Coke Zero and Swiggy Instamart Deliver Instant Refreshment with Tiger Shroff

Bengaluru, 6 May 2025: Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, the no calorie beverage, has partnered with Swiggy Instamart to deliver uninterrupted refreshment anywhere. Bringing back popular Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff as face of the campaign, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar reinforces its commitment to delivering an uncompromised taste experience in just 10 minutes.

Anchored in the tagline “Life Interrupted, Taste Uninterrupted,” the campaign comes to life through two engaging films starring the actor. In the first, a horror movie night is disrupted by the relentless slurping of an empty Coke glass—until Tiger swiftly orders Coke Zero via Swiggy Instamart, restoring the moment with an ice-cold sip. The second film sees Tiger’s romantic proposal nearly ruined by his brother’s loud interruptions. Thinking on his feet, he orders Coke Zero, and within minutes, the refreshing drink arrives—sealing the moment. Each film humorously captures life’s everyday interruptions and how Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, delivered instantly via Swiggy Instamart, ensures that taste remains uninterrupted, no matter the moment.

Karthik Subramanian, Sr. Director, Coca-Cola TM, said, “Today’s consumers are increasingly seeking choices in beverages with low / no calories. Coca-Cola Zero Sugar offers the same refreshing and uplifting experience of Coca-Cola, with zero sugar. Our collaboration with Swiggy Instamart takes this step further, ensuring that consumers can order & enjoy Coke Zero delivered to them in minutes. This campaign is all about great taste, convenience, and enjoyment in every moment.”

Abhishek Gupta, Chief Customer Officer, Coca-Cola India said, “Quick commerce is becoming staple among modern consumers as they seek convenience and instant gratification. With Coke Zero we partner with Swiggy to build the diets & lights category on quick commerce, redefining the way people enjoy their favorite beverages, ensuring that great taste and quick delivery go hand in hand.”

Hari Kumar Gopinatha, SVP, Chief Business Officer, Swiggy Instamart, said, “At Instamart, we’re always excited to bring the most innovative products to consumers, keeping pace with their evolving preferences. Coke Zero has been leading the way in delivering great taste with zero sugar, and we’re happy to make it instantly accessible through Instamart. With our seamless 10-minute delivery, consumers can enjoy their favorite drink without the extra calories—or the wait.”

Speaking about the campaign, creatives Sanket Audhi and Javaad Ahmed from Talented said, “Quick commerce is like adding items to your cart at the speed of thought, a Coke Zero and a tripod might not make sense together, but the beauty lies in that spontaneity. Having worked extensively on quick commerce brands, we knew bringing Coke Zero into everyday moments needed an outright playful twist. And with Ryan Mendonca’s hilarious direction, the chaos of an almost-empty glass has never been more entertaining – because life doesn’t pause for the perfect pairing.”

The campaign will be amplified across digital platforms and social media, ensuring maximum reach and engagement. By combining Coca-Cola Zero Sugar’s bold taste with Swiggy Instamart’s rapid delivery, the collaboration makes uninterrupted refreshment more accessible than ever.

IIT Roorkee Develops Personalized Heat Stress Warning System for Urban Resilience

IIT Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India  May 6, 2025 : The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has developed a pioneering personalized Heat Stress Risk Index Forecast (HSRIF) system aimed at strengthening urban climate resilience and public health preparedness. This innovative system leverages the Universal Thermal Climate Index (UTCI) in combination with individual vulnerability and exposure data to deliver tailored early warnings for heat stress. Capable of forecasting risks up to five days in advance, it integrates high-resolution meteorological inputs with personal attributes such as age, health conditions, and daily routines.

By harnessing real-time environmental data and advanced predictive modeling, the system empowers individuals, particularly those in heat-prone urban environments, to make informed decisions and take timely protective measures. This personalized approach addresses a critical gap in climate adaptation strategies, aligning with global initiatives focused on early warning systems and climate-responsive urban planning.

Urban populations , particularly those in densely populated cities with minimal green infrastructure , are acutely vulnerable to extreme heat. This innovative system holds the potential to reduce the public health burden from rising temperatures. By offering proactive, data-driven solutions , the research fills a critical gap in climate adaptation planning and directly supports the United Nations’ “Early Warnings for All” initiative . It underscores IIT Roorkee’s leadership in advancing climate resilience and public health protection for urban environments.

The authors , Kshitij Kacker (PMRF Scholar) , Prof. Mahua Mukherjee , from the Department of Architecture and Planning, and Prof. Piyush Srivastava, from the Center of Excellence in Disaster Mitigation and Management spearheaded this cross-disciplinary research. A noted expert in urban morphology and climate resilience , Prof. Mukherjee and Prof. Srivastava guided the project through its conceptualization, investigation, validation, visualization, and review phases .

Prof. Mahua Mukherjee , Author, said, “This system is a step toward empowering individuals and urban communities to adapt to climate challenges. Personalized alerts enable timely, informed decisions that can save lives and enhance resilience to heat stress.”

Prof. Kamal Kishore Pant , Director, IIT Roorkee, mentioned, “IIT Roorkee is committed to research that addresses real-world challenges. This work reflects our mission to contribute tangible, innovative solutions that impact global sustainability and urban well-being.”

This publication represents a significant milestone in IIT Roorkee’s mission to deliver research-driven solutions for global sustainability , with a strong emphasis on urban adaptation and community-centered innovation .

Palomar Health Salutes Nurses in Celebration of National Nurses Week

SAN DIEGO, CA — May 6, 2025 — As California’s largest public healthcare district, Palomar Health is proud to recognize its extraordinary team of nurses during National Nurses Week, happening May 6–12, 2025. Nurses are the heart of Palomar Health, providing expert, compassionate care that touches thousands of lives across the region. Their commitment to healing, comforting and promoting health is what brings the organization’s mission to life every single day.

Palomar Health Honors Nurses for National Nurses Week

Palomar Health’s dedicated nurses are central to the health system’s many recent awards and recognitions. The Villas at Poway, Palomar Health’s skilled nursing facility, was recently named a 2025 Best Nursing Home for both short-term and long-term care by U.S. News & World Report, while both of Palomar Health’s medical centers also earned “A” Hospital Safety Grades from The Leapfrog Group. Palomar Health also earned recognition on Newsweek’s 2025 lists of both World’s Best Hospitals and America’s Best-in-State Hospitals. These national recognitions are a testament to the care and compassion Palomar Health’s nurses provide to every patient.

“Our nurses are the cornerstone of Palomar Health’s repeated excellence and recognition as one of the nation’s top healthcare organizations,” said Diane Hansen, president and CEO of Palomar Health. “This Nurses Week we want to recognize the tireless effort our nurses put forth, from their long hours to the compassion they extend to every patient.”

However, the real story of Palomar Health’s nurses is told in the moments that don’t make headlines: the comforting words whispered during late-night rounds, the teamwork in a bustling trauma bay, the fierce advocacy for a patient’s needs and the compassion that lingers long after a hospital stay ends.

Throughout the year, Palomar Health supports its nursing staff with professional development and mentorship programs. Celebrating Nurse’s Week at Palomar Health is about something deeper — recognizing their humanity, honoring their impact and thanking them for all they do to lift others up, even when their own burdens are heavy.

“To every nurse in the Palomar Health family, thank you. Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the compassion you offer and the lives you touch,” added Hansen. “Your strength redefines what’s possible in healthcare, and your heart makes it matter.”
