Bangalore, India, 5th October 2023: MyCareernet, an initiative by Careernet – India’s leading talent solutions provider, and the ultimate destination for career aspirants, is hosting the inaugural edition of CareerTech 2023 – a 24-hour online skills challenge that will bring together the brightest minds in Big Data and Data Science from all corners of India. This virtual event invites professionals with 1-5 years of experience in Data Science or Big Data who aspire to become part of the world’s leading organisations.
Participants will engage in a series of challenges in each of the respective streams, meticulously crafted to evaluate their skills and knowledge. These challenges offer not only the chance to win an attractive range of rewards like gaming laptops, tech gadgets including noise-cancellation headphones and smart speakers, and online shopping vouchers but also possible career opportunities with partner organisations.
There are two streams of challenges in CareerTech 2023 – Big Data and Data Science. Both follow a similar format with multiple choice questions, coding, and video questions. Each challenge will have a test duration of 130 minutes. The Big Data Challenge will cover topics such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Databases, Data structures, Cloud Computing, and programming knowledge. The Data Science challenge will cover topics like Statistics, DS, ML, BI Tools, and programming knowledge.
Each challenge will have a first prize, a second prize, and five third prizes. A total of 14 prizes will be distributed at CareerTech for the two challenges. Besides that, every participant will get a participation certificate and the chance to win partner-branded goodies.

Candidates may register for the online challenges through the links provided and will receive an email invitation to participate. Shortly after the challenges are complete, Careernet will announce the top performers who will be rewarded with prizes. All the registered candidates’ profiles and performance reports will be shared with the participating employers. If an employer is interested in a profile for hiring, the respective candidate will be contacted for further details.
Please note that only one entry is allowed per participant per challenge and registrations close on 6th October 2023. Prize winners will be announced on the Leader/Winners section of the challenge page by 18th October 2023.
