Mumbai, 23rd February 2024: For aspiring entrepreneurs seeking to head their ventures and young professionals striving to lead and manage their family businesses, NMIMS’ Pravin Dalal School of Entrepreneurship and Family Business Management (PDSE&FBM) serves as a thriving academic home. The distinguished institute has over 2 decades of experience in catering to Indian family businesses and is committed to providing students with the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed in the world of entrepreneurship and family business management.

PDSE&FBM has now started accepting admissions to all its programmes for the academic year 2024-2025. The programmes offered by the school include the Integrated MBA in Family Business, the flagship MBA in Entrepreneurship and Family Business Management, the MBA in Entrepreneurship, the Women Entrepreneurship Programme and a BBA in Marketing Management. 

PDSE&FBM provides its students with a comprehensive education that equips them with the skills, knowledge and experience needed to succeed in today’s rapidly changing competitive business environment. With a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship, innovation and family business, the school offers students a unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain practical experience in developing and managing successful businesses. 

PDSE&FBM’s Integrated MBA in Family Business is a unique five-year programme (with an exit option) designed to balance thoughts, experimentation, and action with logical reasoning, analysis and fundamentals of business. Upon completion, students will be awarded two degrees – a BBA (E&FB) and an MBA (E&FB). The programme is focused on nurturing students with an entrepreneurial mindset. The programme offers an exit option upon completion of the first three years. In this arrangement, students will be awarded only the BBA degree and an offer to join back.

The 2-year MBA (Entrepreneurship) programme is tailored for individuals seeking to lead and manage businesses and those seeking to start their ventures. Meanwhile, the flagship 2-year MBA (Entrepreneurship & Family Business) programme provides subjects including business planning, financing, market analysis, and risk management. Students will also have the opportunity to work on live projects, participate in business simulations, and visit international destinations to gain a deeper understanding of the global business landscape.

Recognising the potential of women in business leadership and with a focus on promoting inclusive business leadership, PDSE&FBM offers the 9-month Women Entrepreneurship Programme. This unique programme aims to facilitate ambitious women entrepreneurs to start and transform their small businesses into thriving enterprises.

The BBA (Marketing Management) is a specialised undergraduate programme and includes intensive applied business training. The programme was earlier offered as a Bachelor’s in Business Management and Marketing (BBMM).With an emphasis on marketing management, the programme introduces students to new and emerging media and marketing analytics. Keeping up with the new and emerging trends in marketing, the programme comes with a strong focus on digital marketing, marketing research and analytics, sales and distribution, channel management and neuromarketing. Students can seek admission to this programme through NPAT 2024.

PDSE&FBM also has an international exposure programme that provides students with a global perspective, equipping them with the skills necessary to lead their scalability strategies. PDSE&FBM is an NMIMS School of Business Management initiative and is accredited by AACSB.
