Aditya Birla Finance Limited to Raise Up to ₹ 2,000 Crore Through Its Maiden Public Issue of NCDs

Bangalore,26th September 2023Aditya Birla Finance Limited (“ABFL” or “Company”), a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Capital Limited, has announced its first public issue of NCDs for an amount up to ₹ 1,000 crores with an option to retain oversubscription up to ₹ 1,000 crores, aggregating up to 2,00,00,000 NCDs for an aggregate amount of up to ₹ 2,000 crores, pursuant to a prospectus dated September 21, 2023 (“Prospectus”) filed by the Company with the RoC and the Stock Exchanges.

The NCDs proposed to be issued pursuant to this Issue have been rated IND AAA Outlook Stable and rated [ICRA] AAA (Stable) by India Ratings & Research Private Limited and by ICRA Limited, respectively. The ratings are valid and will continue to be valid for the life of the instrument unless withdrawn or reviewed. Instruments with this rating are considered to have the highest degree of safety regarding timely servicing of financial obligations and carry the lowest credit risk.

Trust Investment Advisors Private Limited, A.K. Capital Services Limited, JM Financial Limited, and Nuvama Wealth Management Limited (formerly known as Edelweiss Securities Limited) are the lead managers to the Issue.

 The Issue will open on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, and close on Thursday, October 12, 2023, with an option of early closure of the Issue on such date, as may be decided by the Board of Directors of the Company or a duly authorized committee thereof, subject to compliance with applicable laws. Allotment of NCDs shall be made, in consultation with the Designated Stock Exchange, on a date priority basis, i.e., a first-come, first-serve basis, based on the date of upload of each application into the Electronic Book with Stock Exchanges, in each Portion subject to the Allocation Ratio specified in the prospectus. However, from the date of oversubscription and thereafter, the allotment will be on proportionate basis as detailed in the Prospectus.

The Company proposes to utilise at least 75% of the net proceeds of the Issue towards onward lending, financing and repayment of interest and principal of existing borrowings of the Company and a maximum of up to 25% of the net proceeds towards general corporate purposes.

ACCA hosts Virtual Careers Fair, connecting finance professionals with prominent employers for 2,200 job opportunities

Mumbai, 26th September 2023The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) recently concluded its Virtual Careers Fair in India, providing a platform for accounting and finance professionals to connect with leading employers in the country. The event witnessed the participation of 3,121 visitors including students, affiliates and members demonstrating a strong interest and demand for career opportunities in the finance industry.

About 50 employers participated in the fair, including renowned organizations such as DuPont, Goldman Sachs, HPE, Reliance, Cognizant, AccSource, QX Global, Ford, Mazars, Oremus Corp, Q4 Accounting, GT Indus and many more. Notably, this year’s fair also marked the participation of an international employer from Canada for the first time, further expanding the reach of the event globally.

“PLEXCONNECT 2023 was a great success for the plastics industry, and despite being our maiden venture into organizing our very own international scale trade fair for plastics exports, the exhibition generated business inquiries valued at over $16.1 million, while deals valued at about $5.3 million were finalised during the 3 days. Several foreign country delegations expressed their interest in continuing their business with India and the exhibition received international interest with over 80 Indian embassies and high commissions promoting the exhibition,” said Hemant Minocha, Chairman, PLEXCONCIL.

Amazon miniTV presents TVF’s ‘Who’s Your Gynac…

Mumbai,26th September 2023Amazon miniTV – Amazon’s free video streaming service is ready to add another title to its diverse content library. Offering a dose of laughter served with a side of myth busters, the streaming service today ‘prescribed’ a light-hearted web series – ‘Who’s Your Gynac?’. The show will break down the whole journey of a fresher OB-GYN, who is trying to strike a balance both professionally and personally. Produced and created by The Viral Fever (TVF), the show will see Saba Azad, Karishma Singh and Aaron Arjun Koul in pivotal roles.

The trailer showcases the life of Dr. Vidushi (Saba), who is “an OB without a baby”, but is ready to take on the world with her two best friends Swara (Karishma) and Mehr (Aaron). This trio is poles apart from each other; while Swara is all set to embrace motherhood and on the hunt for an experienced OB-GYN to deliver her baby, Vidushi is excited to deliver her best friend’s baby, who isn’t exactly on-board with that! Mehr on the other hand is a happy-go-lucky person and is continuously encouraging Vidushi to push the envelope in her personal life. Whether Swara will trust Vidushi with her delivery or not is something we will find out on 28th September exclusively on Amazon miniTV.
