Sangeeta Odwani Breathes Life into the Role of Shurpanakha in Sony Entertainment Television Show ‘Shrimad Ramayan’

Sony Entertainment Television’s divine saga, ‘Shrimad Ramayan’, has been following the journey of Lord Ram, Mata Sita, and Lakshman during their Vanvas. The recent introduction of Lord Hanuman to the narrative has further added a new dimension to the story. Moving to a pivotal chapter of the show, viewers will nowsee Lanka King Ravan’s sister, Shurpanakha, in the forefront, who will lay the foundation for the larger fight between Lord Ram and Lanka King Ravan. Playing this complex character will be Sangeeta Odwani, who has played many diverse roles in her stint as an actor.

During a stroll in the forest, Shurpanakha notices Lord Ram, who has immersed himself in deep meditation. Smitten by his demeanour, she makes an advance towards him but he firmly states his devotion towards his beloved wife, Mata Sita,and rejects Shurpanakha’s advances. In the wrath of Shurpanakha’s rage, frustration, and jealousy, Lakshman intervenes, but the consequences of his actions are unknown to him.

Gopal Snacks Limited IPO debuts on the stock exchange

Shares of Rajkot-based Namkeen Maker Gopal Snacks Limited made its debut on the exchange.

The scrip listed Rs 350 per share on BSE and Rs 351 per share on NSE. The company’s share price closed at Rs 360.05 per share on the BSE and at Rs 365.90 per share on the NSE.

The Initial Public Offering of Gopal Snacks Limited was subscribed 9.02 times on the final day of bidding. Qualified Institutional Buyer Portion and Non-Institutional Investors Portion was subscribed 17.50 times and 9.50 times respectively. Employee Portion was subscribed 6.87 times, whereas, Retail Portion and 4.01 times.

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) Secures landmark ∼$100 Million program in cybersecurity

The project entails designing a sophisticated cybersecurity system and establishing a state-of-the-art, fully equipped, Cyber security and Cybercrime prevention Centre to address Cybercrime Incidents and Investigations by leveraging AI and Digital Forensic tools. The program also encompasses the following:

A Digital Threat Analytics Centre (DTAC) paired with a Centre of Excellence (COE) that will equip the forensic team with cutting edge digital forensic tools including Deepfake detection, Mobile Malware forensics, IoT investigation, Network forensics, object detection supporting crypto & blockchain, Hardware & Embedded forensics, drone forensics, social media forensics, image enhancement, voice analysis labs, IMEI/CDR analysis, CCTV acquisition tools and computer forensics to streamline crime scene management, reduce timelines and improve the efficiency of cybercrime investigations.

A Central Emergency Response Team (CERT) to deal with incident response and investigation based on advanced cyber threat intelligence and analytics like APT detection and data breach, adversary intelligence from darknet, advanced malware analysis, proactive threat hunting and red teaming.

State-of-the-art Security Operations Centre (SOC) fortified by AI & ML technologies with a skilled cyber team to protect critical infrastructure. SOC handles Endpoint Detection & Response, SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, ZTNA, CASB, DLP, NAC, DNS Security, IDAM, and PAM solutions.

The integration of Smart World and Communication within LTTS has significantly amplified its capabilities, enabling the company to provide advanced engineering solutions for public cyber safety leveraging experience of setting up 25+ command centers.
