Contestants who participated in the pageant, organized by Ms. Mohini Sharma, gathered to express their concerns about favoritism and lack of transparency in the judging panel. Among the attendees were contestants Prerna Sood from Dubai, Ritu Narain, Jagmeet Kour, Saloni Grover, and Shivika Singh Bais, who traveled from different parts of India.

It was his first ever official religious attendance at the 101st “Urs- E- Shareef of Baghdadi Sahebaan” on the death centenary of Hazrat Peer Syed Abdur Rahman AKA. The Asaf Jah VI, Highness Mir Mahboob Ali Khan used to welcome Hazrat where the carpet spread for his arrival would be immediately taken and stored respectfully so that it would not be tread on by others thereafter.

The very sought-after revered Janab Sayed Mahmood Husaini Qadri Al Rafai, Sadat Peer Baghdadi, the grandson and sajjada nashin of Qitte Salheen, the organiser of the present 101st Urs event says he is delighted and honoured to have His Highness Mir Mahboob Ali Khan’s blood descendant and great-grandson, the 9th Nizam head of the Asaf Jahi dynasty as a special visitor.

The 9th Head of the Asaf Jah family, Raunaq Yar Khan says, it’s an honour and pleasure to be received in reciprocation by Pir Baghdadi in continuation of the tradition of his great grandfather, the 6th Nizam with this being his first ever visit here to further bonds.

Says Mr Zubair Khan, an associate of Pir, it’s also very significant that after being appointed the 9th Nizam of the Dynasty, it’s H.H.’s first religious outing and attendance at a place of faith. That is, his first visit after he was anointed at the “Qaja ka Chilla”(another place of faith of Nizams) before his formal coronation by a huge majority of his royal family at a religious ceremony adjacent, over lunch.

Badey Pir Baghdadi memorized the Quran at age nine and mastered theology & Islamic Jurisprudence thereafter. At age 17 he earned the turban that symbolized high learning. Beyond his being the progeny of the prophet, his asceticism & piety gained widespread recognition.

Hazrat Badey Baghdadi left this mortal world on the 10th Muharram, year 1344 Hijira at the age of 63. He was buried at ‘Qita Saliheen’ in Nampally, Hyderabad. Thereon, every year his “Urs” (annual death anniversary) has and will be held, inshallah from the 10th to 12th Muharram. Hordes of dignitaries across the spectrum thronged the place on this Urs day to seek blessings from Peer Sadat Bagdadi.

Hyderabad, July 31, 2023 … .Globalart organized ‘KOLOR CHAMP 2023, ’ a Unique Art Competition in the city on Sunday at Satya Sai Nigamagamam in Srinagar Colony.

The competition was formally inaugurated by Mr Dinesh Victor, MD of SIP Academy, who is one of the names to reckon with in India on the subject of Skills Development in children and championing that cause.

450 young children, in the age groups of 5 to 15 years competed in the 5th Regional Competition of ‘Kolor Camp 2023’. The participants of this competition will go on to compete nationally, in a nationwide competition to be held later in the year. This competition was held physically after a gap of four years.

The theme of the contest “My Happiest Day at School” was announced on the spot. Children depending on their age group and category were supposed to imagine the theme and draw a painting or an artistic imagination in one hour forty-five minutes to 2 hours forty-five minutes.

Responding to the theme, Archana, a participant said, I can’t imagine one day. All days of my school life are the happiest days, she added and I have communicated the same she said.

Friends, sports, fun, learning and bagless days make me happy at School, said Akash.

Addressing kids on the occasion immediately after inaugurating it, Dinesh Victor said, Art teaches kids the most important quality of being patient. One should have the patience to see complete art. Unfortunately, the current generation doesn’t have patience. They look for instant results, he said. Patience improves kids’ ability to accept setbacks and enjoy life much more. “Good things come to those who wait, he said.

Globalart is a complete, systematic, and efficient art program aimed to develop the creative and artistic potential of children. The thoroughly researched and structured syllabus aims to provide children with formal yet child-friendly art training using creative challenges.

Extracurricular activities are as important as studies to the current generation of students. Parents also realised this fact during the pandemic. We have been getting very encouraging responses, he said. The programme has been developed by Globalart, Malaysia and has a presence in 22 countries and trained almost 2,75,000 children across the world since 1999, he added

Mr. Srinivas Mashetty, State Head – of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh said the 450 children who participated in the contest were drawn from 21 Global Art Training Centers spread across the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) a Swiss-based international non-governmental organization that works to sustain the natural world for the benefit of people and wildlife, uploaded the creatives of Globalart children on their website for the ‘Save the Tiger Campaign and for ‘Climate Change campaign”.

Globalart Children’s creatives were displayed at the 2nd World Ministerial Conference with delegates from 13 Tiger range countries in Bali Indonesia in 2010.

The competition holds the Limca Book of Record. It was created in Hyderabad. It was awarded during its 1st International ‘Kolor Champ’ in India at HICC, Madhapur in Hyderabad. Certification was given for Art competitions with participants from most countries. This happened in 2010, wherein 584 children participated. The children came from 7 countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, USA and India). The theme for the Competition theme was ‘One World.’

The Globalart program is a one-of-its-kind international creative art program for children (5 – 15 years). Over the last 18 years, Globalart has benefitted over 80,000 children across 125 centres in 7 states in the country. In the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, there are 21 Centers where over 2000 children come in for classes every week.

Chennai 31st July 2023: Amidst an air of triumph and hope, Apollo Proton Cancer Centre (APCC) together with Apollo Cancer Centre (ACC) and Apollo Shine, to successfully host the second edition of ‘Winners on Wheels’ Cyclothon. The exceptional event was dedicated to accelerating awareness about Sarcoma, a type of cancer that predominantly affects children. The response from participants, spectators, and cancer warriors alike was nothing short of overwhelming, as they united with unwavering determination to make a difference.

Sarcoma, a rare and often misunderstood form of cancer, poses unique challenges to patients and their families. As a part of its ongoing commitment to supporting cancer warriors, Apollo Proton Cancer Centre along with Apollo Cancer Centre and Apollo Shine took the initiative to shed light on Sarcoma during the ‘Winners on Wheels’ Cyclothon with an aim to raise awareness and bring hope to those facing the complexities of this disease.

The inaugural edition of ‘Winners on Wheels’ in 2022 witnessed resounding success, with over 100 cyclists coming forward to support the cause alongside the brave cancer warriors. This year, the 5 km Cyclothon, flagged-off at APCC, focussed to spread the powerful message that “Cancer is Conquerable” with timely diagnosis and the right treatment. The inspiring event showcased sarcoma survivors leading the charge, symbolizing the indomitable spirit and resilience of those fighting cancer.

Renowned Film Director & Entrepreneur, Ms. Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, flagged off the event, expressing her admiration for Apollo’s efforts. “It is heart-warming to witness the impact that Apollo is driving among the lives of cancer patients.
