Bangalore 15th May 2014: To celebrate International Museum Day (IMD) and raise awareness about the fact that museums are an important means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures, and development of mutual understanding, cooperation, and peace among peoples, The Indian Music Experience Museum (IME) is organizing the following events at its premises:

| 2 PM to 3 PM | Konnakol and Instrument-Making | A Workshop for Children introducing them to the types of instruments while and teaching them the basics of Konnakol |
| 4 PM to 6 PM | Open Stage – Open Mic @ IME | All formats including music, spoken word, and comedy |
| 6.30 PM to 7.30 PM | Strung Together – Storytelling | A Storytelling Session by Vikam Sridhar |
