Chennai, 17 April 2023: To celebrate World Health Day, Fortis Malar organized a walkathon today with the theme “Health for All”. The aim of the walkathon was to raise awareness of wellness and inspire people to lead an active lifestyle to maintain good health both physically and mentally. Over 200 participants participated in the walkathon. The walkathon started at 6:00 a.m. from Elliot’s Beach and concluded at 7:00 a.m. and covered a distance of 2 km. Dr. Sai Ramanan. Kerala based startup BestDoc expands to Dubai to set up regional headquarters

April 11 2023 The HLM Group of Institutions partnered with HLM Nursing College to organize a free Health Check-up Camp on the occasion of World Health Day with general healthcare physicians on 7th Apr 2023 at its college campus. A team of nursing students also led the camp with physicians and learned to do crowd management and off-site fieldwork. World Health Day was chosen as the apt day to organize the camp to endorse the old adage, ‘Health is Wealth’ and that people should not ignore it at the expense of their additions and desires.

This camp was aimed to guide individuals towards motivating students to adopt a healthy and fit lifestyle. The camp started with a free physical examination of many students, and different health screening activities like blood pressure, sugar monitoring, ECG, BMI, and BMR monitoring also took place. More than 200+ patients attended the health check-up camp.

The motto of HLM 2.0 is to foster practical knowledge, and we are happy that we got such an amazing response from the student bodies and communities. Owing to the spurt in Covid cases recently, Proper hygiene standards were followed by the HLM team to handle the work in the camp. Dr. D Solanki signed the MoU on behalf of Govt. of Haryana. Dr. Rajarishi Bhattacharya – Chief Advisor signed this MOU on behalf of SAAOL Trust in presence of Dr. Bimal Chhajer.

The main aim of this conglomeration is to create a sustainable and healthy society by spreading awareness about lifestyle diseases.

“Beat Heart Disease” is taking a giant leap with M3M Foundation to enlighten the community members about their physical health and lifestyle-related issues and update them on different health parameters. The total cost of the project is 2 crore and 34 lakhs per year which will be utilized to conduct health camps around Tauru Block of Nuh District, Haryana, India over a span of 3 years.

The program “Sarvoday” will organize 48-50 Health Camps focused on lifestyle diseases especially heart diseases in Tauru block and other blocks of Nuh district, Haryana. Free Health Screening will be conducted for more than 12500 community members identified with CHC through its industry partner’s detailed health screening package and will deploy The Health Screening Van and the experts in the area to do the needful activities.

The program will spread awareness about lifestyle diseases across the community and empower them with knowledge of vaccines to assist community members in lifestyle modification to endure a healthy life with the help of the Foundation and CHC.

This will also include training 300 qualified youth as Healthcare workers with the support of “Healthians” and providing them the Livelihood Opportunities as a phlebotomist, as per the set parameters.
