India, 9th october 2025: Acclaimed storyteller, actor and filmmaker Sudhanshu Rai is set to captivate audiences with his much-awaited live storytelling event “Bhaygatha with Kahanikaar Sudhanshu Rai”, presented by Oriole Entertainment. The show will be hosted on 11th October 2025 at Studio XO, Gurugram, bringing to life an evening of bone-chilling tales and haunting soundscapes.

Known for his captivating voice and evocative narration, Sudhanshu has redefined the mystery, thriller and horror genre, enthralling audiences across platforms. His recent sci-fi supernatural film Baida, released in March 2025 and available for rent on Prime Video, won acclaim for its originality and gripping storyline. With Bhaygatha, fans now have the long-awaited opportunity to experience the magic of Sudhanshu’s storytelling live on stage.

As India’s Media and Entertainment (M&E) industry celebrates a quarter century of transformation, FICCI FRAMES 2025 was inaugurated at The Fairmont, Mumbai, on October 7–8, marking the landmark Silver Jubilee edition of the convention.

Themed “Framing 25 Years of Indian M&E: A Silver Jubilee of Vision, Voices & Creativity,” this year’s convention pays tribute to the power of imagination, innovation, and industry that has redefined India’s creative economy on the global stage.

On 4 October, the day unfolds with multiple gems: Siachen (4:30 pm & 7:00 pm, Experimental Theatre) captures the grit of soldiers stranded on the world’s highest battlefield; Main Tenu Phir Milangi (5:30 pm, Godrej Dance Theatre) paints the eternal love of poet Amrita Pritam, Sahir Ludhianvi and artist Imroz; Kaumudi (7:00 pm, Tata Theatre) delves into an estranged father-son relationship against the backdrop of caste, art and memory; and Ishq Sufiyana (8:00 pm, Godrej Dance Theatre) offers an immersive journey into the mystic world of Sufi saints, interweaving stories and songs including the legend of Laila–Majnu.

Oct. 1, 2025: Dastan-e-Guru Dutt is a musical tribute to the cinematic legend not through film reels, but through the centuries-old tradition of oral storytelling, in the form of dastangoi to mark his birth centenary.

It is a tribute that commemorates his enduring legacy in a form he would have appreciated—artistic, experimental, and deeply human. Instead of a conventional homage, Dastan-e-Guru Dutt allows audiences to experience his world as though he were present – through the cadences of poetry, the resonance of music, and the intimacy of storytelling where his life and art breathe again in words and in songs.

The Dastan will be rendered by India’s First Woman Dastango, Ms. Fouzia Dastango, renowned for her many captivating performances , particularly her renditions on Meena Kumari, Madhubala, Krishna, and Ram. She brings her own unique style of storytelling, seamlessly blending narrative with songs, either composed by the artist herself or drawn from the films.
