Gandhinagar, Aug 13: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Thursday hoisted the Tricolour at his residence as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, urging citizens across the state to participate in the Independence Day celebrations.
The campaign has set a target of reaching 70 lakh households across Gujarat, encouraging families to hoist the national flag at their homes and join the nationwide celebration of patriotism and national pride.
The Chief Minister’s participation highlighted the importance of citizen involvement in the campaign and encouraged people from all sections of society to proudly display the Tricolour at their residences.
With Independence Day approaching on August 15, the state-wide initiative aims to create broad public participation and strengthen the spirit of unity, patriotism and respect for the national flag.
The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is being conducted as part of the Independence Day celebrations, with efforts focused on encouraging households across Gujarat to take part and make the national flag a visible symbol of collective pride.
The state government has called upon citizens to actively participate in the campaign and celebrate Independence Day with a strong sense of national unity.
