The doubles-only tournament was played in 3 power-packed categories of ‘Beginners’; ‘Intermediate’ and ‘Pros’ for seasoned players. Whereas Pakistan already reserved that position in the final match. The final match is held on Saturday, the 26th of August at 3:30 PM local time.

Indian woman (blind) cricket team is unbeaten in all three games played against England and Australia and confirmed that position in the final match held in Birmingham on 26th of August. At 11 AM local time.

The arrangements for the Sportsman, woman are not adequate. The local Indian community along with the Solihull United Cricket Club are doing their best to help the teams for their needs towards accommodation and food. Hyderabad based renowned Construction Company Pranava group is also extending their help in UK.

In the past Indian teams has won 3 times T20, 2 times ODI championships and once the Asia Cup. If the teams are provided with better facilities, no doubt in say that the teams will perform much better.

New Delhi: Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Hon’ble Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs & Petroleum and Natural Gas, today (25th August 2023) inaugurated a conference on “Adoption of New and Emerging Building Materials and Technologies in Construction Industry” at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Shri Kaushal Kishore, Hon’ble Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs also graced the occasion. The day-long event was hosted by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), in partnership with Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI).Shri Manoj Joshi, Secretary, MoHUA and several key dignitaries from real estate, housing and construction sectors, senior officials from the Ministry and State/UT Governments also attended the event.

The conference brought together real estate developers, subject matter experts, urban practitioners and stakeholders from various sectors of the construction industry for cross learning and sharing of ideas for adoption and mainstreaming of innovative construction technologies, materials and processes.

In his keynote address, Hon’ble Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, spoke about how the Ministry has adopted several innovative technologies under different projects. The Hon’ble Minister said, “The Government has laid down the roadmap for the construction industry and this conference has brought together some of the finest minds in construction technology and the Indian Real Estate industry. It is imperative we find feasible ways to increase the adoption of emerging materials and technologies in the construction industry and I am confident that the deliberations of this conference will be beneficial for reforming the future discourses in this regard.”

The conference raised awareness on emerging and sustainable building materials and construction technologies among a wide range of stakeholders which would ensure a more sustainable future.

CREDAI President Boman Irani shared his remarks “This conference is a testimony of the labours of the Government of India to give a decisive impetus to all around infrastructural growth of the nation. Technology transition through Light House Projects (LHPs) under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) and the experience of constructing the model housing project at six locations, namely Chennai, Rajkot, Indore, Lucknow, Ranchi and Agartala was discussed in detail during the event.

Following the inaugural event, sessions with experts and prominent speakers were held. Two panel discussions on the topics – “Role of Private Sector in Mainstreaming Innovative Construction Technology Ecosystem” and “Promotion of New & Emerging Building Materials and Processes”, were held during which experts from different organisations shared their views.

The conference on “Adoption of New and Emerging Building Materials and Technologies in Construction Industry” saw a huge footfall of developers and other stakeholders who engaged in insightful discussions and shared innovative ideas and explored the latest trends in adoption of new and emerging building materials and technologies. The participants included officers from private and government sectors, representatives of technology providers, innovators, construction agencies, professionals, academicians among others.

We must cultivate a running culture in the city to keep fit. Being a Hyderabadi I am proud that many fitness activities like Sport Expo India, NMDC Hyderabad Marathon 2023 and others are held. Running is the best fitness activity. Be fit, and live life to the fullest, he told his fans and people in general. Eat whatever you want, but, stay fit, live long, was his message to all.

On 27th August the three runs will flagged off. The Full Marathon will kick off at 4.30 AM, Half Marathon and 5.30 AM, both will be flagged off from People Plaza, Necklace Road and conclude at Gachibowli stadium. The 10K Run will be flagged off at 6.30 AM from Hitex, Madhapur and will join Half and Full Marathon route near IKEA Circle and will finish at Gachibowli Stadium informed Mr. Prashant Morparia, Race Director. 21000 runners on the whole are expected to participate, of which 6500 will participate in 5K run and the balance 15500 will participate in 10K, Half and Full Marathon, informed Mr. Arun Kaliappan Secretary, The Hyderabad Runners.

19th August 2023: News18 TamilNadu, the leading Tamil news channel, marked the occasion of Madras Day with a celebratory on-ground event titled ‘Enga ooru Madras’. The ‘Enga ooru Madras’ will be telecasted on News18 TamilNadu on August 22nd at 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM & 9.00 PM to 10:00 PM enabling viewers across Tamil Nadu to partake in the revelry, gain insights from the engaging discussions, and relish the musical performances that capture the essence of Madras.

After a successful edition of the first weight category, Taekwondo Premier League has announced the dates of its second weight category tournament. The tournament will be held on the 5th, 6th and 7th December 2023 and will feature 55.1 kg to 60 .9 kg weight category for men and 48.1 kg to 53.9 kg for women.

The first weight category of 58.1kg-67.9kg competition held in Delhi saw the emergence of the Rajasthan Rebels as champions. The Delhi Warriors secured second place, followed by the Gujarat Thunders. The upcoming second weight category tournament will also include 12 teams Haryana Hunters, Maharashtra Avengers, Bengaluru Ninjas, Chennai Strikers, Rajasthan Rebels, Delhi Warriors, Hyderabad Gliders, Gujarat Thunders, Assam Heroes, Punjab Royals, LucknowNawabs and Himachal Hurricanes vying for the top spot.

Talking about the same, Mr Duvvuri Ganesh, founder and director of Taekwondo Premier League said, “The first weight category was a huge success and that has made us to launch the second category events in December 2023. Taekwondo is the best fitness game in the world, and it gives self-confidence with self -Defence from within. We wanted it to be a team game that will give Indian players a chance to play with the international players in the same team which will help in exchanging technical skills and advance Taekwondo techniques. This will support all the individual Taekwondo players to improve their speed, Power and attitude with accuracy.”

Grand Master Mr Jun Lee who is also the chief commissioner of the Taekwondo Premier League says, “Leagues like these are very important for the sport of Taekwondo to grow. Not only lets the athletes become pros but also gives the best result for all the individual players across the world.”
