Hyderabad 19th February 2024: KLH Hyderabad campus vibrantly concluded a dynamic week of community service in Pudur village, Parigi Mandal, recently. Anchored by the noble National Service Scheme (NSS) principle of ‘Not Me But You’, this initiative unfolded as a profound demonstration of social responsibility and unity. Organized by the dedicated NSS team of KLH of KL Deemed to be University, the camp commenced with a mission to uplift the village’s social fabric significantly.

The inauguration by Shri T. Ram Manohan Reddy, MLA of Parigi, set a positive tone for the week. He applauded the university’s unwavering commitment to social welfare and the holistic development of the community. The spectrum of activities ranged from enhancing cleanliness and environmental sustainability to bolstering educational pursuits, all designed to foster a thriving communal ecosystem.

Expanding on the initiative’s deeper significance, Dr. G.Pardha Saradhi Varma, Vice-Chancellor of KL Deemed to be University, remarked, “This community service initiative is a testament to our proactive approach towards societal betterment. At University, we don’t just believe in the academic excellence of our students but also in their ability to be compassionate leaders who can drive societal change. Our commitment to such endeavours is rooted in a long-standing tradition of service and the belief that education should transcend classroom walls to positively impact the world around us. In collaboration with stakeholders, KLH NSS volunteers led health camp, cleanliness drives, awareness rallies, tree plantation efforts, and interactive educational sessions for children, showcasing a comprehensive approach to community development. The initiative saw the active involvement of volunteers, local women, students, and elected officials, all united in their goal to enact positive societal change.

Dr. A Ramakrishna, Principal, KLH, Dr. MP Mallesh, the KLH NSS Coordinator, and other faculty members were instrumental in the success of the event, marking a significant milestone in the university’s ongoing commitment to societal betterment and sustainable development. The KLH campuses of the University remains steadfast in the mission to promote societal transformation through collaborative and innovative endeavours, paving the way for a brighter and more inclusive future.
