & Energy Ashish Sood among others.
Presenting cutting-edge ideas, teams from KIIT College of Engineering showcased innovative projects such as ASL to Speech Sensing Gloves, Welding in Space, and Star Silk. Demonstrating remarkable performance, 12 teams made it to the Top 25 finalists. The team comprising Sanya Ali, Lucky Nimbhoria and Nikhil secured the first position, while Shallu Thakur and Kartik Nimbhoria achieved the third position.
Students of KIIT World School (Classes 6–12) also excelled with their impressive innovations. Their Safe Kavach project bagged the first position, while Smart Kitchen Inventory Management ranked fifth, and the Pill Dispenser project was recognised among the Top 25 merit projects.
Celebrating the achievement, Neelima Kamrah, Registrar of KIIT College of Engineering, said,
“We take pride in the fact that our students are not only advancing in technology but are also driven by innovation and social responsibility. Dr. Kalam envisioned young Indian scientists shaping the nation’s future, and our students have taken a significant step in that direction.”
