Godrej Enterprises Group has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal with an overall score of 82, placing the company among the top 5% of companies assessed worldwide for their sustainability performance. The recognition reflects the company’s enterprise-wide approach to embedding sustainable practices across its operations, manufacturing, governance and supply chain.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading business sustainability assessment platforms, evaluating organisations across Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement based on the maturity of their ESG management systems, implementation, and reporting.

The EcoVadis assessment recognised Godrej Enterprises Group’s progress in strengthening ESG performance across all four pillars.
Under Environment, Godrej Enterprises Group the assessment endorsed its exemplary and comprehensive Environment Policy for its depth and coverage along with strong progress in energy and carbon productivity improvement, advancement in water-positive operations, improved water use efficiency, achievement of zero waste to landfill, strengthened circular economy initiatives across its manufacturing facilities and scaled-up renewable energy adoption.
For Labour & Human Rights, the assessment recognised initiatives focused on employee wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, occupational health and safety, continuous learning and capability development, supported by stronger management systems and workforce reporting.
In Ethics, the Group strengthened its governance framework through comprehensive policies on anti-corruption, fraud prevention, conflict of interest, whistleblower protection and information security, supported by enhanced compliance mechanisms and enterprise-wide governance processes.
Under Sustainable Procurement, Godrej Enterprises Group expanded its Green Procurement Programme by integrating ESG considerations into supplier engagement and responsible sourcing practices. The Group continues to work with suppliers certified under recognised sustainability frameworks such as GreenCo, EcoVadis, Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and ZED to strengthen lower-carbon and more resilient value chains.
The assessment recognised Godrej Enterprises Group’s robust ESG governance and adoption of quantified sustainability ambitions. It also acknowledged the company’s advanced reporting practices, including alignment with globally recognised frameworks and externally assured sustainability disclosures.
