Axelspace Announces Launch of Seven GRUS-3 Earth Observation Microsatellites, No Earlier Than July 2026

Business Wire India

Axelspace Corporation, a leading developer and operator of microsatellites dedicated to realizing its vision of “Space within Your Reach,” announced today that GRUS-3, a set of seven next-generation Earth observation microsatellites, is scheduled to be launched no earlier than July 2026.

The seven GRUS-3 microsatellites will launch aboard the Transporter-17 rideshare mission via Exolaunch, a global leader in launch mission management, satellite integration, and deployment services, from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, USA.

We currently operate five optical Earth observation microsatellites, GRUS-1, under our Earth observation data service, AxelGlobe. With the launch of its successor, GRUS-3, it will expand its satellite constellation to more than 10 satellites.

Enabling Wide-Area, High-Frequency Observation

GRUS-3 will capture images of the Earth’s surface at the same location once per day for locations north of 25 degrees latitude from an orbit at an altitude of 585 km. It features a spatial resolution (GSD) of 2.2 meters, with each satellite having an effective swath of 28.3 km and a maximum capture length of 1,356km. A combined daily capture capacity is 2.3 million km² across seven satellites.

By enabling wide-area, high-frequency observation, GRUS-3 allows for more rapid and continuous monitoring of changes on the Earth’s surface.

Expanding the Applications of Earth Observation Data

GRUS-3 is newly equipped with the “coastal blue” spectral band, which is effective for capturing information beneath the water surface. In addition to acquiring true color imagery and data for analyzing vegetation health, as with GRUS-1, GRUS-3 can also observe shallow coastal features such as seabed topography and seagrass beds.

By combining the enhanced observation frequency and performance of GRUS-3 with our satellite attitude control technology—enabling tasking (on-demand imaging of designated areas)—we will meet growing demand across a wide range of fields, environment and security, in addition to precision agriculture, forest monitoring, and map creation.

Berlin in summer: gardens in full bloom, open courtyards, long evenings – and right at the heart of it all, Charlottenburg, one of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. Just a few minutes by bicycle from Savignyplatz, between restaurants, galleries and the Tiergarten, lies the Wilmina.

Born from a former courthouse and women’s prison – transformed by Grüntuch Ernst Architekten into an extraordinary retreat with hotel, restaurant, bakery and bar. Recognised by the Michelin Guide, member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and multiply awarded for its sustainable architecture.

Hidden. In the heart of Berlin

This family-run hotel offers 66 rooms, apartments and lofts – from classic rooms to the light-filled Penthouse. Each is unique: historic authenticity meets modern comfort with handcrafted Coco-Mat beds made from natural materials, bright colours and soft textures.

At its heart is the Atrium, with a floating installation of glass Bocci pendant lights. Beyond that: library, fireplace lounge, bar, spa with sauna, gym and a Rooftop Pool with panoramic views across Charlottenburg.

Head chef Sophia Rudolph serves Contemporary German Cuisine – seasonal, regional, crafted with great care and precision. Lovis is listed in the Michelin Guide and featured in 50 Best Discovery 2022.

The Lovis Bar next door follows the same philosophy: drinks arranged by aroma and flavour rather than brand names. In summer, the bar opens onto the lush green courtyard – one of the finest spots for an aperitif in the city.

Wilmina Brot – Craft & Patience

Right on Kantstraße 80, Wilmina Brot supplies the hotel – and the whole neighbourhood – with fresh natural sourdough bread every day. Ancient grains, heritage varieties, long fermentation times: baked by hand, with finely developed flavours and exceptional digestibility.

The bread is also a cornerstone of the Wilmina breakfast – served in the courtyard or lobby, alongside regional produce and house-made spreads. The perfect start to a summer day in Berlin.

Carbon Emerging as a Business, Trade and Credit Risk Variable for India Inc. Rubix Data Sciences

Mumbai, May 19: Carbon is rapidly moving beyond sustainability disclosures to become a measurable business cost, export competitiveness factor, and emerging creditrisk variable for Indian companies, according to a new report by Rubix Data Sciences and Breathe ESG.  As one of the largest and fastest-growing economies, India’s progress in advancing its carbon market and climate transition framework will be watched by the world. It has great potential to set a strong example of balancing economic growth with sustainability and global climate ambition.

The report, titled Carbon as a Business VariableTradeRisk, and the Evolution of India’s Carbon Market’, comes at a critical juncture as India prepares to operationalise its domestic carbon market in 2026 amid rising global climate-linked trade regulations, including the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), which is already increasing pressure on export-oriented sectors such as steel and aluminium.

According to the report, carbon exposure is increasingly beginning to influence cost structures, profitability, capital allocation, supply-chain decisions, and creditrisk assessment frameworks. Regulatory expectations from institutions such as the RBI and SEBI are also gradually pushing businesses and lenders towards deeper carbon and ESG integration.

India has emerged as a significant voluntary carbon market, with over 375 million carbon credits issued between 2010 and 2025. However, the report notes that much of the value created through these credits has accrued outside India, with limited linkage to domestic emissions reduction priorities. The introduction of the Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS) and the broader Indian Carbon Market framework reflects a shift towards retaining both economic as well as environmental values within the domestic system, the report elucidates.

The report also highlights significant execution bottlenecks within India’s carbon ecosystem. Rubix’s analysis of over 1,100 Verra-certified Indian carbon projects found that only about one-third of projects successfully reach the registration stage, with many facing delays related to verification requirements, monitoring costs, and regulatory uncertainty. According to the report, these delays have direct implications for monetisation, investor confidence, project viability, and the long-term credibility of India’s emerging carbon market.

The report further warns that global climate regulations are rapidly changing the economics of international trade. Mechanisms such as the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) are effectively turning carbon emissions into a direct export cost for Indian industry, particularly for steel and aluminium exports, with spillover effects on sectors such as cement and fertilisers. Carbon efficiency, the report notes, is increasingly becoming a determinant of pricing power, competitiveness, and market access rather than merely a compliance consideration.

Rubix also highlights that carbon and energy exposure are becoming increasingly relevant to lenders, insurers, and rating frameworks. As climate disclosure expectations evolve, financial institutions may face growing pressure to incorporate carbon exposure into creditrisk assessment, portfolio evaluation, and underwriting decisions.

Supply-chain emissions are emerging as another major area of concern. The report notes that Scope 3 emissions can significantly exceed direct operational emissions across sectors, making supplier-level carbon transparency and compliance increasingly important for procurement, trade finance, and business continuity decisions.

“A large part of carbon risk will not sit within a company’s own operations, but within its supply chain. Many businesses, which currently view carbon only from the lens of compliance, may discover that their exposure comes indirectly through suppliers, financing relationships, and export dependencies rather than from emissions alone. As global markets increasingly link carbon exposure with pricing, procurement, financing, and market access, business behaviour and investment decisions are also beginning to shift accordingly. India is now moving into that phase, where carbon is gradually becoming more directly connected to competitiveness, supplier evaluation, and long-term commercial viability”, said Mohan Ramaswamy, Co-founder & CEO Rubix Data Sciences.

The report concludes that India’s carbon transition has evolved from an environmental or policy issue to an emerging economic and financial shift that could influence competitiveness, financing costs, supply-chain resilience, and long-term enterprise value across sectors. While the pace of this transition may vary across industries, carbon’s relevance to credit assessment, supplier evaluation, and financial decision-making will continue to increase.

Omdia: Amazon, Netflix and Google to Capture Half of $81 Billion CTV Advertising Market by 2030

Business Wire India

Global connected TV (CTV) advertising revenue will surge from $44 billion in 2025 to $81 billion by 2030, with CTV ad revenues expected to surpass traditional linear TV advertising during the 2030s, according to new research by Omdia.

This press release features multimedia. View the full release here: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20260518833831/en/

Global CTV advertising revenue by company, 2015-2030

Global CTV advertising revenue by company, 2015-2030

Google, Amazon and Netflix Dominate the Evolving TV Landscape

The global fight to “own the living room” is entering a new phase as Google, Amazon and Netflix are projected to capture 50% of the global connected TV advertising market by 2030. The findings highlight how the center of power in television is rapidly shifting away from traditional broadcasting toward streaming platforms, TV operating systems and advertising ecosystems. By the end of the decade:

  • Google is forecast to command 26% of global CTV advertising revenue
  • Amazon is expected to account for 13%
  • Netflix is projected to represent 9%

Combined, Google, Amazon, and Netflix will account for half of the entire global CTV advertising market by 2030.

CTV Advertising Growth Accelerates as Platforms Compete for Connected Households

The shift comes as media companies, streamers, retailers and technology giants race to secure premium positioning in connected households. Amazon is leveraging Prime Video and retail media integration to expand its TV advertising footprint, while Netflix continues to scale its advertising business globally through its ad-supported tier. Google remains dominant through YouTube’s massive connected TV reach and broader advertising infrastructure.

Omdia expects several trends to accelerate the transformation of television advertising over the next five years:

  • Expansion of ad-supported streaming services
  • Convergence of retail media and television advertising
  • Growth in programmatic and targeted TV advertising
  • Increasing importance of TV operating systems and smart TV ecosystems
  • Greater competition for consumer attention and platform ownership

Omdia also revealed that the European TV operating system landscape is shifting rapidly. According to the research firm, VIDAA is becoming Europe’s third-largest TV operating system this year after Android TV and Tizen, overtaking several established competitors as manufacturers seek greater ownership of the smart TV experience.

TV Operating Systems Evolve into Strategic Commerce Gateways

“The battle for the living room is no longer only about streaming content,” said Maria Rua Aguete, Head of Media & Entertainment at Omdia. “It is increasingly about controlling the platform, the advertising layer, the operating system, the data and ultimately the consumer relationship.”

Rua Aguete noted that television is becoming one of the most strategic gateways for digital advertising, retail media and commerce integration, with tech companies increasingly competing to control the TV interface itself.

“CTV companies are at risk of losing incredibly valued ground to these tech giants and many cannot afford to do so as the hardware business becomes increasingly unprofitable,” added David Tett, Principal Analyst at Omdia. “Strategies are needed to fight for their own advertising revenues in the new-look landscape and avoid ceding too much ground to players such as Google and Amazon.”

The findings reinforce how television, commerce and digital advertising are converging into a single ecosystem and why the connected TV environment is becoming one of the most strategically valuable positions in media.

ITC Infotech and InsureMO Partner to Bring AI-Driven Insurance Modernisation to Middle East, Africa, and India

Business Wire India

ITC Infotech, a global technology services and solutions provider, and InsureMO, the global insurance infrastructure platform, today announced a strategic alliance to help insurers accelerate modernisation through agentic AI. The partnership will focus initially on the Middle East, Africa, and India, with plans to expand into additional markets.

The alliance brings together two complementary capabilities: ITC Infotech’s K-Fabric agentic AI framework, which orchestrates autonomous AI agents across business workflows, and InsureMO’s platform of 2,500+ atomic APIs spanning policy, claims, underwriting, distribution, and product configuration. Given that InsureMO’s APIs are built in open, structured formats, AI agents can discover, call, and compose them into working insurance applications directly which is core technical enabler. Hence K-Fabric’s agents do not need custom integration or proprietary connectors to operate on InsureMO. They simply call the APIs.

For insurers in the Middle East, Africa, and India, the partnership addresses a specific challenge encompassing the need to modernise operations and launch new products quickly, without the cost and risk of replacing existing core systems. InsureMO’s API layer sits alongside legacy systems of record, while ITC Infotech’s AI agents automate processes that would traditionally require months of manual configuration and integration work.

Under the alliance, the two companies will co-develop AI-driven insurance solutions, starting with intelligent underwriting, automated product configuration, and claims workflow automation. ITC Infotech’s Digital and AI Experience Centres in Bengaluru and Kolkata, along with its AI Studio in Pune, will serve as co-innovation hubs for solution development and client validation. ITC Infotech will also build a certified InsureMO practice, with engineers trained and certified on InsureMO’s platform architecture and API framework.

Manas Chakraborty, CEO of ITC Infotech, said: “Insurers in high-growth markets need transformation at speed which can enable them to deliver results in months, not years. Our alliance with InsureMO provides a platform for our K-Fabric AI agents to operate natively across the insurance value chain, helping carriers deploy intelligent automation faster, with lower risk and cost than traditional modernisation programmes.”

Rajat Sharma, Chief Revenue Officer at InsureMO, said: “ITC Infotech’s strength in the Middle East and India, combined with their K-Fabric AI framework, makes them an ideal partner to bring our platform to enterprises who want to modernise without disruption. Our APIs are designed so that any AI tool that can call an API can build on InsureMO. With ITC Infotech’s delivery capability and regional presence, we can now offer insurers a complete path from AI strategy to production deployment.”

The alliance is with immediate effect, with joint go-to-market activities planned across the Middle East, India, and Africa in 2026.
