April 01, 2023, Mumbai: Insecticides India Ltd. (IIL) has been awarded a Gold award for FY 2018-19 and a Silver award for FY 2019-20 in the one-star exports house category at the EXPORTS Excellence Awards. The company received the award at the ‘Exports Excellence Awards held in Mumbai recently to promote, motivate, and reward the best-performing exporters from the Western Area. The company offers a wide array of products ranging from insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides to plant growth regulators depending on the diverse needs of the crops.
The event was organized by the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) in Mumbai. Ms. Anupriya Patel, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India. presented the award to Mr. Rajesh Aggarwal, MD, IIL, and Mr. Shrikant Satwe, Head of International Business.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Anupriya Patel, MoS, Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India said, “The Prime Minister believes that every district in India has great potential, equal to a single country in the globe. Why not emphasize the phrase ‘Voice for local and local becomes global’ and the unrealized export potential? Exporters must concentrate on expanding their export markets and diversifying their export sources. We are developing a program called ‘District as Export Hub’ for this.”
