Avaada Foundation Transforms Government Schools with Smart Board Installation

Mumbai, 9th Nov 2023- For the past seven years, Avaada Foundation (www.avaadafoundation.com) has been actively working to bring positive change to the lives of citizens in Jayapur and Nagpur. With the aim of revolutionizing education in Jayapur’s Government Primary Schools, the Foundation has installed two Smart Boards. The use of Smart Boards in primary schools will make education more interactive and engaging, enhancing children’s understanding, and learning capabilities. This will enable children to access the right learning materials and resources, allowing them to learn more in less time and lead successful, content, and prosperous lives.

In this series, the Foundation has also provided furniture, study chairs, and two Smart Boards for primary schools in Jayapur to create a conducive environment for holistic child development and quality education.

To make the most of the Smart Boards, Avaada Foundation is providing proper training to teachers, enabling them to efficiently teach subjects using lively videos and animations. Using Smart Boards, teachers can make challenging subjects easier to comprehend in less time. Children can actively participate by touching the Smart Board to answer questions, draw pictures, and engage in other activities.

In addition to the benefits of Smart Boards, the Avaada Foundation has arranged for the provision of chairs and desks in schools. This will make it more convenient for children to sit and study, improving their overall learning experience.

The Foundation has previously arranged for furniture and educational resources as per the needs of the school, furthering their commitment to provide quality education and support for child development.

RV University opens admissions for 2024-25

The final assault on 2023 begins in Malaysia for Repsol Honda Team

Malaysia9th November 2023: 2023’s end looms large as just three more Grands Prix are left on the longest MotoGP season to date, the Repsol Honda Team is ready to work until the end.

Round 18 begins the final push of 2023, one last triple header to conclude an intense year. The familiar Sepang International Circuit will kick off this last stint, it’s 5.54 kilometers familiar to the entirety of the grid after multiple years of pre-season testing at the venue. This offers not only a chance to work from the setup found at the test, but also to clearly benchmark the changes and progress since February.

Marc Marquez lands in Malaysia off the back of progressive weekends, scoring a steady run of points since Misano. Following this trend of putting together consistent weekends and pushing when rewards are at their greatest will again be Marquez’s modus operandi for the Malaysian GP weekend. The #93 has twice taken premier class victory in Sepang and has finished on the podium an additional two times.

On the other side of the Repsol Honda Team garage, Joan Mir arrives in Sepang with ambitions of continuing his upward trajectory. Each round of the most recent flyaways has seen Mir’s confidence and feeling with the Honda RC213V grow over race distance, the 2020 MotoGP World Champion regularly showing the same pace as the top five during the race. Qualifying remains the big area to work on for #36, a higher grid position will allow him to keep out of early trouble.

The 10-lap Sprint race is scheduled to start at 15:00 Local Time on Saturday, November 11 with the full-length 20-lap Grand Prix set for 15:00 on Sunday, November 12.

We have been strong at a few of the last races, but I think honestly in Sepang it will be tough. Coming back to Malaysia, we have some information from the test but more than anything it will be a good opportunity to see how we have progressed since the start of the year. Spinny shares used car trends in Q3 2023, with Spinny Parks serving more than 50% of deliveries

 09th November 2023: With the growing trends and demand for used cars in 2023, Spinny, India’s full-stack used car marketplace, has reported substantial growth in its used car sales for the third quarter of 2023. According to the quarter report, the company witnessed a rise to 63% of first-time car buyers across India from August 2023 to October 2023 compared to 57% in Q2 2023 indicating a growing interest and trust in Spinny.

Starting the festive season with excitement, Spinny delivered over 600 cars on the first day of Navaratri. The company saw significant growth, by selling over 2300 cars during the 9-day festive period. This trend is likely to continue as Dhanteras and Diwali approaches.

With easy financing options, rapid digitalization, an increased need for personal mobility, lesser cost of ownership, etc. acting as growth drivers. While hatchbacks remained the most preferred option for Spinny buyers, there’s a growing demand for compact and luxury SUVs. When it comes to colors, Delhi NCR prefers white, silver, and grey; however, in cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Chennai, red colour is the popular choice, along with white and grey colors.

Deepfake Dilemma: Decoding the Dark Art of Digital Duplication

Mumbai, 9th November 2023:  The amount of deepfake content online is growing at a rapid rate. At the beginning of 2019, there were 7,964 deepfake videos online, according to a report from start-up Deeptrace; just nine months later, that figure had jumped to 14,678. It has no doubt continued to balloon since then. 96% of deepfakes are porn.

With the use of GenerativeAI (GenAI), the world of ‘fake news’ and ‘true lies’ just got murkier. Last week, President Joe Biden’s ‘fake’ video resulted in his Administration issuing an Executive Order related to the governance of AI frameworks. The fake video of Rashmika Mandanna earlier this week took Bollywood by storm, with senior members of the fraternity calling for legal action. Deep Fake Love is a Spanish reality TV dating show on Netflix that uses deepfake technology to blur the lines between reality and fabrication.

Deepfakes, using Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), have been around for many years. However, with the emergence of GenAI, they have become more lifelike and much easier to produce at scale. Invariably, fake videos would be of celebrities and politicians. With several elections round the corner in India, politicians and political parties could be both creators, as well as at the receiving end of such fake videos. These would be used to spread misinformation, put political opponents on the spot, or even build an entire campaign to sway voters.

The aam junta – people like you and me – could also be victims. It could be someone wanting to embarrass us professionally, or a jilted lover wanting revenge on their ex. It could even be an inconsequential prank by ‘friends’ wanting to make fun of us on social media. The possibilities, unfortunately, are endless.

Deepfake Dilemma

It is extremely important for regulators to sit up and take notice – this is the time to put in place stringent regulation with exemplary punishment to offenders. It should be mandated that anyone using an AI model to produce an image or information must disclose it. People must be made aware of Classifiers – software which can detect AI-generated content – and widespread use of the same, much like antivirus. There is an entire ethical and moral conversation that must gain traction to create awareness of how GenAI must be utilised.
