11th September 2023 New Delhi: The Ministry of Media, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is hosting a three-day event in conjunction with the G20 Leader’s Summit. The exhibit, called Media Oasis, is being organized from the 9th to 11th September in New Delhi. The event aims to provide an immersive and interactive experience of Saudi Arabia’s leading projects in the sectors of tourism, entertainment, technology, culture, and sports. The overarching theme of the exhibit is Vision 2030, an initiative by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aimed at the diversification of the country economically, socially, and culturally.

Organised by the Saudi Ministry of Media, the event showcases the initiatives being taken by the Saudi Ministry of Culture, Invest Saudi, Saudi Ministry of Sports, Saudi Ministry of Energy, Red Sea Global, SDAIA, FII Institute, Royal Institute of Traditional Arts Konoz, CGC.

Media Oasis is expected to be attended by a host of ministers and senior Saudi officials. The exhibition is taking place at the Oberoi Hotel, New Delhi.

The event is being held in parallel to the HRH Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s visit to New Delhi, India for the G20 Leaders’ Summit.

” G20 Summit under India’s Presidency has delivered a fair and a candid vision to the members reminding them about global responsibility to work for a sustainable and equitable growth and navigate the headwinds including cost of living crisis in several major economies and supply chain disruptions because of geo-political reasons,” ASSOCHAM Secretary General Mr Deepak Sood said.

He said the leaders’ declaration has taken particular note of priorities emphasized by India with regard to issues like global financial stability , integration of the MSMEs into international trade and adoption of modern taxation systems across the world.

‘‘ India’s push towards open source digital public infrastructure has been well accepted and would create immense opportunities for the new age entrepreneurs and the startups in innovative businesses like artificial intelligence”, he said.

Mr Sood said hosting the G20 Summit has strengthened India’s economic and political heft across major powers of the world. The meeting has not only provided a global platform for the leaders to exchange ideas of common interest but also an opportunity for India to add dynamism to bilateral relationships with the influential economies of the world. ”The Prime Minister’s bilateral meetings with top leaders including US President Joe Biden, would go a long way in strengthening economic and strategic engagement across the world”, the chamber Secretary General said.

Hyderabad, 11th September 2023: WWE returns to Indian shores with a live event for the first time since 2017 with the WWE Superstar Spectacle at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.

WWE Superstar Spectacle also marks the return of arguably the biggest WWE Superstar of his generation, John Cena, who has come to India to perform for the first time ever. The thirteen-time WWE World Champion met Rajesh Kaul, Chief Revenue Officer – Distribution & International Business and Head – Sports Business, Sony Pictures Networks India in Hyderabad ahead of the sold-out show. Cena and Rajesh Kaul interacted about WWE Indian fans, Cena’s return to the ring and his first visit to India with WWE.

Cena also met celebrated actor and South Superstar, Karthi who posed for pictures together ahead of the show. Karthi was also seen recently filming a secret project with WWE Tag Team Kevin Owens and Sami Zayne.

Kolkata, 11th September 2023: The cast of Yaariyan 2, Divya Khosla and Yash Dasgupta visited the iLEAD campus to interact with students and promote their upcoming film which is slated to be released on October 20, 2023.

While interacting with students the actors shared information regarding the movie plot. They shared some fun moments they had during the shooting. One of the songs called “Sanson Ki Mala Pe Simroon Main Tera Naam” from the upcoming film was screened at the event. Students of the college performed for the guests and the lead actor, Divya Khosla Kumar shook a leg with the students. She was overjoyed to see the response at iLEAD so was Yash, her co-star in the film, who is also a very popular face in Bengal.

The movie “Yaariyan 2”, directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru is based on a journey of three cousins and their self-discovery in Mumbai, India. The film is a perfect portrayal of the theme of friendship, love and relationships between siblings.

Jaipur, 11th September 2023: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) set the Guinness World Record for conducting the Largest Accounting Lesson ever held in a single location. Held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the Mega Event titled ‘Career in Accounting & Finance for Youth (CAFY) and Super Mega Career Counseling Programme- Bhavishya ki Raah’ left an indelible mark on the enthusiastic young minds of India. Bengaluru, 11 September 2023: Tata Motors, India’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, today announced the delivery of 181 Winger veterinary vans to the Government of Odisha. The vehicles were flagged off by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik, along with delegates from the Government of Odisha and Tata Motors. The specially customised Tata Winger will be utilised as veterinary vans by Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Government of Odisha. Tata Motors emerged as the top bidder, as per the terms and conditions of the Government body, and delivered the fleet of fully-built Winger veterinary vans equipped with state-of-the-art features. The e-bidding process was carried out through the Government e-marketplace.

Bengaluru, 9th September 2023: An interactive session on “Indian Space Program and Chandrayaan Missions”, featuring Dr. P.G. Diwakar, ISRO Chair Professor and Former Scientific Secretary of ISRO, was hosted at the SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed-to-be-University, Bengaluru Campus. In the session, the esteemed guest delved into the realm of Chandrayan missions and the Indian Space Program, enlightening the session with his rich and intriguing insights about space exploration.

Dr. P.G. Diwakar, a PhD in Participatory Geomatics, is currently the ISRO Chair Professor at the National Institute of Advanced Studies, IISc Campus Bengaluru, and is a former distinguished scientist from ISRO, DOS (Department of Space). In his illustrious career, he has served in various capacities at the ISRO, and made significant contributions in Diverse National Missions; Web Technologies And GeoPortals; Image Processing solutions and Software Design And Development – Geospatial Applications.

In his stint at ISRO, he has accomplished some significant achievements like design, development and deployment of a unique and the only Geoportal of National reckoning, “THE BHUVAN GEOPORTAL”. Bhuvan is a prominent National Geospatial Platform today.

One of his recent applications enabled on the platform “Jal Shakti Abhiyan ” served more than 1,000 blocks in the country for ground water recharge structures taken up in distress districts to rejuvenate groundwater aquifers in the country. He also administered an ISRO Platform on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data analytics that uses Machine learning and Deep Learning techniques for problem solving.

Dr. P.G. Diwakar has also represented ISRO in a number of capacities at the International level in forums such as Committee of Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS), International Charter “Space and Major Disasters”. UN-ESCAP, APRSAF – JAXA, etc. He has also received many national and international accolades and awards, and has authored more than 100 publications/technical reports.

During the session Dr. P.G. Diwakar emphasised on how India has taken giant strides in space exploration over the last few years through its successive Chandrayan or moon missions, the Mangalyaan or the Mars mission, and the recent Adita L1, our maiden Solar Mission. At the end of the session, an interactive Q&A was organised, where the special guest patiently answered questions asked by students and space enthusiasts.

Sharing his insights on space exploration at the event, Dr. P.G. Diwakar said, “All the planetary systems in our Solar System have perfect resonance with each other. Any one of these planets moving away from the orbit can create a problem on earth. We are all gelling together with the Sun as part of the Solar System. If one fine day, the Moon gets completely away from the Earth, it will have a huge impact on our Gravitational forces. Therefore, the moon is very important for us.”
