IIFL Home Finance Supports Lucknow Police with Helmet Distribution for Improved Road Safety

Lucknow, 22nd November 2024: IIFL Home Finance Ltd. has partnered with the Uttar Pradesh Police to promote road safety in Lucknow as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts. In a significant step towards protecting the uniform personnel, the company distributed 200 helmets to Lucknow police at Traffic Police Commissionerate reinforcing the critical need for road safety awareness.

Nestlé India celebrates 15 years of its flagship societal initiative, Nestlé Healthy Kids Programme

Nestlé India and its partners commemorated the completion of fifteen years of its flagship societal initiative, Nestlé Healthy Kids Programme, dedicated to promoting healthier lifestyles amongst adolescents. Launched as a pilot programme in 2009, it has grown significantly, reaching over 600,000 adolescents and 56,000 parents in 26 states and union territories. The programme provides adolescents with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed decisions about healthy eating and active living. It highlights the importance of physical activity as an essential part of a healthy lifestyle, promotes responsible plastic waste management, and encourages parents to help their children adopt healthy habits.

Nestlé India has partnered with educational institutions such as CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya, Goa College of Home Science, Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Gujarat University, National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Punjab Agricultural University, University of Agriculture Sciences and Magic Bus India Foundation, to bring the programme to life.

Commenting on this significant milestone, Mr. Sanjay Khajuria, Director, Corporate Affairs, Sustainability, Nestlé India, said, “Celebrating 15 successful years of the Nestlé Healthy Kids Programme is a significant milestone that emphasizes our unwavering commitment to building a healthier future for our youth. Through this programme, we have successfully engaged with adolescents nationwide, equipping them with vital knowledge about nutrition, hygiene, and active lifestyles.”

The Nestlé Healthy Kids Programme has made a notable impact on the educational engagement of adolescents. An increase in school attendance is observed, with 92% of students in the intervention group attending school at least five days a week post-intervention, up from around 54% before the intervention. The programme has also had positive impact on adolescents around nutrition awareness. To cite an example, the awareness of vitamin A saw a remarkable increase in the intervention group, increasing from 33% at the beginning of the programme to nearly 73% at the endline.

Movember La Ultra to Be Held on 23rd and 24th of November 2024

Hyderabad, November 22, 2024 – The 4th edition of the Movember La Ultra is set to take place from 23rd to 24th November 2024.

Supported by GoAthlos, this event marks the support of Movember, an annual event that raises awareness and funds for men’s health issues and prostate cancer. Movember is a month-long event in November where people grow moustaches to raise awareness for men’s health. The name is a combination of the words “moustache” and “November”.

This is the 4th edition and our goal is to raise one lakh rupees and these funds will be sent to St. Ann’s Hospital Cancer Unit, Kazipet to support prostate cancer patients.

In the previous editions, we have collected INR 50,000 from family and friends and have run 50 to 60 kms in support of Movember. This edition, a team of over 15 runners will run from Hyderabad to Warangal covering a distance of 130 kms.

Superstar Nagarjuna graced the event along with Shri Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, Information & Broadcasting; Shri Gaurav Dwivedi, CEO of Prasar Bharati; Shri Yogesh Baweja, DG, CBC; creators of the show Munjal Shroff and Tilak Shetty of Graphiti Studios; Shilangi Mukherji, Director & Head – SVOD, Prime Video, India; and Mahima Kaul, Director of Public Policy, Netflix India.

The groundbreaking animated series, which celebrates India’s lesser-known freedom fighters, made history with its Season 1 debut across multiple platforms.

Season 2 of the animation series, like Season 1, will premiere simultaneously across Doordarshan, Prime Video, and Netflix.

Unique Cross-Platform Promotion

In an unprecedented move, Krish, Trish, and Baltiboy: Bharat Hain Hum will also be available in an innovative format: a radio series and a podcast. The Krish, Trish and Baltiboy– Bharat Hain Hum Radio Series will premiere on December 1 on All India Radio (AIR),broadcasting in 12 languages across India. Each episode will be heard at 10:30 AM on Sundays, just 15 minutes before the animation series airs on Doordarshan at 11 AM. The radio show will promote the animated series, creating a seamless cross-platform transition that will help maximize the show’s audience. The unique scheduling strategy promises to offer a significant push for the animation series, ensuring that the young and diverse audience can transition from radio to television effortlessly.

Additionally, a podcast will be available worldwide on Spotify in 180 countries. This podcast will feature episodes from the series, while also encouraging listeners to watch the animated show on Prime Video, Netflix, WAVES and Doordarshan amplifying the reach of this cross-platform distribution strategy.
