Prajodh Rajan is an education entrepreneur who enjoys an enviable reputation in the industry, for his pioneering efforts in early childhood education in the country, besides creating a fertile ecosystem for entrepreneurship in the education sector. He is responsible for guiding the strategic direction and growth of Lighthouse Learning (formerly EuroKids International Group). Under his leadership, EuroKids International Group grew from two Pre-Schools in 2001 to a network of 1,200+ Pre-Schools in over 360 cities. The Group also added over 38 K-12 schools across multiple brands in its journey till date. His continued focus in providing quality education has resulted in EuroKids winning over 30 awards including ‘Best Education Brands’ and ‘Power Brand’ in the pre-school category. His ‘Child First’ philosophy and constant strive to innovate has resulted in creating many firsts in early childhood education, including the latest curriculum powered with Mindful Learning practices and child-friendly furniture range for children
One of his significant innovations has been the development of the Safe School protocol along with one of the world’s leading assessment firm for safe school certification thereby making EuroKids – India’s first certified safe school network. His passion for redefining the education space has led to increased adoption of Edtech in the ecosystem and also launch of – EuroVarsity, a virtual classroom built to equip today’s learners with the convenience to learn at their own pace. Lighthouse Learning has renewed commitment to delivering a holistic, nurturing and secure learning environment for children. Leading a workforce of over 1500+ employees, Prajodh’s vision of creating a world-class environment for his team has also led EuroKids International Group to be amongst the ‘50 Great Place to Work’ in India. His efforts towards creating entrepreneurial opportunity for women has created a platform for many women entrepreneurs in metros and small cities to become self-reliant. An eminent speaker, Prajodh has represented the category as a thought leader in multiple seminar and conferences.
Prajodh is a management graduate from the University of Madras, and the founding, as well as, and and active member of many industry associations. He is also associated with Rotary India Literacy Mission’s Happy School project an initiative to create better school infrastructure in India. For his contribution to Early Childhood Education & Learning industry, Prajodh has been awarded numerous awards and accolades including Entrepreneur of the Year, Top ‘50 Leaders changing Indian education’ and “50 visionaries – leading iconsin Education” astop education influencer in the country.
