Hyderabad, Aug 19: Hyderabad is set to become a meeting ground for some of Asia’s most promising women entrepreneurs as TiE Hyderabad hosts the TiE Women Asia Summit 2026 from September 24 to 26.
Bringing together more than 25 TiE chapters across Asia, along with over 100 delegates and 50+ investors and ecosystem leaders, the three-day Summit will go beyond being a conventional women’s conference. It will bring together founders, investors, mentors, entrepreneurs and ecosystem enablers to explore opportunities for learning, collaboration, investment, mentorship, scaling and cross-border growth.
The Summit represents the Asia leg of a global entrepreneurial journey for women founders. The participating entrepreneurs will showcase their ventures, engage with mentors and investors, and compete for an opportunity to advance towards the TiE Women Global Finals.
A sense of anticipation is already building across the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Who will be the women behind Asia’s next big businesses? What game-changing problems are they solving? And how will Hyderabad become the meeting ground where bold ideas find investors, ambitious founders find mentors, and promising ventures find their pathway to the world?
The TiE Women programme, a global flagship initiative of TiE Global, has already created a significant impact, attracting over 11,000 applications from 62 countries, accelerating more than 500 women-led startups, and providing chapter-level mentoring to over 1,000 women entrepreneurs.
The TiE Women initiative is built on six pillars—Learning, Mentoring, Access to Funding, Scalability, Safe Space and Community—giving it a strong business and growth orientation. The Asia Summit, therefore, is designed not merely to celebrate women entrepreneurs but to create meaningful pathways for promising ventures to gain knowledge, visibility, mentorship, investor access and global connections.
Built around four key pillars—Learn, Connect, Compete and Explore—the TiE Women Asia Summit has been designed as an immersive three-day entrepreneurial experience.
The Summit will commence on September 24 with specially curated Entrepreneurship Development Programmes, in collaboration with its Knowledge Partner, Woxsen University. Faculty members and industry experts will lead sessions on a range of contemporary business issues, including financial fundamentals, investor readiness and fundraising, scaling across Asian markets, regional growth strategies, and the practical application of AI to improve productivity and competitiveness.
The second day, September 25, will focus on networking, founder engagement and ecosystem collaboration. The day will culminate in the TiE Women Asia Investor Networking Dinner, hosted by TiE Hyderabad’s Hyderabad Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Collective (HEEC) Partners. The gathering will bring innovative founders and visionary investors together for meaningful conversations, exchange of ideas and potential collaborations.
The spotlight will turn to competition on September 26, with the TiE Women Asia Pitch Competition, the highlight of the Summit.
Women entrepreneurs from TiE chapters across Asia will present their ventures across three physical tracks and one virtual track before distinguished jury panels comprising investors, renowned entrepreneurs and industry experts. In keeping with TiE policy, the jury members do not hold TiE membership.
Beyond the competition, the founders will receive valuable feedback, gain visibility and interact with potential investors and leaders from the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The winners from the four tracks will advance in the TiE Women journey and join winners from other regions, including North America and Europe, on the road to the TiE Women Global Finals, scheduled to be held during the TiE Global Summit (TGS) in Indore from December 13 to 15, 2026.
“TiE Hyderabad is proud to host the TiE Women Asia Summit 2026, bringing together some of Asia’s most promising women entrepreneurs, visionary leaders, investors and ecosystem enablers. This Summit is more than a gathering—it is a platform where ideas connect, collaborations take shape and ambitious ventures find pathways to scale. We look forward to welcoming Asia to Hyderabad and showcasing the city’s vibrant innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem. Through this Summit, we hope to enable women entrepreneurs to move beyond boundaries, access new opportunities and take their enterprises from Asia to the world.”— Murali Kakarla, President, TiE Hyderabad
Elaborating on the larger vision of the initiative, Nandini Aggrwal, Director, TiE Global and a member of the TiE Women Global Leadership Team, said: “The TiE Women Asia Summit is central to the vision and mission of TiE Women, a global flagship initiative of TiE—The Indus Entrepreneurs—to embrace, engage and empower women entrepreneurs across the world, irrespective of the size of their enterprise, origin, standing or background. The Summit is built on the foundation of the six pillars of TiE Women: Learning, Mentoring, Access to Funding, Scalability, Safe Space and Community.
“We aspire to be a transformative force in the entrepreneurial landscape, empowering women leaders not only to envision but also to realise their business aspirations through resilience, knowledge and action. Our larger objective is to help women entrepreneurs build innovative solutions, create meaningful impact and contribute to society through the power of entrepreneurship.”
The TiE Women programme is led by TiE Global in collaboration with participating TiE chapters. Following a rigorous shortlisting and screening process, selected women founders participate in masterclasses and mentoring sessions designed to strengthen their businesses and prepare them for the next stage of growth and competition.
The participating chapters conduct their Chapter Finals, with winners advancing to the TiE Women Asia Regional Finals, where they compete alongside some of the most promising women entrepreneurs from across the region.
The Summit will conclude with an opportunity for participants to experience Hyderabad beyond the conference rooms. A specially curated exploration of the city will showcase its thriving innovation ecosystem, iconic heritage landmarks, vibrant culture and authentic local experiences.
“Where Asia’s women entrepreneurs don’t just come together—they compete, connect, collaborate and scale towards the world.”
The TiE Women Asia Summit 2026 reflects TiE’s commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs through mentorship, education, networking, funding access and global connections. By bringing together the power of knowledge with the power of action, the Summit seeks to create an environment where ambitious founders can learn, connect, compete and discover new pathways for growth.
As Hyderabad prepares to welcome women entrepreneurs from across Asia, the Summit promises to create an important platform for a question that is increasingly relevant to the entrepreneurial world:
Who is building Asia’s next generation of businesses—and could their journey to the world begin in Hyderabad?
