ACC launches Bagcrete, a user-friendly, pre-blended concrete solution

Bangalore, 17th May 2023: ACC Limited, the cement and building material company of Adani Cement and part of the Adani Group, has been a pioneer in building innovative concrete solutions. The company’s ongoing innovation process is consistent with ACC Bagcrete, a proportional balance of premium components produced to generate high quality concrete mix.

The company has added a new product dimension to the building industry with ACC Bagcrete, a hassle-free, smart, and user-friendly concrete solution for all types of construction demands. A stronger, more durable final product is produced as a result of the pre-blended components being meticulously measured to ensure uniform quality.

The product was created to offer the best compressive strength (10 MPa to 80 MPa), exceptional workability retention, and unmatched ease of placement, a trifecta of attributes that set it apart from competing products. In contrast to traditional concrete, which necessitates the mixing of various components on-site, it is a pre-blended mixture of cement, sand, and aggregates. For building projects that call for a quick and effective application method, ACC Bagcrete is ideal.

There are two functional variants of the versatile building material ACC Bagcrete: Dry-Mix and Wet-Mix. The Dry-Mix is pre-blended concrete that may be used right away with just the addition of water. Wet-Mix is pre-mixed, immediately usable concrete that doesn’t require any additional mixing before use. This can be especially helpful in places with scarce water supplies or where conventional concrete mixing techniques are impractical. Both kinds of ACC Bagcrete are of exceptional quality and effectiveness. This unique concrete solution is ideal for remote job sites and maintenance projects since it can be easily transported in the form of bags, enhancing productivity.

Mr. Ajay Kapur, CEO, Cement Business, said “We are dedicated to pursuing product innovations and offering the finest products and services to our customers. We have always strived to create products of the highest calibre in order to meet the varied needs of our customers and assist them in constructing robust structures. ACC Bagcrete is a unique product that not only meets but also exceeds the demands of our customers.”

The prestigious university IIT Bombay has recently reaped significant benefits of using ACC Bagcrete for a special need in its R&D Lab of Civil Engineering Department. The M80 Grade ACC Bagcreate has also been used in various NHPC projects in spillway repairing. ACC Bagcrete is a unique solution that guarantees minimal waste, accelerates construction, and improves longevity with constant quality. In conclusion, dry-mix concrete is a versatile and convenient option for construction projects of all types.

Axis Three Dee Studios display’s sound & light show at Statue of Belief in Rajasthan

xis Three Dee Studios

New Delhi, 17th, May 2023: Axis Three Dee Studios—a one-of-its-kind initiative in immersive visual media and projection mapping—launched a fascinating son-et-lumière (light-and-sound) show display at the recently inaugurated ‘Vishwas Swaroopam’ (Statue of Belief) as a permanent installation. Revolving around the themes of ‘Aarambh’ (The Beginning) and ‘Shabd Utpatti’ (Origin of Language), the shows keep the audience enthralled throughout the entire 20-30-minute program. With many more stories to be introduced shortly, the 369-foot Statue of Belief promises to be a ‘must-visit’ landmark already thronged by thousands of visitors every day.

The unique narration is in a ‘Kathavachak’ or narrative form, and has been scripted and narrated by Shri Madan Paliwal Ji, Chairman of the iconic conglomerate, Miraj Group, of Udaipur. The language brings alive the timeless knowledge and wisdom of this ancient land weaving lucidly into the narrative numerous anecdotes, references and direct quotes from the Sanatani scriptures. All of it is in a form easily understood by the young and old alike.

This projection is a daily event. Painting the night sky aglow in a riot of colours, the resplendent Statue of Belief comes alive with the help of 24 Barco’s UDX series projectors, each shooting out a staggering 40,000 lumens of brightness and that, too, in 4K resolution for an ultra-vivid and crisp rendition.

Located atop the hill of Ganesh Tekri within the ‘Tat Padam Upvan’ grounds, the ‘Vishwas Swaroopam’ statue was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Ashok Gehlot, along with Sri Morari Bapu and Rajasthan Assembly Speaker, Shri CP Joshi, in October 2022. ‘Vishwas Swaroopam’ is the world’s tallest Shiva idol, and constructed by Tat Padam Sansthan. The statue depicts Mahadev in a rare sitting posture, as He benevolently looks below at the surrounding expanses of Nathdwara and beyond. The ‘Tat Padam Upvan’ is spread over a sprawling 31 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds.

‘Vishwas Swaroopam’ can be seen from as far as 20 kilometers on days when visibility and the weather permits. It has become the latest iconic landmark for the region. Every evening, this majestic statue comes to life in a stunning riot of colours, sound and light during the projection mapping show, created and commissioned by Axis Three Dee Studio Pvt. Ltd.

The Statue of Belief was envisioned by Shri Madan Paliwal Ji. The Miraj Group had selected and entrusted the entire projection design and execution job to Axis Three Dee Studios. Mr Avijit Samajdar, CEO, Axis Three Dee Studios, who is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning Projection Designer, having numerous projects in India and the world to his credit, is Producer and Director for the content design of this amazing projection mapping show. He and his immensely talented, creative, installation and mapping team had created the unique blueprint for such a complex project—right from conception to execution and its successful conclusion for handover.

The mesmerising, fluidic visuals with their vibrant colours and seamless transitions, sprinkled with lavish visionary art, have come to be recognised as the hallmark style of its Director, Avijit Samajdar. Avijit praised his content team for their deep insight in connecting words with images, even on such complex topography and surface colours, while always maintaining the storyline’s sanctity.

“All credit goes to the technical team, including experts from Dataton led by Mr Ashok Sharma, regional head, DATATON, Sweden, for A-Pac, whose Watchout system provided the robust backbone. For a show that required communication between a multitude of hardware and software with clockwork precision,” says Avijit, “nothing but the best can suffice and Watchout mapping systems and Dataton media servers were my first choice. Having worked with this hardware and software many times before, I know they’re real workhorses under the most challenging conditions and, once again, they have proved me right.”

As Avijit so eloquently sums up his craft, “Content designing is nothing but a clever play of abstract geometry and colors woven into a storyline to draw the audience into its seductive flow… Based on the audience reaction, I’m happy that we’ve managed to achieve the visual magic we set out to do.”

In conclusion, Avijit Samajdar was all praises for the team at Miraj without whose cooperation and teamwork this herculean task would not have been possible. He added, “I consider it a privilege to have got the opportunity to work closely with Shri Madan Paliwal Ji, whose deep understanding and grasp of complex subjects, coupled with his infectious personality, has only made us all richer in experience and wisdom.”

Universalize India’s Public Digital Goods into Global Assets, say Experts at C20 Summit on Technology & Security in Coimbatore

Universalize India’s Public Digital Goods

Mumbai /16th, May 2023: The C20 Summit on Technology and Security for One World concluded at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Coimbatore with 52 Indian and international experts shedding light on various aspects of technology and security. The five plenary sessions and ten policy breakouts across two days led to ideas and a roadmap that will directly impact the policy recommendations to be launched at the C20 Summit in July 2023. The two-day event was hosted by the official Engagement Group of C20 on Technology, Security & Transparency (TST).

Addl. Secretary (G-20) with India’s Ministry of External Affairs and Sous-Sherpa, G-20 India Ambassador, Abhay Thakur, was the Chief Guest at the valedictory session, which also saw the presence of Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri, Vice Chairman, Mata Amritanandamayi Math and Troika Member C20. Yigal Unna, Former DG of Israel National Cyber Directorate, and Alessandra Nilo, C20 Troika member, addressed the delegates virtually.

Making a strong pitch for treating technology as a public good and turning India’s digital public goods into freely available global assets, Sous-Sherpa, G-20 India Ambassador, Abhay Thakur, said: “The world needs a completely non-commercial, public-service approach to technological advancement, and India can take a lead in facilitating the use of digital technology as a global public good which is free and easily accessible to all. The country is among the fastest digitizing economies in the world and is expected to add USD 1 trillion of economic value from its digital economy in the next 2 years. India today is in an exclusive position to help other countries build their digital public infrastructure. We need to transform our national digital public goods like UPI, Aadhar, and DigiLocker into global digital public assets. If universalized, these carry immense potential to contribute to global economic development and ease of living. A key priority of India’s G20 presidency is to share its model of digital public infrastructure across the world as open, inter-operable, inclusive, secure, and market-friendly public digital platforms.”

Said Dr. Krishnashree Achuthan, National Coordinator of C20 Summit on Technology, Security & Transparency and Dean, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham: “With this summit, we have taken a very successful first step towards technology and security policy changes. The use of technology and creation of policies surrounding it must be grounded in compassion for civil society. This summit has come up with several recommendations. First, to bridge the digital divide, we must create incentives for investment in under-served communities and fund community technology centers, while ensuring that government services are accessible online. We must also re-skill and upskill people to rethink the future of work and become capable of working jobs that utilize AI.”

Recounting the recommendations of experts, she added: “For safe internet practices, we must organize digital literacy campaigns to educate citizens on safe use of technology. Multi-language models will help promote equitable access to technology. Countries need to lobby for the right to repair and use refurbished technology while strengthening technical skills of youth and workers. Policy makers must take a human-centric approach to design cybersecurity policies so that they don’t infringe on fundamental human rights. Regulations should be drafted to assign liability for harm arising from AI tools. We also need to establish global regulations on how social media platforms should identify and regulate disinformation while safeguarding freedom of speech.”

Three significant initiatives for technology and security were announced at the Summit. The Global Internet Governance, Digital Empowerment and Security Alliance (GLIDES), a grouping of civil society organizations, was formally launched to enable inclusive, open, non-discriminatory, and fair digital societies. It is intended as a launching pad for evolving multi stakeholder policy-making process for security and internet governance and other pressing issues like digital access, safe harbor, net neutrality, data privacy, fake news, multilingual Internet, and digital rights.

The Technology Advancement & Capacity Building Initiative (TACTICS) for CSOs is a step towards enhancing the cybersecurity posture of civil society, according to Dr. Krishnashree Achuthan. It is a cyber-awareness training program created to educate its members about common cyber threats and attack techniques. It provides information about best practices for securing personal and professional data and the safe use of social media and email.

The third initiative, a collaboration between the C20 Working Group on TST and How Women Lead (USA), has been started by women for women. It is led by top executive women for the digital empowerment of other women through personal leadership, investment, and philanthropy.

Staqu Technologies Unveils JARVIS’ Heat Mapping Feature: Revolutionizing Audio-Video Data Analysis

New Delhi, India –16th, May 2023: Staqu Technologies, a leading artificial intelligence solutions provider, has unveiled a new heat mapping feature for their JARVIS platform is poised to revolutionize video analytics. The heat mapping feature uses a real-time camera feed to track human movement and has a wide range of potential applications across various industries.

One industry that could greatly benefit from this technology is retail. The JARVIS heat mapping feature offers insightful data on customer behavior, demographics, consumer preference, and store layout optimization. In addition, it can also enhance inventory management, analyze sales and customer metrics, and identify potential revenue generators.

According to Mr. Atul Rai, founder, and CEO of Staqu Technologies, ” Empowering offline players with the JARVIS heat mapping feature is a game-changer across industries, bringing them on par with their online counterparts. By providing comprehensive data analysis and insights, we can help businesses enhance their customer experience and create effective business strategies to achieve the best revenue growth for their business. At Staqu Technologies, we believe in tailoring to use the existing camera to use it deduce the insights which are helpful in revenue growth. With JARVIS heat mapping, we are revolutionizing the way businesses operate and grow, one insight at a time.”

An illustrative example is a retail store with clearly defined sections for things like clothing, shirts, and trousers. In a conventional format, the store’s owner might not be aware of how much time each customer spends in these areas. Additionally, the owner is unaware of the reasons why a particular section—perhaps a coat—is selling out so quickly while many customers are browsing another section, perhaps a shirt.

However, it is now possible to study consumer behavior and gather useful data thanks to the use of AI-powered video analytics with heat mapping technology. The retailer may then alter the cost or the quality of its goods to better suit consumer preferences. Heat map analysis is a helpful tool for retailers, allowing them to track foot traffic in each section, gauge customer dwell time, and assess sales conversion rates.

In addition to JARVIS, a heatmap feature for the retail industry, JARVIS is further used in smart cities, real estate, manufacturing, and airports for safety hazard prevention, as well as to track unlawful activities, fire hazards, and other analytics.

JARVIS has more than 90+ analytics being used to provide businesses with valuable insights and cost-saving operational benefits in real time along with a Video management (VMS) feature. JARVIS further is capable of performing audio analytics using audio coming from a camera mic.

Staqu Technologies’ JARVIS platform continues to set new standards in the AI industry with innovative features like heat mapping technology. The company is committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions that address the complex challenges faced by businesses in today’s fast-paced world.
