SFPI Launches ‘Navahitam’ Initiative on Food Security

Bengaluru, April 24 : Shibulal Family Philanthropic Initiatives today announced the launch of Navahitam, a new initiative aimed at improving access to fresh, nutritious produce for underserved communities, including children and senior citizens.

SFPI Launches ‘Navahitam’ Initiative on Food Security

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 2  Navahitam seeks to address food security challenges at the grassroots level by building sustainable distribution ecosystems and strengthening last-mile access to essential nutrition. The initiative will enable the sourcing of fresh produce through a network of farmers and wholesale partners, ensuring consistent access to quality food for vulnerable populations. The fresh produce sourced through the organic farming ecosystem will be distributed to beneficiaries across a growing network of community institutions.

Through Navahitam, SFPI aims to create a reliable and scalable model that bridges gaps in food access by connecting producers, distributors, and communities.

Under the initiative,

  • As of March 2026, the quantity of vegetables, fruits & groceries distributed are 242470.6 kg, 2790 Kg of organic snacks and 54,730 eggs.

  • Supply comes from a network of wholesale partners and more than 25 farmers in Tamil Nadu.

  • The produce has reached organizations such as Bosco Mane, ECHO, Infant Jesus children’s Home, Little Sister of the Poor, Ave Maria-Leprosy Center, Support care-HIV center, ASVAS & DASS, Refuge Foundation, Bethel Child Care, Makkala Jeevodaya, Auxilium Navajeevana, Maria Nivas Old Age Home, Bala Yeshu Bavan Orphanage, Alverna Bhavan and Swanthana hospice Palliative care.

Commenting on the launch, Mrs. Kumari Shibulal, Founder and Chairperson of SFPI, said,

“At SFPI, we believe that access to nutritious food is fundamental to dignity and well-being. “This World Earth Day, Navahitam is a reminder that sustainability and social equity must go hand in hand. By connecting responsible surplus management across farming, fresh produce and grocery wholesaler systems with community nutrition, we are working towards a future where both people and the planet thrive.”

Navahitam, launched as a pilot project in 2024, benefits 1,500 people per day. The initiative operates from its primary facility, Maple Tree Farms in Tamil Nadu, and is further supported by a network of nearby farmers. The DG Palli farm in Hosur is another key facility that contributes significantly to the initiative, particularly through the supply of highly nutritious produce, including multiple varieties of greens. By the end of this year, the Navahitam initiative aims to scale its efforts to reach a total distribution of 30,000 kgs. There are also plans to expand the initiative to other cities in due course.

With over 25 years of philanthropic work, SFPI has focused on creating systemic change across education, healthcare, and community development.

Reltio Unlocks the 90% of “Dark” Enterprise Data that Bridges the AI Readiness Gap

Business Wire India

The Reltio® context intelligence platform provides trusted business understanding for the enterprise AI era, today announced the launch of Reltio 2026.1. This landmark release solves the “Readiness Gap” revealed by a recent Harvard Business Review Analytic Services survey, which found that only 15% of organizations currently possess the necessary data foundation for Agentic AI.

According to IDC, 90% of enterprise data remains unstructured and largely inaccessible to AI systems. Reltio 2026.1 addresses that gap with industry-first capabilities that unify PDFs, Word documents, web content, transcriptions, and other unstructured sources with structured data. By transforming this “dark data” into trusted, connected context, Reltio is enabling enterprises to move from AI experimentation to operationalizing autonomous agents at scale. The impact of this shift is already evident: a Fortune 500 Reltio insurance customer recently utilized agentic innovations to reduce a multi-week data process down to minutes, including a 75% reduction in manual document processing time.

“Enterprises are entering a new phase of AI, where success depends less on how much data you can process and more on whether AI and agents can actually trust and understand the information they are given,” said Manish Sood, CEO & Founder of Reltio. “That is the shift from data processing to context intelligence. We are helping our customers build a system of context today that transforms fragmented, raw enterprise data into trusted, connected, and meaningful context that AI can use to drive better decisions and outcomes.”

Accelerating Agentic Transformation with Reltio 2026.1

The 2026.1 release simplifies the activation of trusted context across three critical pillars:

1. Strengthening Data Unification and Context Enrichment

  • Reltio AgentFlow Unstructured: Ingests and extracts insights from PDFs, Word docs, and HTML to enrich unified context, making previously “dark” data actionable. With this agentic capability, for the first time, structured and unstructured data can be unified in one data foundation for operational use.
  • Reltio Flexible Entity Resolution Networks (FERN): Enhanced with AI-driven vectorization to improve the speed and precision of candidate discovery.
  • Advanced Grouping and Hierarchies: Features automated inference of complex, multi-level entity groupings and persistent materialized hierarchies directly in the profile view.
  • Zero-Copy Interaction Integration: Connects Databricks profiles with real-time transaction data without the need for replication.
  • Identity Enrichment: Provides access to a proprietary reference dataset of more than 500 million individuals.

2. Agentic Data Stewardship and Governance

  • Agent Builder: Provides a template-based environment to create, test, and deploy custom agents with governed “maker-checker” workflows.
  • Automated Stewardship Agents: Supports autonomous data quality profiling and task execution, allowing human reviewers to focus only on exceptions.
  • Intelligent Mapping: AI-driven mapping in RDM automates the creation and management of lookup values.
  • AI Guardrails: Includes bring-your-own-LLM support with built-in protections against toxicity and prompt injection.

3. Simplifying Real-time Activation

  • Conversational Segmentation: A new prebuilt agent in Reltio Intelligent 360™ allows users to create and manage audiences through natural language.
  • Enhanced Interoperability: New support for Confluent Cloud Kafka improves real-time event streaming.

“Innovation at Reltio is about helping our customers move beyond traditional data platforms toward data-first application platforms that can power automated action in real time,” said Ansh Kanwar, Chief Product Officer at Reltio. “We are continuing to push the boundaries of enterprise data by combining stronger identity foundations, more intelligent automation, and easier activation of trusted context across agents and applications.”

Harness Delivers Unified AI Intelligence Across Software Delivery with Google Cloud

India, April  24: Harness, the AI Software Delivery Platform™ company, today announced that it will bring together Harness’s Software Delivery Knowledge Graph and Google Cloud’s Developer Connect. The initiative gives joint customers a unified, AI-ready view of their entire software delivery lifecycle, and the intelligence to act on it with confidence.

The announcement was made at Google Cloud Next, where Harness also won the 2026 Google Cloud Technology Partner of the Year Award in the Application Development – DevOps category.

The Missing Piece in AI Software Delivery

Modern software delivery environments are inherently complex. Pipelines, services, build and deploy infrastructure, artifacts, and dependencies are deeply interconnected  and the data that describes how they relate to one another is scattered across dozens of tools. As organizations accelerate their adoption of AI-powered engineering, that fragmentation becomes a critical liability. AI is only as effective as the context it can access, and today, most AI agents are operating with an incomplete picture.

Harness is addressing this challenge head-on. By integrating Google Cloud Developer Connect insights into the Harness Software Delivery Knowledge Graph, joint customers gain a continuously updated, relationship-aware model of their software delivery environment that spans both platforms, bridging the visibility gap between development and production so that AI agents can operate with complete and reliable context. For engineering teams, this translates directly to making decisions grounded in situational awareness rather than generic training data, allowing them to execute complex workflows with greater accuracy.

Where the Partnership Comes to Life

For joint customers of Harness and Google Cloud, this integration means Harness AI can now make smarter, faster decisions on their behalf. By bringing together deployment event logs, runtime data, and application dependency information from Google Cloud into the Harness Software Delivery Knowledge Graph, teams gain a continuously updated, comprehensive view of their software delivery environment. When an issue arises, engineers can diagnose and remediate faster, trace problems back to specific source files or infrastructure, and link artifacts to the teams responsible for them, without having to manually piece together context from multiple systems.

The result is AI that works harder for customers. With richer context available upfront, AI agents can operate more efficiently, delivering answers and recommendations that reflect the true state of the environment. Everything teams need is in one place, and their AI has everything it needs to act on it confidently.

Security is central to how this integration was built. Data shared between Harness and Google Cloud is governed by enterprise-grade access controls, ensuring the right information reaches the right people within the guardrails organizations require.

“AI is only as powerful as the context behind it. Without it, teams fall into the AI Velocity Paradox: moving code faster than ever, but risking shipping software that is unverified, insecure, and unreliable,” said Jyoti Bansal, co-founder and CEO of Harness. “This is exactly what our expanded work with Google Cloud directly addresses, giving joint customers a unified view of their software delivery environment and AI that can actually reason across it. When context is complete, speed and confidence go hand in hand.”

A Collaboration That Keeps Deepening

This integration is the latest evolution of a long-standing collaboration between Harness and Google Cloud. Harness AI runs on Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, and joint customers already benefit from expanded access through Google Cloud Marketplace. With this announcement, that work expands from the infrastructure layer into the application layer — and directly into how AI understands and acts on the software delivery environment. And it doesn’t stop there. The Harness MCP Server is now accessible within Google’s Gemini Enterprise app environment, enabling Gemini Enterprise customers to leverage Harness capabilities directly from their existing AI interface.

“Google Cloud provides cutting-edge technology that helps partners innovate and deliver more impactful solutions for business transformation,” said Ritika Suri, Managing Director, AI and Data Partnerships at Google Cloud. “Through our partnership with Harness, we will provide customers with innovative capabilities that can improve operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive innovation.”

The New World ID: Proof of Human for the AI Era Scales Across the Digital Platforms People and Businesses Use Every Day

Business Wire India

Last week, World announced the next generation of World ID, its proof of human protocol, designed to increase trust on the internet. The announcement was made during “Lift Off, a live event in San Francisco.

This press release features multimedia. View the full release here: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20260417530721/en/

Docusign, Okta, Tinder, Vercel, and Zoom bring World ID proof of human to businesses, AI agents, and consumers

Docusign, Okta, Tinder, Vercel, and Zoom bring World ID proof of human to businesses, AI agents, and consumers

As AI makes it easier than ever to generate convincing content, identities, and interactions, trust online has decreased. World ID addresses this challenge by enabling individuals to privately prove they are a real, unique human, without revealing their identity across apps, platforms, and services.

“If anything online can be faked, you no longer know who or what to trust,” said Tiago Sada, Chief Product Officer at Tools for Humanity, a company building tools for World. “World ID, which has already been used more than 450 million times, is designed to solve that at the root with a simple, privacy-preserving way to prove there’s a real human behind every interaction.”

A Full-Stack Upgrade for Proof of Human

The new World ID introduces an account-based architecture that makes proof of human more secure, more flexible, and ready for widespread adoption across consumer and enterprise use cases.

Key capabilities include:

  • Account-based design: Enabling persistent, portable proof of human across apps and services;
  • Key rotation and recovery: Improving security and usability for real-world use;
  • Multi-key and session support: Allowing seamless authentication across devices and environments;
  • Enhanced privacy protections: Strengthening anonymity through one-time-use nullifiers; and
  • Open ecosystem: Opening integration to any developer through a new open-source SDK.

World ID for Business: Verifying Humans in High-Stakes Workflows

World ID is expanding to enterprise environments, where verifying that the correct human is taking an action is increasingly critical.

In communication and collaboration tools, identity assurance is becoming essential as deepfakes improve.

Zoom: Zoom is the first communications platform to offer integration of Deep Face directly into its meetings product. The integration delivers a hardware-backed root of trust through a three-way match: the cryptographically signed image taken when the participant originally verified at an Orb, a real-time Face Auth liveness selfie taken on the participant’s device, and the live video frame that other participants see on screen. When all three match, the result is confirmation, with high assurance, that the person on the call is the real, verified human who is expected. The integration analyzes video only, not audio.

In digital agreements, the need to tie actions back to a real person is equally important.

Docusign: Docusign and World are teaming up to bring proof of human into the document signing trust model. Through World ID, signers can confirm specific attributes about themselves, proving they are human and not a bot. This establishes a foundation for human continuity in agreement workflows – giving actions, whether performed directly or delegated, ties back to a verified human.

These use cases address growing risks around impersonation, fraud, and AI-generated deception in business-critical interactions.

World ID for Agents: Human Verification in an Automated World

As AI agents increasingly act on behalf of individuals, verifying the human behind those agents becomes essential.

World is introducing new capabilities to ensure a human remains involved at critical moments in automated workflows, including “human in the loop.”

World is teaming up with Vercel to bring human in the loop to developers building on Vercel’s new open-source Workflow SDK. Developers can add a step to any workflow or agent to require human verification, and every verification is viewable inside each workflow execution for full auditability. The result is a provable record that a human was in the loop when it mattered most. This feature is live today, and it can be installed from npm.

World is also working with Okta to define how humans and agents interact.

Okta is planning to build a new product: Human Principal. Human Principal will allow API builders to verify whether a human stands behind an agent and its actions, and enforce policies accordingly. Humans will be able to verify themselves using a number of verification methods, and obtain device-bound cryptographic proof that carries across products without requiring cumbersome re-verification. World ID, slated to become one of the first Human Principal integration partners, is set to provide Human Principal with a privacy-preserving, user-friendly, and ubiquitous proof of human verification method.*

Once combined, World ID and Human Principal will enable features like rate limits per human for agent traffic, abuse-protected free tiers, and a cleaner onboarding flow for agents that need to access services on behalf of their human principal. The waitlist to join the upcoming Human Principal beta is now open at humanprincipal.ai.

These tools create a verifiable link between human intent and automated execution in the emerging agentic web.

World ID for People: Bringing Trust to Everyday Platforms

World ID is also expanding across the platforms people use every day, especially where authenticity and fairness matter most. One example is online dating, where trust is fundamental to how people connect.

Last year, World and Match Group launched a World ID pilot with Tinder in Japan, providing individuals with a privacy-preserving way to help confirm there is a real human behind the profile. Today, that integration expands on Tinder in select markets, including Japan and the United States, bringing proof of human to Tinder at scale. The experience is simple: verify with an Orb once, connect your Tinder account, stand out with a verified human badge and increase higher-quality connections by showing you’re real, and for a limited time, receive five free Boosts on Tinder, a paid in-app feature that makes your profile one of the top profiles in your local area. That kind of confidence changes how people show up, and when people show up authentically, better connections follow.

Live events are one of the most visible places where dreaded bots cost real fans real money. World also introduced Concert Kit, a new product that allows artists to reserve tickets for verified humans. Artists are already committing to piloting Concert Kit. Thirty Seconds to Mars will reserve a portion of tickets for verified humans on their upcoming 2027 tour, with more details to come. Some reports suggested that Tools for Humanity has a partnership or commercial relationship with Bruno Mars, ‘The Romantic Tour,’ or Live Nation. This is not the case. There is no business relationship, agreement, or collaboration of any kind between Tools for Humanity, World or its related products and these parties.

About World

World is intended to be the world’s largest, most inclusive network of real humans. The project was originally conceived by Sam Altman, Max Novendstern, and Alex Blania and aims to provide proof of human, finance and connection for every human in the age of AI. Kelvinator Turns up the Cool Factor this summer with its Disruptive ‘Summer Paused’ 3D OOH Innovation

Kolkata, Apr 24: Kelvinator India has elevated outdoor advertising with a high-impact 3D hoarding that boldly declares Summer Paused bringing its powerful cooling promise to life in a way that stops commuters in their tracks. Currently rolled out across a high-impact site in Kolkata, the campaign will soon extend to Ahmedabad and Mangalore timed to cut through peak summer clutter when air conditioner advertising is at its most competitive.

Kelvinator Turns up the Cool Factor this summer with its Disruptive ‘Summer Paused’ 3D OOH Innovation

Creative Execution

The installation features a bold 3D visual where a frost-covered figure scales a towering ladder to climb into a larger-than-life billboard—one that has been entirely taken over by the chill. Inside the frame, a Kelvinator split AC cools the space so powerfully that a cheerful snowman, complete with a yellow beanie and scarf, lounges comfortably on a couch. Icicles cascade dramatically along the billboard’s borders and extend beyond the frame, blurring the line between the creative and the real world. The headline “Summer Paused” anchors the idea, while the sub-message “Heavy Duty Cooling” reinforces the product promise—turning a static outdoor format into a theatrical, temperature-defying spectacle.

Media Strategy

The campaign leverages premium OOH formats in three climatically and commercially significant markets during peak summer months. By extending elements beyond the billboard frame, the brand reimagines traditional outdoor into an experience-led medium.

Designed for both on-ground impact and digital amplification, the installation encourages user-generated content, as commuters stop to capture and share the creative—driving organic social visibility alongside physical reach. #KelvinatorForTheCoolestOne #SummerPaused

Brand Objective

The campaign reflects Kelvinator’s positioning— “For the Coolest One”—targeting aspiration-driven consumers who seek both performance and style. The creative translates the product promise into a compelling, real-world brand experience.

With this campaign, Kelvinator India demonstrates how innovative OOH can drive both visibility and engagement, particularly in high-clutter, seasonal categories like air conditioners. As temperatures rise, the message is clear: for powerful, reliable cooling, Kelvinator air conditioners deliver.

The new range of Kelvinator air conditioners are thoughtfully designed to meet the evolving demands of India’s diverse and increasingly challenging climatic conditions, the new range represents a seamless convergence of intelligent smart technology, superior energy efficiency, and the time-tested dependability that has long been synonymous with the Kelvinator name.
