The Bear House Partners with Kapture CX to Enhance Customer Support

India, September 2024: The Bear House – one of India’s leading contemporary menswear brands that has evolved into a thriving e-commerce powerhouse, has recently onboarded Kapture CX, a leading Gen AI powered customer support automation platform. The brand aims to leverage Kapture’s omnichannel capabilities, superior user interface and ease of ticket management to improve their customers’ experience.

The Bear House has elevated menswear essentials, combining premium quality and urban luxe aesthetics. In a short span, it has recorded a whopping 175% sales growth in 2023-2024. To accelerate its growth trajectory, the brand has integrated Kapture CX to overcome the shortcomings of third-party customer support including inadequate access and low visibility into the past tickets and customer history; and a cumbersome and inefficient operation.

Delighted with the integration, Harsh Somaiya, Co-founder of The Bear House said, “At The Bear House, our commitment has always been to provide exceptional experiences to our customers, both through our products and our service. By partnering with Kapture CX, we’re taking a significant step forward in ensuring that our customer support is as elevated and seamless as our brand. The intuitive design and robust capabilities of Kapture CX will allow us to better manage our customer interactions, ensuring that every query is handled with the attention and efficiency it deserves. We’re excited about the positive impact this will have on our customer relationships and our continued growth.”

As The Bear House moves on an international and domestic expansion spree, it will continue to witness a surge in customer interactions, queries and concerns across multiple touchpoints. Kapture CX’s intuitive user interface can prove to be a game-changer in enhancing its usability significantly as compared to other conventional support systems.

Commenting on The Bear House’s decision to integrate Kapture CX, Gaurav Juneja, CRO of Kapture CX, said, ‘We’re proud to add The Bear House, a fast-growing brand, to our portfolio of successful retail and eCommerce partnerships. Our experience in transforming customer support for leading brands enabled us to streamline and automate their operations with unmatched speed. What typically takes 30 days or more, we accomplished in less than a week—setting a new gold standard and exceeding their expectations. We deeply value their trust and are committed to delivering an exceptional experience that supports their continued growth.”

Since The Bear House received customer feedback and queries through multiple communication channels, it understood the need to implement a support system that is not only automated but excels in omnichannel capabilities covering social media, inbound communications and potentially all other channels all at a unified dashboard.

In addition, Kapture CX focuses on simplifying the ticket management process, which also led to the company’s decision to switch from its third-party support system. Furthermore, its friendly UX makes it easier to train new agents, facilitating quicker onboarding and adaptation.

The Bear House is dedicated to innovating the menswear category, considering the customers’ lifestyles, preferences and needs. Kapture CX’s expedited implementation process, enhanced by substantial support and personalised demonstrations has delivered a highly satisfactory response.

WinZO Launches BOSS: India’s Largest Gaming Talent Mentorship Program

Mumbai, 3rd September 2024: WinZO, India’s largest social gaming and interactive entertainment platform, has launched its flagship talent mentorship program, Battle of Super Scholars (BOSS). This initiative, in partnership with India’s top six B-schools— IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, FMS Delhi, and ISB—aims to mentor the nation’s brightest minds, empowering them to drive India’s leadership in tech innovation, boost IP export-led growth of the sector, and firmly place India among the top global gaming markets.

Through the BOSS program, WinZO aims to inspire young product and tech talent to pursue entrepreneurship in gaming and solve the frontier challenges facing the sector. In the process, India’s gaming sector can become a $60 billion opportunity and increase employment by 20 times, resulting in creation of over 2 million jobs. BOSS is cultivating and investing in India’s talent as the country’s best-in-class digital infrastructure and rich stories, combined with its talented workforce, have the potential to make India the leading global gaming market by revenue share. The Hon’ble PM also highlighted India’s heritage, skilled workforce, and digital infrastructure as a means to make India the leading global gaming market in his 78th Independence Day address.

The BOSS program saw participation from about 2,000 students in teams of two, providing them with mentorship from gaming industry experts. The program’s projects focused on innovating traditional gaming formats, exploring new monetisation models in global gaming, and disrupting the global market through expansion of Indian companies. Participants either developed gaming products for the international market or conducted comprehensive market entry studies for WinZO’s strategic expansion, thus strengthening India’s gaming industry exports. Winners received a scholarship worth Rs 50 lakh and an option to join WinZO to deepen their interest and expertise in gaming. This initiative underscores WinZO’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among India’s brightest minds, aiming to build consumer tech products that are “Made in India, for the World.”

“At WinZO, we envision a future where India creates a globally competitive consumer tech company and exports Indian intellectual property to the international market. We believe that skilled talent capable of solving real-world challenges is essential for the growth of India’s technology ecosystem to go global. The concept of WinZO BOSS was born from this belief. Through this platform, we aim to tap into and invest in the top talent from India’s premier institutes early on, equipping them to tackle business challenges head-on. We are confident that these young minds will bring forward innovative ideas that will form the foundation of India’s burgeoning sectors,” said Paavan Nanda, co-founder, WinZO. “Our commitment to showcasing Indian entrepreneurship, both domestically and globally, remains steadfast. India has all the right ingredients to become a global tech powerhouse. The students we see now will revolutionize the gaming industry, shaping its future not just in India, but also across the globe,” he added.

“We’re incredibly thankful to WinZO for providing us with this real-world experience of building in the gaming space. Our mentors helped us think outside the box, pushing us to delve deeper into the problem and offer innovative solutions. This drive led us to quickly develop a product prototype that serves as a strong proxy for a real app,” said Sanket Gaggar and Snehanshu Mishra, winners of the program and students of IIM Bangalore.

The global online gaming market has surpassed $300 billion, with a user base exceeding 3.3 billion. India, with approximately 600 million users, constitutes 20% of this user base and accounts for 17% of global gaming app downloads. However, India’s share of the global market remains disproportionately low. In closing the gap between its market share with its user base, India could potentially capture a $60 billion opportunity by 2034. Currently, India’s 1400 gaming companies using sophisticated technologies like AI, blockchain and VR have generated over a lakh skilled jobs and have increased the sector’s market size to $3 billion.

WinZO’s philosophy has always been to democratise entrepreneurship in India. The company has also collaborated with over 100 game developers, enabling them to reach 200 million users, primarily non-English speakers who access the platform in over 14 languages, and to publish their games for international markets, with WinZO’s recent expansion to Brazil. The company recently entered into a strategic partnership with Fundação Getulio Vargas Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo (FGV EAESP), Brazil’s premier educational institution, for research projects and to recruit local talent for the rapid expansion of India’s gaming innovation in the LATAM market. It has also conducted two editions of Bharat Tech Triumph to pick the best gaming innovators for showcase and expansion in global markets on prestigious forums like Game Developer Conference (GDC), in San Francisco and Gamescom in LATAM.

WinZO continues to work closely with academic institutions to develop India’s talent for solving global tech challenges and conducting research in areas of strategic importance. The company has previously partnered with the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi (IIT-D), Delhi Technological University (DTU), Netaji Subhash University of Technology (NSUT), and IIIT-D to develop open-source technology to protect internet users against cyber actors.

UNFPA Calls on Private Sector to Invest in Women’s Reproductive Health for Economic Gains

women enterprise

Bangkok/New Delhi, 3 September 2024: Across Asia and the Pacific, millions of women are employed in the garment and manufacturing sectors – the majority are young, often migrants, and from low-income families with limited access to healthcare and education. These issues are compounded by a lack of access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services, which directly affects their health, job retention, and productivity.

As the world marks Sexual Health Day, UNFPA Asia-Pacific calls on businesses across the region to prioritize investments in sexual and reproductive health and rights, particularly in labour-intensive sectors such as garment and textile factories. Evidence shows that supporting women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights in the workplace can drive significant economic and productivity gains, while fostering healthier, more engaged employees.

UNFPA’s Return on Investment Tool (ROI-T) provides businesses with a concrete framework to assess the financial returns of investing in sexual and reproductive health and rights in the workplace. The tool demonstrates that workplace programmes addressing women’s health issues – including menstrual health, anemia and sexual and reproductive health – offer health improvements and significant cost savings for companies.

UNFPA has trained 75 private sector companies in the Philippines to provide family planning sessions for female employees, developed awareness-raising resources for trainers on gender-based violence in South Asia’s largest lingerie manufacturing factory based in Sri Lanka, and is collaborating with garment manufacturers in Bangladesh to ensure workers have access to essential health services.

“Businesses that invest in the health and well-being of their employees are positioning themselves for long-term economic success. The data is clear: when women’s sexual and reproductive health needs are met, companies reap substantial financial rewards, creating a win-win scenario for both businesses and their employees, with improved productivity, reduced absenteeism and staff turnover, and overall employees’ job satisfaction,” said Mr. Pio Smith, UNFPA Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific.

One compelling example of the economic and social benefits of investments in sexual and reproductive health and rights is at Shahi Exports, India’s largest apparel manufacturer, where its Project Pravah, a menstrual health initiative, has provided support to the needs of its predominantly female workforce.

The latest case study, ‘The Health and Economic Benefits of Investing in a Menstrual Health Programme in the Workplace,’ was developed to assess the benefits of Project Pravah and, by using the ROI-T, to demonstrate the financial benefits of expanding the project to one additional Shahi factory.

By providing biometric-enabled sanitary pad vending machines and delivering comprehensive awareness training on women’s health issues, Shahi witnessed a 22 per cent increase in the use of sanitary pads and a 15 per cent decrease in women feeling unwell during their menstrual cycle. Based on ROI-T projections, the estimated return should Shahi decide to expand the project to another one of its factories is US$2.90 for every US$1 invested.

“As an employer of over 100,000 employees, 70 per cent of whom are women, Shahi understands the unique health and well-being needs of our workforce. Recognizing the direct impact on personal and professional development, we’ve adopted a systemic and evidence-based approach towards- worker well-being. By collaborating with researchers and global organizations, we have designed and conducted test interventions to scale up programmes that truly address the diverse needs of our employees, with a special focus on women’s health and well-being” said Deepak Rautela, Associate Vice President of Organizational Development at Shahi.

UNFPA’s ROI-T underscores the economic viability of such programmes and serves as a tool for companies to calculate their own potential benefits from similar investments.

“Working in partnership with UNFPA, we have been able to design programmes that prioritize the health and well-being of women in the workforce, making a measurable difference in employee well-being, especially women’s health, and businesses benefits from such investments,” added Lavanya Garg, Director, Partnerships and People Operations from Good Business Lab.

As the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency, UNFPA advocates for companies across the region, and beyond, to take action by leveraging the use of the ROI-T and adopting sexual and reproductive health and rights programmes that can generate lasting health and economic benefits.

New Delhi, September 3, 2024: Omaxe Group, one of India’s leading real estate developers, has announced the launch of their project, ‘The Omaxe State,’ which will be India’s first integrated 5-in-1 destination for sports, retail, hospitality, food, and culture. Spanning over 50.4 acres in Dwarka Sector 19-B, New Delhi, the project is being developed in partnership with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) under a public-private partnership (PPP) model, with an investment over Rs 2500 crore.

Aerial View

Delhi, the capital of India with a population of more than 3.3 crore, has long awaited a World-Class Cricket Stadium. The 2nd most populated city of the world, Delhi has missed hosting major World Cup and IPL matches since India vs. England World Cup semi-final played in 1987. The Omaxe State will feature a World-Class, Modern ICC and FIFA-standard International Cricket-cum-Football Stadium with a seating capacity of over 30000, as well as an International Multi-Sports Indoor Stadium that can accommodate 2000 spectators.

The project follows in the footsteps of iconic landmarks such as Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, Accor Arena in Paris, Singapore Sports Hub, and Melbourne Olympic Park to revolutionize India’s sporting and leisure landscape. This groundbreaking project will fill the void and aims to bring world-class sporting events back to Delhi, offering an unparalleled experience and giving Delhiites an opportunity to play, shop, eat and entertain the way world does. The above-mentioned integrated projects are among the most successful projects in their respective countries or cities and contributed to their growth. These are preferred destinations for locals and tourists for shopping, dining, sports, and entertainment needs.

Taking India to the global map, a new state is being developed: The Omaxe State, featuring 5 districts – The Sports District, The Shopping District, The Hospitality District, The Food District, and The Social District. The Omaxe State aims to blend commercial, sports, hospitality, social, and dining facilities into a unique experience in the heart of India.

A highlight of this development is the Food District, inspired by London’s Covent Garden and Carnaby Street. It will be India’s largest F&B space, spanning over 5 lakh square feet, featuring more than 40 fine dining restaurants, night and day clubs, sports bars, three drive-throughs, a large food court, rooftop restaurants, food kiosks, food trucks and banquet facilities.

Adding to the allure, the project features India’s first Air-Conditioned High-Street retail area, with shop fronts extending over 4.2 km, making it the largest private commercial development in Delhi. With 75% of the retail space located on the ground floor, it leverages the superior performance of ground-floor retail. The first floor offers additional retail spaces, a food court, and a five-screen multiplex, all designed with shop heights of 18 and 36 feet to provide a grandeur luxury shopping experience.
