Blum India inaugurates Sliker India, its new distributor showroom in Jodhpur, Rajasthan

Blum, a premium Austrian furniture fittings manufacturer, launched its new distributor showroom, “Sliker India” in Jodhpur. Located at the Opp Dalda Building, 7th Chopasni Road, Jodhpur, Rajasthan 342001, consumers can buy products directly from the brand’s authorized distributor.

This new Blum experience centre was inaugurated by Nadeem Patni, Managing Director, Blum India, and Sultan Ahmed, Director of Sliker India.

Blum has been represented in India for more than 20 years, offering innovative fittings for the furniture industry. With the opening of this store, Blum India continues to enjoy a network spread across 130 cities with over 425 outlets across India.

Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Nadeem Patni, Managing Director, Blum India, said, “Jodhpur, the second largest city in Rajasthan, is a huge potential market. Launching a new distributor showroom is simply a step to show that we want to be a part of this market development. Starting with the establishment of our headquarters in Mumbai and building the warehouse all the way to directly catering to our customers through our distributors across the country.”

Amplus Solar successfully commissions its first Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) project in Bikaner, Rajasthan

Hyderabad, 2 March 2024: Amplus Solar, India’s leading clean energy solutions provider, is proud to announce the commissioning of its pioneering 360 MWp Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) solar plant, Project Jai, situated in Jaimalsar village in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

The solar power generated by the plant will be shared with Commercial and Industrial (C&I) clients nationwide, enabling them to fulfil their green energy objectives. This monumental achievement is a significant milestone for Amplus in its quest to meet the escalating demand for uninterrupted clean energy in India’s C&I sector.

The state-of-the-art solar facility, equipped with the latest available solar technology, including bi-facial modules, single-axis trackers, and 100% robotic cleaning systems, epitomizes Amplus Solar’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. Notably, the implementation of robotic cleaning system at Project Jai is projected to reduce the consumption of water for panel cleaning at the plant by up to 50 million liters per year, demonstrating Amplus’ dedication to environmental stewardship.

While known for pioneering rooftop solar solutions in India, the inauguration of this large-scale renewable energy project represents a significant diversification for Amplus Solar, further cementing its position as a pivotal player in India’s renewable energy landscape.

Avaada Group Hosts Delegation Led by Thai Deputy PM H.E. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara

In a landmark event underscoring global cooperation in the renewable energy sector, Avaada Group, a leading name in green energy solutions, is pleased to announce that a delegation led by H.E. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, visited Avaada-owned world’s largest single location solar power plant by any renewable energy Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Thailand’s Deputy PM is on a four-day official visit to India, along with a high-level delegation including Thailand’s Ambassador to India Ms. Pattarat Hongtong and Dr.Pailin Chuchottaworn, Chairman of the Board at the Global Power Synergy Plc. (GPSC), along with other dignitaries and key luminaries from the Thailand energy sector.

The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Vineet Mittal, Chairperson of Avaada Group, Mr. Kishor Nair, CEO of Avaada Energy, along with other team members. The visit facilitated in-depth discussions on sustainable energy, technological innovations, and the potential for future collaborations between India and Thailand in the pursuit of a greener planet and sustainable future.

On a question on how his experience was after visiting Avaada’s facility and India in general, H.E. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, expressed his feelings by saying that, “I would say only one word i.e. Impressive.”

While on the investment made by PTT Group’s GPSC in Avaada Energy in India, Thailand’s Deputy PM said that “definitely they have made the right decision.”

The Bikaner Solar Plant has its own significance not only in India’s renewable energy landscape but also globally. Spanning across 4,100 acres of land, Avaada Energy’s solar plant has ~ 3 million solar modules. Plant consumed ~ 33,500 tons of structural steel, and approximately 4,200 km of Power & Control cables. It supplies electricity through long term power purchase agreement across India – North India (Haryana), West India (Maharashtra), and South India (Telangana and Tamil Nadu). Furthermore, electricity generated is being transmitted using the extra high voltage (EHV) national grid of India through a 14 km long 400 kV transmission line.

So far, the solar plant has reduced carbon emissions of ~3.4 million tons and saved approximately 90,000 kiloliters of water annually by using robotic cleaning systems.

The delegation’s visit highlights the importance of international collaboration in the energy sector and sets a precedent for future partnerships that transcend geographical boundaries.
