Visakhapatnam: 2nd December, 2023: Adani Gangavaram Port the deepest and the most advance port in Andhra Pradesh in association with Adani Foundation conducted a Mega Eye Camp in Gangavaram, Dallivanipalem, & Nellimukku Villages. The free eye check-up camp was attended by eminent doctors from Vizag along with the Sr. Management of Adani Gangavaram Port.

Since April 2023, Adani Gangavaram Port and Adani Foundation have successfully completed the screening of 619 individuals from villages. The port had also conducted camps for the truck drivers and cleaners who are a part of the logistics fleet. Over 200 truck drivers have availed the free medical camp conducted by the port.

The participants of the eye camp went through a systematic process of checkups. Preliminary diagnosis and consultation for men, women & children was done by the doctors and medicines & reports were distributed free of cost at the camp. The port and foundation started distribution of 294 pairs of spectacles to the people from the conducted camps & additional camps are planned, with a target of reaching a total of 1200 people by March 2024.

Speaking on the occasion Adani Gangavaram Port Limited management said, “This Mega Eye Camp is organized as a part of our CSR Programme to ensure the well-being of the underprivileged people from the communities in our neighbourhood. Chang International Circuit (Buriram), 2nd December 2023: The 2023 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) gears up for an exhilarating grand finale, set to unfold in the Chang International Circuit (Buriram), Thailand this weekend. The IDEMITSU Honda Racing India team is all set for the ultimate showdown in the championship’s last round.

In Round 5, The IDEMITSU Honda Racing India team earned additional 6 valuable points, bringing their total to 27 points thus far in the 2023 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC).

The dynamic Indian duo, Kavin Quintal and Mohsin Paramban displayed remarkable skills and unwavering determination, showcasing consistent performance for the IDEMITSU Honda India Racing team.

In Race 1 of Round 5, Kavin Quintal demonstrated unwavering focus against all the international riders throughout the formidable 10-lap race. He fearlessly continued to compete and crossed the chequered line at the 14th position. In the final round, Kavin displayed his racing prowess as he maneuvered his way to the 12th position, earning 4 valuable championship points for the team. Meanwhile Mohsin Paramban exhibited his best skills maintaining a consistent and resilient performance. In Race 2, amidst the challenging race, he held his ground and secured the 18th position.

Mumbai,2nd December 2023: Peninsula Land Limited, a prominent real estate developer listed on the NSE and BSE, announced a proposed growth capital funding of INR 100 Cr, through the issuance of equity shares and CCDs to Delta Corp Ltd. This strategic collaboration is a testament to Peninsula Land’s strong operational performance in the last five years which saw it reduce its debt by approx 90% (over INR 2200 Cr) and deliver more than 1800 units in the same period.

In addition, Peninsula Land and Delta Corp have proposed a joint venture with a combined investment of INR 250 Cr. Delta Corp would be the majority partner in the proposed joint venture and Peninsula Land Ltd would be the development manager (DM) for projects undertaken. The JV ‘will be set up in due course.

2nd December 2023: – AirAsia announced a significant service increase between Malaysia and India, totalling an impressive 69 weekly flights starting in the first quarter of 2024, with up to 1.5 million seats per year.

The significant increase in capacity comes in response to the anticipated surge in travel demand following the Malaysian government’s announcement of a 30-day visa-free entry for travellers from India into Malaysia starting 1 December 2023.

Mumbai, 2nd December 2023: Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier and a joint venture of Tata group and Singapore Airlines announced the addition of Doha (Qatar), its 50th destination, to its growing network. The airline will be operating direct, 4x weekly flights between Mumbai and Doha, starting from 15 December 2023 using its A321neo aircraft. Bookings for the flights are being progressively opened on all channels, including Vistara’s website, mobile app, and through travel agents.
