Admissions are now open for the Master of Science (Economics) dual-degree programme that spans two years, with one year at NMIMS and the next year at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, USA. After the successful completion of the dual degree programme, students will receive an M.Sc. Economics degree from SAMSOE and an M.A. in Economics degree from Virginia Tech.

Moreover, qualified students will have access to the full range of Ph.D. courses in Economics offered at Virginia Tech.

The MA Economics degree at Virginia Tech is a STEM-certified programme, which will allow international students to receive Optional Practical Training for three years after the
completion of their degree.

Speaking about the course, Prof. Amita Vaidya, Director, Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics, said, “At SAMSOE, we believe in instilling a global perspective in our students, preparing them to be leaders in an interconnected world. This dual degree programme in Economics, developed in collaboration with Virginia Tech, exemplifies our commitment to providing an enriching and diverse educational experience to our students.
