Flipkart partners with National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) for Skill Development and Employment Opportunities: Empowering India’s youth

Delhi –16th February 2024 Flipkart, India’s homegrown e-commerce marketplace, and the National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to empower students and aspiring candidates to gain valuable skills to pursue a career in e-commerce, retail and warehousing sectors. Under the MoU, Flipkart will train, skill, upskill and certify candidates to take up roles in these sectors. The MoU exchange ceremony was graced by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister, Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, MSDE and Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, COO, NSDC.

As part of the agreement between Flipkart and NSDC, Flipkart’s ‘Project Bright Initiative’ will offer free online courses to enhance students’ skill sets for pursuing a career in India’s fast-growing e-commerce sector. The courses will impart the basics of e-commerce, soft skills and customer service skills to increase the learners’ employability. Flipkart has sought NSDC’s support for accreditation and certification of courses offered under this project. Flipkart and NSDC will work together to increase awareness and outreach for the courses, ensuring that they reach a wider audience of students. The program’s goal is to facilitate their placement across the broader e-commerce and retail sectors.

Calicut, 16th February 2024 SAFI Institute of Advanced Study of SAFI has been conferred the covetable national academic recognition as an Autonomous College from the University Grants Commission. Last year SAFI attained the highest grade of A++ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the agency that rates the quality of higher education in the country. This is the first Arts and Science College in Kerala to achieve A++ in the first cycle of NAAC Accreditation with a score of 3.54, becoming the center of excellence in the Higher Education Sector. The current recognition at the national level as an Autonomous College adds one more feather to the crown of SAFI . The band treated the audience to an exclusive preview of two unreleased singles, “Mere Hi Ho Tum” & ‘Udd Chale” which received an overwhelmingly positive response from the crowd.

With their infectious energy and dynamic sound, Last Minute India had concert-goers on their feet, dancing and singing along throughout originals to the Bollywood set.
